If you are going to do the buy low and sell high principle, I would suggest that you better do it on the coins that is one the rankings since those coins has the ability to rise up or cope up after the price drop of it. Unlike those coin that is not on the rank, they will have a hard time to do an comeback since they do not have that much supporters.

I guess you just made a wrong action by just letting the time passed without knowing what happens next. If you are buying in a dip and your order was filled, you should not let the time passed by, without any update on the market situation in the next couple of hours, you should have a notification in your phone regarding the price fluctuation particularly the crypto that you hold, I don't believe that the market continued to dive without interval. the lesson to learn from my own mistakes is don't after on a big profit it may affect your decision as a trader.

Many people there which is same with you including me, a few day ago when the most altcoin were increasing I collect some altcoins as much as I can especially on TRON, at least I have spent $500 to buy Tron and till now I was late to sell them because its price has decreased. Now, I'm deciding to hold them for at least to avoid a lot of lose, I will sell them when I got profit although it is small.

You may need to have more patience when you find this situation. If you can't control it I believe you won't be benefited even you will always lose when you try start buying some coins. So, don't make any stupid decision because hold is more important when you are losing some money. And you can take this situation as a learning in the future, because the cryptocurrency movement price will be a little same.

And you forgot about the being patience part to make profits,you can't expect the buy low and sell high strategy work for everyday it needs a complete cycle to make the real profits so buy the dip and just forgot your coins then comeback when you are seeing huge bullish trend on cryptomarket to make money.

When BTC reached 10,200 for example, I sold some of my coins because I know that when reaches some round price (10k) or a price that we are not seeing for some time, a dip will come for sure, and then I buy again in the 9,600 USD, so I won some satoshis

I have been following one of my tokens under ERC20 by now and it had been looking good. But, I said to myself when Ethereum goes down then my ERC20 token will need to rise.

Sure, how do you know the exact market situation? How do you know when the price is right to buy? All is theoretical for buying low and selling high. But when you put it into practice, it is very difficult to apply. So giving up such investment is an entirely accurate plan. You should have a better and clearer investment strategy

That's why you're advice to develop an investing strategy that has to do with buying your coins in section or fraction as the case may be. Assuming you intended Investing $10,000 when the next correction occurs, you don't go all in immediately instead divide your capital into fraction like 4 places (that's $2,500 each) as this will present an opportunity to buy at any new all time low the market achieve until you exhaust your capital.

I don't see any bad side of buying the dip unless you're the type that isn't patience enough to wait for the market to yield you profit. If you do your research well you won't get caught in bear trap.
