I'm still bearish on this, its a confirmation of the break not disproving the previous negative action until it regains the channel its just lost.



Right now we've got the 10k area which happens to be a weekly average roughly but the channel trend its failed is as high as 10500 and it could find that as resistance now and sell from there, also that matches the previous high.   I guess that makes it more probable to occur, we have some time to see how it plays out and it wont be today.   Probably we rise or stay neutral long enough to capture a few souls into the next plunge, BTC can be a heartbreaker like that unless you like rollercoasters.

Expactations and reality often are different from each other, I honestly expect bitcoin to be 100k, do I think it will be 100k? Of course not, not this year at least, maybe in 5-10 years who knows. So you should "expect" anything you want, but know the fact that there are billions of dollars for every movement bitcoin makes, when bitcoin is 10k the market cap is billions of dollars worth more than when bitocin is 9.7k, which means in the end we are losing billions of dollars even if not in cash, it is in asset value. Not everyone can keep affording that type of drop, so I am assuming another bull run very soon to recover from that fall and make it up by going over 11k for covering whatever the cost of that increase was with the profits made afterwards.

Sentiment is positive. We are less then 3 months before halving. there is a lots of positivism for next two months. Something else might come up in that time of course. A month before halving people will start taking profits. Sentiment then will change to negative for a month or a few.

If you've able to buy into that price then you are already in profits now yet btc price touches 5 digit price again and thats an easy $300+ profits in a short time.

When it comes to the question or asking out on what would be the price or what to expect? Then no one really knows yet this had been the most common question by everybody here on crypto space.
If you can risk up on a said buying position then it would really just act like a gamble.

The price of bitcoin fell by almost $ 500 due to the fact that a decent amount of bitcoins was put up for sale on the cryptocurrency market. As a rule, such a fall with the upward movement of the market inhibits its growth by only a few days. It could be a long wait for you buddy. The market price for Bitcoin will soon to rise and expected much more for a bullish one rather than of the dumps. Halving is going to happen sooner and it is going to push the market to surge high.
And if you are planning to invest Bitcoin, better not to waste this time...the price isn't that high that could bother you if ever there are a few dumps happening before halving.

mind to just at least skip asking same questions for a week or so?it is tiring to ask for opinion every now and then specially when the value is picking another direction.

I am still positive of what may happen despite all the ruckus that is happening in Twitter.
Analysts or pros whatever they call them are all predicting some bad numbers and it is getting viral.

What I am really afraid for are the weak hands.
We can still see them.
Those who are afraid to lose even just a penny in their hand. If there will be a lot of them who would do the same then predictions might come true.
I say unfollow those guys and just remain here for more positive opinion even though bitcoin is volatile.

My expectation about bitcoin always rise. Because this halving started to make bitcoin price ready to pumped. But honestly i don't have technical analysis about it. Only follow news which usually good news. If bad news come i will ignore it and stay to hold my bitcoin.

  Those companies sell sha256 mining gear. More the a few billion usd worth of it every year. They all have an interest in driving prices of BTC BCH BSV higher.

They have announced 5nm and 3 nm gear.  If they are to sell more gear they will need higher price then 10k a coin.  So I look to see coins go up to and above 11111 on march 3rd

But even up to and over 12345 on Apr 3rd .    I also look for BCH and BSV  with their April ½ ings coming first to rise higher..

The price of bitcoin will continue on being volatile and whether it will going rise or fall still keep on investing and do not expect too much about the price and do not rely on other's prediction. Besides, it always better to make your own analysis of the condition of the market and about price movement. Seems you already worry about the sudden drop of bitcoin on 9,600$ and right now it bounces back at the price of 10,100$. There's nothing to worry about the price of bitcoin because in the next couple of months you can see more improvements to its price and the halving will bring more changes. Don't let your guard down and be prepared for all sudden changes because it's a great opportunity to enter and exit. Make sure you will never put yourself in a situation that because of panic you will end up on selling all investments that you have funded. Just remain positive and control your emotions and don't be weak handed people.

Doubly marked, and I did see philipma1957's response--I'm not superstitious myself, but in this case I hope he's right.  And considering bitcoin is around $10250 at the moment it's quite possible.  If it does hit that price by 3/3, I'd sort of expect a nice little correction shortly afterward.

Speaking of philipma1957, I haven't see many videos from him lately on YT.  Always interesting to see the mining operation.

As far as I know, that day is by no means special - i think the post is actually a joke - 3 day in the third month of the year = $11 111, looks nice

I was actually looking the international calendar in Google to find a special event/holiday that falls under March 3rd, but I cant find any significant numbers that correlate Bitcoin and the number 11,111 lol  or maybe I missed something?
Anyway, It's really good to see that figure, but It's sad to say Bitcoin just fell down hard again lossing around $600  only in a few hours. Still, I'm positive for Bitcoin to be traded in 5 digits figure anytime soon.

Bit of sell, worth updating the chart in a more macro way.   As per normal we bounce off the sides of the range most immediate and it cant be said for sure if we will will actually continue to sell or regain and move higher from here.   Have to watch careful and mark the averages and all sorts of indications possible as to trend, etc.



Blue line is a rough weekly average and the yellow is our monthly count, quite significant and to move lower this has to be marked off and confirmed as a ceiling.   So we must trade below it before the weekend really to be more sure of a negative cycle beyond immediate short term.   I do think we have lost the positive trend for 2020 that we did have, that should in my reckoning mean we get more selling then this but this is not yet proven.

@techptcl786 no one knows the correct answer to this question as half the people out here will claim that bitcoin prices will fall, and the other half (including me) will claim it’ll rise therefore you should do your own research and then share your conclusions with us.

Furthermore I feel you should try and find the answers to these questions: 1) what was the reason that bitcoin prices suddenly fell, 2) what are the upcoming events in the crypto market that’ll have a effect on bitcoin prices, and due to these events who’ll take over the crypto market the bulls or the bears?

@philipma1957 can you explain why you feel bitcoins prices will break the $11k barrier so soon?, because currently bitcoin prices are falling and halving event is not even round the corner?.

Price has gone sideways in sum total, been more positive then I thought tbh.   Its fair to estimate we see a level price overall when not in a trend, either negative or positive trends with the 3rd option is drift sideways.   I estimate most of 2020 is towards neutral more then most would like.   Then 2021 I will hope to have optimism ready for a larger move justified on a multi year basis.
