Sometimes I forget that of all my achievements with crypto over the years, people still think of me as a collector in spite of me collecting nothing but Casascius coins as a form of cold storage.  A vast majority of my time has been spent on development that nobody here ever sees or is aware of apparently, and keeping funds safe for users here.  Sure, I've been involved in selling precious metals longer than I've been in Bitcoin and I did make a few coins as a fundraiser for a project I help work on.  I don't think of myself as a collector though.  Project manager, sure.  Developer, a bad one maybe but on par with the likes of most active here.  Collector?  Not something I do.  All in good fun though.  I know how much people here love to group themselves to attack others.  I'm just not one of them.

Allow me to suggest a new Gang: The Italian Brotherhood [...]

The Italian Brotherhood
Supreme Leader: fillippone, which is involved also in other shenanigans with Merit Cycling Club
Known members and adulators (wannabees): gbianchi, giammangiato, bitbollo, turtlecute, conilmionome, Paolo.Demidov, babo, Plutosky, hymperion, duesoldi, mendace, creep_o, Lillominato89, and the rest of the clan.
Reputation: in my opinion, the greatest brotherhood can be found inside Italian board. This gang looks so fearsome that even The Supreme Leader of The Thick-Skinned Gang said it's scary.
Activity: more research needed. The gang was just exposed, by an accidental mistake, and now it needs to be investigated properly in order to find out what interests its lieutenants have.
ANN: none.
First mention: February 4th, 2034, 16:40:34, when LoyceV exposed them (most likely, this was possible due to a fatal mistake of their leader, which mentioned their local mafia in plain sight).
Misc: their war cry is the following one: "3,2,1 all’ Italian mafia… si accettano scommesse…". In the end, wolwoo was right when he said that "the forum is run like a family, like the Corleone family"!

Can confirm. I'm like 6% Italian (on my brother's side) and that's the way I've always done it. Also, if you want a real taste of Italy, try putting pineapple on your pizza, that's sure to get you some nods from the traditionalists (and maybe even a "squisito!").

You need to loosen up a little, everyone knows you are a trusted escrow, though I have never seen you doing anything other than that, maybe that's because I never visit the boards you frequent. Being recognized as a trusted member is enough of an achievement one could possibly reach given the nature of this forum.

I don't read this thread at all, (why would I? I'm not in a gang) but I can't help but wonder how many of the Chipmixer gangs and their chipmixer gang members are going to fall silent in the days, weeks and months to come?

That's a good question, and I'd been wondering about that myself--briefly.  I haven't checked the Services section or anybody's signatures, but I'd imagine all the old Chipmixer campaigners aren't going to give up on sig campaigns altogether.  Why would they? 

So if you wanted to do a little data analysis for yourself, you'd probably start by seeing who's applying to campaigns right now.  And even those who aren't might not have a significant drop in post count, since many of them are senior members who've been here for years and had been posting quality stuff well before Chipmixer.  Just my 2 sats.
