Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling?

I have no guts to try it but if you ever had it, I hope that you will reconsider the suggestion of people here that it's not actually a very good idea. Just be open about the what ifs.
What if you lose.
What if something wrong happens and you lose the money.
What if your friends find out that you used the borrowed money in gambling, will they be good with it?

For me, borrowing money in order for you to be able to play gamble was never a good idea. Even though your friends are willing to lend you a money and/or it is just an experiment. If you play gamble with the money that you borrow, the risk will be higher because if you lose you will now have a debt on that person. So, I think just play when you have your own money to use and not the other's money.

Well, I have never supported borrowing money to gamble but with the clause "if you are sure of your skill". I will come down a little bit by saying, since the risk is lesser by your surety.Take it. You know your worth before concluding your are sure of your skill. And if you loose, you have your confidence to blame.

I agree to that since what if you lose you? you will suffer from losing the money right? also you will get a problem for paying those debt so it will never be a good idea to borrow since it's a huge mistake for doing so, better gamble on what we have rather than extending our bankrolls on by lending it. But if OP insist better he do a physical study on what will happen in his action.

If your friend is willing and he also believes in your skill then why not just be sure that you will pay him on the agreed time and amount so you will not have a quarrel worst thing is losing your friend because of money and gambling, but if your friend does not know that you are into gambling and will use to gambling better forget it.

I think he just need to gamble more and more and determine if he is capable of winning but this is using a small amount only since when you are still studying or you are testing, you are not confident yet if you will win, you'll only take the risk if you are convince that you already have skills to cap games.

Exactly if you already owe it, you still have to pay it even if your gambling is inferior to the loan money, then I think that it is good before making the loan.
Use your cold money if you want to try to gamble, especially gambling is categorized as having fun so it's far from possible to win with that perception.

Are you sure that you will be gambling only with sportsbetting and you will never touch any luck-based gambling? I guess you will be having plenty of chances for not losing your entire bankroll with sportsbetting so that you will be able to make profits and then you can return back your loan amount.

But, when you are testing your luck in dicing kind of gambling, I highly recommend you not to go for loan for the reason of gambling. In my view, sportsbetting is not a gambling as it is a skill based one. For other than gambling, you may go for availing loan because you're not going to lose all your money at a glance of eye blinking. When there are possibilities for getting good returns then what is wrong in availing a loan?

Being overconfident is not good at all, even you believe in yourself that you could win in gambling, that is why borrowing a money just to gamble is a wrong idea because you might lose all of it and you also might not be able to pay your borrowed money. Great rule. Gambling is not a basic need that cannot be abandoned. Therefore, it is quite reasonable not to take extraordinary measures (borrowing money) and limit yourself to this activity. Even i am skillful in gambling. I am not that dumb to let myself borrow a money from a friend just to gamble because i could lose all the money that i borrowed, and i will not be thinking straight if i done it. I should just buy and spend the money that i borrowed on important things such as paying bills, foods, clothes or basic needs rather than fooling around and gamble all of it.

Even in my part, I will not borrow money just to gamble. If I dont have extra money I did not gamble because that is not my priority.
Borrowing is just like you are desperate to have money in a simple and easiest way but it is risky and probably very risky once you have lost everything but have still a debt from others because you had borrowed money. If somebody took this action, probably that gamblers need to be cured for the addiction he has before everything will make the worst and probably committing crimes are most commonly the outcome.

Do not do it, even if you are skilled enough to be a profitable gambler when you make sports bets this is not the right way to go about this, if you have a profitable system then just use whatever amount of money you have and if your bankroll is not enough to begin to gamble then that is not a sign to ask for a loan but to keep waiting until that is the case, take that time to keep honing your skills and become an even more effective gambler during that time.

This is never a good idea as always. Most times it doesn't end well that's why I won't advise anyone to do this. Don't gamble with what you borrowed or what you can't afford to lose. The house always wins. Better to save up your personal money and use it to gamble.
