The target player is not an engineer or an economist, but a person on the street that still believes fiat is good and that we are fine with money controlled by the state.
When you decide to create a game, so the target surely the game lovers and a few people that may be interested in it. This is not a bad idea but I assume it won't involve significant numbers of people. Moreover, not all gamers always try a new game, some of them just play with their favorite games and stuck on them. So, how to handle this fact?

That was a good idea too that making a game is an excellent influence on the people, but still, it depends on the target audience. Sometimes when we are creating a game we should need to have a good quality of the game that educate other people or the user and next is to have beta testing to your target users so you can get a lot of information and data what do you need to do to manage your game. Also, it is better if we are aiming to the people who want to learn about the world of cryptocurrency or the bitcoin because some of the users don't mind if that is crypto because they will think it is just a standard coin or gold that need to be wasting in the game.  But we don't know that your game is the next future generation that promotes the crypto and you will get a lot of sponsors. If you want to have good feedback too, it is better if you consult a game developer also.

This might work.

It will be a lot of effort though but it might be worth the work if we could spread the good news.
Some people just cannot understand it without a background in new technology.
Using a game might be a good way for them to understand it in a shallower side of view.

Another thing that might work out is being seen by kids. The gaming industry is still going upwards even until now and  I think they might bump into this in the future. Thank you in advance.

Developing a game really need a huge effort and more understanding about bitcoin, that is why i would to see the game that you are developing by the end of your work. Educational game? Give up it up. The idea of making it a game is interesting, but using the format you just stated wastes the idea, like, completely. See here, games are interesting because they don't have to think much outside of anything related to the game. Look at how puzzles are solved in Tomb raider games, at detective games. Every piece of information needed is IN the game, meaning they don't have to reference it to others. If you want to use an educational game where players answer it base on answers that they need to find themselves, its kinda dead.

There's also the issue of format. Games are interesting because they give you novel ideas on how to move, analyze, and see the story of the game. It'd be a lot better if you actually use BTC as a form of medium to resolve problems, where the player is guided/instructed on HOW to use those BTC. Never use BTC as a core idea, use it as a medium to finish the game.

Games could really be possibly become the key on how to introduce and educate more people about bitcoin becausewe all know that games are very popular and many people are playing on it so that it may be really lucky on how we will introduce so many people about cryptocurrency and using bitcoin and what is the good and positive side or the negative side of this cryptocurrency i hope that on the near future there would be a game developer that will develop a game that educate people about cryptocurrency.

I also want the concept of a game for the people to be educated in crypto, as we can agree most of us plays a game with different types. Games are also fun, and it is can also easily influence kids nowadays. Just see how much game is watched and play by younger kids and the effects of it are effective. My nieces and nephews plays games with color matching and puzzles and it helped them a lot. I was also planning an Online MMORPG which crypto is somehow inserted. I am not a developer but I am a 3d artist and can help build a good game with good graphics.

What about creating a pool that generates bitcoin and who ever wins to the game could have the chance to earn bitcoin even little amounts? Though I consider the concepts already that is beneficial, this could be more effective when more people will play through the excitement of earning a bit of bitcoin.

IMO, having a game that educates people about bitcoin is quite better if we target audiences that is a millennial. Trying to push out someone that is quite old will just a waste because they mostly want to pursue reading articles instead of playing.

Your purpose is for someone who like to play game only, ?right? Maybe it is good, because as far as I know there is many gaming platform who use their digital money to buy something like guns and etc. The gamers will aware easily of it buy they just like it when they play the game never take any decision to take it in another place. But, it will be good, I support you to make this plan and maybe if you don't mind I will try your game platform first. I don't have a good imagination I need to assess it directly.

I like the idea, but building a game from scratch isn't easy at all.
If the game isn't entertaining enough, nobody would bother playing (even if it's really informative).
A game with asking and answering questions seems really boring.Kids and teenagers simply won't be interested into such game. Do you have any concepts about the game design?
Will you outsource this to a game developer?Do you have a budget? How do you plan to fund this project?

I don't think games are a good tool for educating adults about new concepts, they are time-consuming and distracting. You could use them to teach kids, but why would you want to teach kids about Bitcoin in the first place, it's not like they will be using it till they grow up.

Adults play games to relax and have fun, and educational games generally have poor gameplay, so I can't imagine such game being popular.

This was true, it is hard to compete with those competitive games out there especially they set a certain standard in that field. Maybe this was a good idea but I dont think it will be so popular, maybe it is possible if you atleast integrate some features you can see with those leading games.

I think the trick will be to not target game lovers. Instead, I'll target some of those millions of people that have a coinbase account. They have put their money into some cryptocurrency. In theory, they will be interested in learning more about bitcoin.

Going through the discussion here, I am thinking maybe I shouldn't even call this a game at all anymore, but an educational app with elements borrowed from game design and gamification.

For example:

1. Complete the first task where you discover the emission schedule of bitcoin.
2. Get a screen that says, "Well done you are now at Level 1".
3. The user/player goes to the next screen where the conversation is about, "How do I actually use bitcoin? Do I need a special credit card?"
4. At the screen in 3., there is a text telling the player their current level. Something like:

https://www.cheatcc.com/imagesds/radianthistoria_0b.jpg

The levelling screen in 2. and the current level in 4 are the "game" parts here.

I would go with anonymity and privacy. As you said, the goal consumer of this game is just normal people that do not know what bitcoin or crypto currencies are and they prefer to keep their personal information to themselves. I think only a group of people will be interested in a story-driven game that you are planning if you ask me you should aim for something addicting, simple but addicting games. Though that would be hard to pair with anonymity and privacy, I don't know. Here's the thing, I played a game in the past where you buy something and while you leave the game the profit is going up and up. I don't remember that game but that is amazing since while you have a lot of money or profit, you could upgrade your house, your PC, your room, etc.

In that game, you could start the player as one wanting to mine bitcoin and maybe 100 to 200 sats are enough profit of it per hour. Then there is this upgrades in his PC where it would speed up his earnings or profit. He could upgrade his PC, his house, he can even buy a miner to more develop his earnings. He could switch to solar so he could reduce his payment in electrical bills. You could add a feature where a hacker can hack his computer, if you will be doing it online, you could match up to other players hacking their PC in that game with a simple mini-game. This is just an idea of mine, hope it gives you something helpful.

Some really nice feedback. Thanks. To be honest, I started last year to think about a bitcoin game that looked like what you are saying. However, I changed my mind over the year. I'll try to explain why.

The persistent online games you describe do make the game studios a LOT of money. When I set out to design such a game, I found it got very complicated for a game designer and even for players. I wanted something that my friends who are not into fantasy games to be happy to engage with what I am building.

The second game you describe, kind of exists, but I found it not informative at all. The description of them game calls it an "idle clicker".

There's another one that helps you build a mining operation. However, I think it focusses on one aspect of bitcoin.

In contrast, I really want to build a tool that solves the problem I have. The problem to let my friends understand at a high level, what is bitcoin and why bitcoin is such a useful thing to have.

There are games existing and played by many that you can learn knowledge that a certain person needs. For example, Scratch, A basic game that can make your programming foundation wider, This game is marketized for the kids because of its design but as an adult, it is helpful especially if you have zero ideas about programming. Op might make a game like this that makes a user easily understand how bitcoin works. We can't judge the project until we see how it works. Can we just support OP with his project especially we can use it to teach others and we might also gain knowledge from it.

Marketing is always a challenge.

My plan is to spread the word amongst people who know about bitcoin and want to help their friends and family understand bitcoin a little bit.

That is why feedback and game testing from people who know about a bitcoin, for example the people here, is important part of my development plans.

As a fallback, I plan to approach bitcoin exchanges and sell them the idea of making the game available to their users or use the game as a tool for acquiring new users.

The fallback plan is really a plan to use in case everything else fails. I would love to see the community finding the tool/app/game I am developing to be a useful thing.

I agree that you should really go with the story driven game but the problem is how would you stick people into it.

What are you actually planning? This is a hard project if you ask me since not all of the people would be interested in it especially in our country where the usual games are Mobile Legends and other online games. They stick into that kind of games and does not find other games that would entertain them. I suggest though a RPG game but that would be really hard to develop, you would be always busy with balancing stuffs and how would the story engage the use and information about Bitcoin.

Adults play games to relax and have fun, and educational games generally have poor gameplay, so I can't imagine such game being popular.

I don't agree with you. Games are one of the most powerful ways to actually conceptualize new things. I believe there were few studies made that proven that learning gamification is better than just scanning through some text or listen to lectures.
Second this one!! Games is one of the most time consuming nowadays specially in 3rd world countries (that basically most target of popularization of cryptocurrency) they can he knowledgeable about bitcoin by playing this games.

Also why do we need to stop playing games if we're adults?
I consider that as wrong interpretation of gaming because even that i am mature now still i love to play games and interested in playing this educational games.

A game that would teach others about BTC is a good idea but the difficulty would be sharing it with the people that need it most.

People on Herr already know about BTC at some extend so that hardest part of the project is reaching the right audience and getting them to play the game?

How do you suggest or how do you plan on doing this?

Marketing is always a challenge.

My plan is to spread the word amongst people who know about bitcoin and want to help their friends and family understand bitcoin a little bit.

That is why feedback and game testing from people who know about a bitcoin, for example the people here, is important part of my development plans.

As a fallback, I plan to approach bitcoin exchanges and sell them the idea of making the game available to their users or use the game as a tool for acquiring new users.

The fallback plan is really a plan to use in case everything else fails. I would love to see the community finding the tool/app/game I am developing to be a useful thing.
I really like your idea about educating other people more about bitcoin and blockchain technology by creating a game. Everything in this world is possible as long you are dedicated to it and you don't lose one's head by making other people fully understand bitcoin and blockchain.

BIG WINNER!

Now I remembered, thank you for that. In idle clicker though you need to tap the screen so it will give you profit. I don't know the other game but sorry to give you a unoriginal idea. If that is the case though, then you need a high story based game. How about something like an interactive story game where the player will be the one who will choose what happens to the story and the ending will also be based on that. I think you really need to stick in a story based games, so I think an Interactive game can be good too. I know some ero-games as an example like Summertime Saga and Love Esquire, sorry for that examples, that is the only games I could think of right now.

I must say that inclining gaming experience to the pursuit of Bitcoin is an innovative idea. Through integrating Bitcoin to what people love doing, gaming, their awareness of it could increased. However, it could possibly raise awareness and pique one's interest but it would be a challenge to give them the overview of the wholeness of the concept of Bitcoin. But nonetheless, this idea is creative and if developed accordingly, it would be a lot level of educating and spreading the word about Bitcoin.
