I am on your SCRYPT-pool with 9 cards (R9 280x) @ ~730 Kh/s each.
P.S.: You've got mail.

Hi all!
Hi, is there any manual for beginners? Do I need to be an expert in computer to mine? What kind of equipment are needed, etc?

@igmaca: I think you should read and ask here how to start SCRYPT-mining. This is extremely off topic at this thread.

Hi, here is a rough profit estimate of my first day on hashrate.org: In 17.5h I got 414 Nxt. At current Nxt prices this equals 0.02484 BTC per 17.5h or 0.034 BTC a day. For comparison: mining at a BTC multipool (cleverming) would have given an estimated profit of 0.03619 BTC for the last 24h with my setup. So hashrate.org gave me 94% of the profit I would have got with a traditional multipool. The percentage might be lower because: - Nxt price increased by ~10% Or higher because: - pay out carry overs from hashrate.org could not be considered - accepted shares on clevermining were assumed to be 100% which is not realistic. hashrate.org gives approximately the same profit as a traditional multipool. Good job paradigmflux!

Great work PF. Good to see that your pool is doing so well! People need to take notice. Nxt has a fixed amount and since no more are being generated, the stronger your pool gets, the higher the price of Nxt will be pushed up.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011: "I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00. Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/" ...sigh. If only I knew.

2500 NXT paid out today alone! punkrock said he was approximately the same earnings as other multipools when this mornings payout netted him 413 NXT over 17.5 hours. In the 14 hours after that, his miners earned him 483 NXT! Come join the beta testing - 18 MH and counting. Payouts are happening two times per day! And thanks rlh!

Here is an update of todays payout on hashrate.org. I used the timestamps between payouts as the mining time. In 14h of mining between payouts I got 492 nxt. In one day this would give 843 NXT or 0.0555 BTC at current prices (cryptsy).
Factoring in my hashrate I end up with a profitability of: 0.00856 BTC/MH per day
For comparison traditional BTC multipool profitability of the last 24h:
- hashrate.org: 0.00856 BTC/MH per day - clevermining: 0.00550 BTC/MH per day - wafflepool: 0.00518 BTC/MH per day
Keep in mind that payouts on multipools vary greatly between days. I will stay on the pool and keep posting updates. So in the course of a week or two we should have a clearer picture. Anyways, the last payout was fantastic. Keep up the good work paradigmflux!
EDIT: Some considerations for your pool: I would do payouts only once a day at the same time. This helps keeping track on profitability and reduces lost fees by half. Don't waste too much time on the looks of the webpage, at least in the beginning. People only care for payouts. Same goes for transparency. However, if payouts are bad you will get shit from all sides. In this case transparency helps to keep miners calm. You should think about implementing a scrypt-N pool. With scrypt asics now starting to hit the markets, scrypt coins won't be profitable with GPU mining very soon. As for daily global pool stats something like: paid out Nxt, unexchanged Nxt, hashrate and Nxt/MH per day would be nice. And something similar for individual miner stats.

Duly noted, punkrock. I will update the page, and payouts will start happening every day in the early evening hours (Pacific time zone). To the miners on my pool who have received payouts - can I please ask a favor? Please go here and post a response to this post? IF YOU ARE FOLLOWING THIS THREAD OR MINING ON THESE POOLS
Please tell me how long you've been mining, which ports are you mining of and could you report a brief history of the payouts that you've received. How much Nxt and when they were received would be helpful.

which diff is better for 2.8Mh/s rig?
stratum+tcp://hashrate.org:3008 (for vardiff) or stratum+tcp://hashrate.org:3032 (for fixed difficulty 32 shares)

the 3008 is vardiff but the 3032 is fixed difficulty 32. if you plan on mining with us for a few days, the 3032 port is probably your best bet but if you're just checking out the pool for a short while, use 3008. Most people are using 3008, I just put 3032 and 3256 up because some people are picky.
