Buying low and selling high is an ages old strategy and it does not work in modern markets especially if you are an active day trader, the stretegy does work in longer time frames to some extent but then again you have to be sure of reversals.

Buying the dip has its bad side and that's unable to predict market movement You buy the dip, it goes dipper. You buy the high, it goes dipper, you convert to usdt, it starts surging ....I quit buying low selling high for now
this is one of the main rules in trading.buying low and selling high.but no one know that what is the low price or what will be the low price. If you don't know how to read the charts then it is difficult to know the dip even who knows how to read the charts they also failed to predict the dip.For you I have one suggestion don't buy any coin or token when crypto market is bleeding and pumping.Try to buy if you think that market is stable, maybe it will be helpful for you.
I want to ask you one thing,If Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful then which is successful? would you please tell me? because I am not agree with your statement.

For me, it's not easy by selling coins to get profit. I bought a high-priced coin, but Bitcoin has always declined. It also impacted altcoins, so I had a disadvantage. Bitcoin price changes in a few months are very difficult to predict. So you should also keep analyzing and buying coins when the price is completely below. And sell coins when you've got a profit.

That was supposed to be happening, but it is quite different from reality where weak hands will sell their coins especially when they saw declines and bad news. It actually dragging them down and can't think the right thing to do but to sacrifice and lose their money. It was so sad thinking how these people easily give up without considering the minds of others who would like to help them become strong and help them not to lose.

If we are a smart person, we must have to know also a word satisfaction and not being greedy always. If I could see I'm already profiting even just 1%, I sell my coins that time then buys back again when the market shows declines. That's all we need.

Actually this situation is totally matching to new coin which are listed in any exchange. For old coin still you have chance to buy any coin, only purpose is they are all in dip price. And you lost interest for new coin, if you can mention we could research on it. By keep doing from dipper to surge, you could make good profits.

It is not always easy to determine the entry point. I agree with you on this. But nothing is impossible. If you constantly study trading and improve your level, then your trade will bring you profit.

Getting profit really depends on your entry and exit points. And yes, it is hard to determine such vital points. But if the OP will give up easily, he will not learn his personal tricks to attack crypto trading. And also, if you are into trading of a specific coin, he should do some studying of that coin, check their social media channels, because you'll never know, you can get hints from the developers if they are selling or buying. Trading is not an easy task. It requires patience, time , and resources. So you should be ready to face these troubles when you are into trading.

Studying the trend for most altcoins might not be that easier as you think. When dealing with such, you should think of some risks that you might encounter. This is why my preferences is always with bitcoin and some other well established altcoins, because i know that no matter how much they dump, they will one day still come up and i will get back my money, if not additional profit.

Well, there are two ways to this thing and the first is intent.

Do you buy a coin because it is low in price  ?? so you can buy and keep and then start hoping for a higher price than your buying price?

Do you buy a coin because it once mooned and could later moon ? hoping, waiting and holding for a future price ?

If yes, then you are wrong.

You cannot buy every altcoin at the bottom and suddenly expect a boom.

You need to arrive at a conclusive pattern, research works that drives a chart and gives you what to expect about certain altcoins in few months, weeks, etc.
Only then can you buy low, and sell high conveniently.

Mere suggestion from me, kindly do your own research and make your decisions.

The personal preference is the light on the dark trading rooms but everyone doesn't have the same ROI at the end of the day. The ROI and risk tolerance level is the main determinants in the low market cap altcoins but as you said it can take months to catch the pump. Even executing the order is not guaranteed in the possible pump, so sticking to the plan is the one-way road for inexperienced traders.

It's not the wrong technique, but I think those of you who don't understand the market analysis technique well, and don't understand the risk that cryptocurrency is very volatile. Prices can change at any time, analysis can be missed, not everything can go as we expect. So you are mentally trained, your technique needs to be sharpened again, so don't give up, difficult circumstances will make you stronger.

People are getting confused to determine mine what will be the real strategy to buy low and sell high in the market. I do agree if that will always give a result in the successful progress. It's not only working in the long time frame but it's also working in the short time frame as we must be a smart trader to see any opportunity that gives by the market. It's still working right now and what you need to know to get all of the fundamental regarding the coin and be a smart person to use your stop-loss feature to determine the best bottom price to buy.

In my trade, both long and short term, I do this technique, buy at low prices and sell at high prices. This is very beneficial for me, and I profit a lot from this technique. It's just that in doing this technique you have to be patient with time. Because it could be that the price of a coin will be high after months. So don't sell if the price is still low.

It's easy to say buy at a low price and sell at a high price but I don't think anyone can afford it. Only people with long experience in reading market movements can do it and I think cryptocurrency is not the same as other investment markets because it's fundamentally different

That could be possible unsuccessful if you chose buy cryptocurrencies that are not strong in the market.  Personally,  I always prefer to buy alternative coins like ethereum and ripple. Nowadays,  there are a lot of altcoins that are running in the market, some of them are good to start buying and selling,  but most are not.  If you buy those kind of coins,  the possibility that your trade to lose is high,  even you bought it on a cheap price,  you still cannot guarantee that you can sell that on a higher price that you prefer.

~
I had the time to watch an interview with a stock market trader for 3 decades already and he said this.
"In my 3 decades in the stock market trading, I didn't bought the dip even once because nobody knows when a stock is at its dip."

This is a sign that nobody knows the dip. Even the professional traders doesn't know when the dip. That is why there are indicators that can help you in trading although it is not 100% sure that you will win in every trade if you use them. "Buy low, sell high" strategy doesn't work in trading because if it is that easy then there must be no losers in trading right now. Technical and Fundamental analysis will help you and not that shit strategy.

From my perpective buying low selling high is a good option to make some money on crypto. Maybe you pick the wrong coin to invest in. Change to other coin like ETH maybe you can gain some money from there.

If only it is as easy as it sounds, Most of the people when you ask them how to trade the only answer that you would get is buy low sell high,
I am also one of those who give that answer since I don't really have much time and it is hard to explain.
And it isn't always that way there are some crypto that you could buy at a high price but would also continue to go up.

yes very well said crypto market is different kind of a beast.   You can't compare it with traditional market. Most of the Quotes and strategies from stock market doesn't work well here. Talking about RSI its not that simple ...even the pro traders suffer one of my friends was in gold trading and he had setup a portfolio with a pro trader in the beginning (earlier this year) he was enjoying steady gains for about 3-5 months but then market conditions changed and  now he is out with some losses.
