Is Ethereum going back to under 200$?

After a long time, Ethereum price increased well but it seems they failed to keep the high zone for a long time. Today Ethereum price decreased more than 25$ and it continues. Just seen an article that Ethereum price may come to 230 to 210$, so, if that happens then under 200$ is not that far!

Now the whole cryptocurrency market is going through hard times. But this should be temporary, in my opinion.

Does anyone know what is actually driving the price down? Is it the terrible economic situation in general with Covid19 or what is it.
It is obvious that crypto isn't seen as a safe haven when the stock markets are tumbling. I'm being killed on both sides at the moment...

Some are claiming that it is due to the current outbreak making people selling their coins immediately for the various purpose of buying the needs to survive this outbreak. Pretty much many essentials to this outbreak like face masks should pump in price so this might follow.
Although I don't support the idea that the current outbreak directly affected the price, it is just one of those correction we're always experiencing especially for Bitcoin.

Already eth is trading below $200. The entire crypto market is down not only eth down. Eth will not last longer than $200,It will pump with Bitcoin. Currently the market is very panic. Massive sellof going on. I think it's time to accumulate some more eth. Hopefully the crypto market will get out from this situation soon.

Today's ETH price is $201 . this is possible to go back up if there is market support meaning that if the price of BTC goes up ETH will also go up, But if the price of BTC goes back down I predict the ETH price will go back down to $180. In a sideways market situation you can buy ETH at $200 or wait for a cheaper price.

The safe heaven is the Gold and other alternative stable assets, there is no need to risk more in the uncertain market conditions. The silent market is more dangerous than over-reacting markets but the correlation should be the main reason for the whole breakdown.

Still holding, just $202 now, as per coinmarketcap, still it didn't go down very hard as I expected.
It only means that investors didn't sell their stash because of the corona virus scare or even the plus token dumping.

And it looks like the whole market has recovered, all coins are green, after 3 days of bloodshed. This is good, at least everything has settled down, and the price seems to be a good buying opportunity again.

The price in dollars fall but the price against bitcoin still holding in 0.0255btc, so, ETH wasn't affected at all for this crash. We only need to wait until bitcoin recovers and ETH will be back up to $250. I'm waiting to see it under 0.02 to buy some, but looks like that will not happen.

Well, everyone is hoping to see that ETH will not drop as what happens to bitcoin. But something we couldn't be comfortable enough as with the current situation that most coins are in the declines. If we manage to hold our ETH and not be in FOMO, maybe we can save it from falling and not only Ethereum but also of the other altcoins. And this will be a big challenge for everyone cause I know that weak hands will easily be affected by the news and that might twist their minds and sell their holdings.

Buying now is the right time because it has been under $ 200. Wait for some time to come. I am sure the market will recover and ETH will grow to its original price, but at a time like this maybe we need time and do not panic if prices continue to fall.
We will face halving, of course this will make the price soar again, believe me it will definitely make up for it.

I have been saying this multiple times - there is hardly any impact of the COVID 19 outbreak on the cryptocurrency market. The recent price crash has more to do with the dumping of cryptocurrency on various exchanges by the PlusToken scammers. The dumping has created an over-supply, and that is the primary reason why the prices have gone down. That said, the initial dump was worth around $120 million. It will take many days, or even weeks for the market to recover (given that there are no fresh dumps from these scammers).

currently the bitcoin price is at $7800 and is struggling hard not to drop below $ 7500. If the bitcoin price falls below $7500 we will start to see a big bloodbath and the altcoin prices will return to the same prices of 3 or 5 months ago where the ETH was priced at 0.02 BTC and in relation to the dollar it was priced of $180

I am not sure what the future of Ethereum will be like in the near future but looking at what is happening, the downtrend will continue with this coin. Based on recent analysis, ETH may soon return to $170 again in the next few months and this is the price you can consider investing again.

However, it is necessary to wait patiently for the next trend of this market because if the market does not have a recovery, ETH price may drop even further.

To a few people, the crypto market dump is an opportunity to get their favorite coins cheap, in this instance ETH and to many its an avenue to panic dump. Well, I already bought some ETH at 207$ and will buy more when it goes to say 175$. I know some will be saying the drift to POS coming soon is behind ETH dump but it's far from it, the whole market is obviously affected. Let's say a some days before halving, those who accumulated their favorite coins at dips should smile everything being equal.

A lot of people had been saying that we are now facing a bear market because bitcoin's price is now suddenly drops it's price under $8,000, and sad to say ethereum is also drops it's price under $200. But i think it is good for some crypto users because it is an opportunity to them to buy and hodl famous coins like eth and btc.
