Plus your reasoning

Sold 1/6th of my bitcoin a few days ago at about 8800usd - because i believe
- Corona just has started in EU and USA, it will become like Italy / China (more and more cases, quarantines..)
- Meaning bad news at least for the next month

But i already feel fomo again.
Cause i think gold and bitcoin will be a good call in recession.
And i believe in recession and more money printing.

I have all my fiat now in buy orders from: 8400usd - 7500 usd

I want to be all in before btc goes over 10k usd

I speculate there will be at least one big drop in stock market and take crypto down a step with it.

Isn't it better to accumulate more BTC instead of selling some of it? Unless you really need it but technically, you shouldn't have to unless you have made a large sum of profit with that. There are a lot of speculation using different technical indicators that suggest there would be another big drop before having the one we want, the bull run that would go higher than the ATH.

We all want to all in when we feel our speculation is going to happen but it's mostly biased, IMO.

I have post orders around 8600 (long) and hopefully would go over 9000!

So, if you are not eg 95% of all your money in bitcoin, you do not follow your own advice?

I was too all in. And a pandemic is too much risk to have no cash in my opinion.

You have a long starting at 8600usd?
I don't long or short, i just buy or sell

Your orders between $7500-$8400 might hit however there is no real proof that BTC will be a good call in a recession and there is also no real proof that a recession is going to start due to this CoronaVirus.

The reason why the markets took a huge dump last week was because everybody knew earnings seasons would disappoint and when earnings are lower than projected then stock prices fall, hence the sell-off. This was a given however since most goods are made in China and they haven't been working for the last month or so.

However I highly doubt that Coronavirus will lead to a recession, most likely in a few months it will either get contained or there will be some vaccine produced for it. Currently last I heard they are doing some trials on a vaccine.

I think the markets already priced that in and are now recovering: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228206.msg53953044#msg53953044

It's expected the pandemic will spread, but the impact is still much smaller than a typical flu season. Big deal! I think we will see a recovery in world markets similar to Q1 2018 or Q1 2019.

But i already feel fomo again.

I feel the opposite. Bitcoin wouldn't fare well in a recession. Lucky for both of us, I doubt recession is hitting yet.

Don't wait around forever. Often times that "one last dip" never comes.

I've already been dip buying for the past several days. $8K was possible but now that BTCUSD has formed a daily bullish engulfing, I'm doubtful. We tested support (the 20-week MA) and now broke above resistance (the 200-day MA). I think the bottom is already in.

it still remains unrelated to bitcoin price. of course it might have contributed to the drop just like any other drama would but even without it price would have still fallen, maybe not below $9k but the fall was expected after multiple tries to break the resistance failed. keep in mind that this is not a new thing, it has happened hundreds of time in similar situations.

But i already feel fomo again.
the market has been ready for a big FOMO for some time now and the more time passes the more it will be built up and eventually become a lot bigger.

i disagree. stock market has never had any real effects on bitcoin price and it is not about to change now either. and altcoins don't give a shit about other markets they only watch bitcoin and whenever bitcoin goes up or down they get dumped.

If you are afraid of missing an opportunity, then why not venture on the safe side? Betting on facts that everyone knows will not cause the price to rise.
The reasons you mentioned will not make any sense to make the price rise or fall, but what really gains is what are unknown reasons that others do not expect.
The price is in the range of $ 10,000, so it is possible that we reach that level, especially since we found strong resistance levels. Do not forget that the recovery in the first quarter of this year will push the price to higher levels during the coming months.

If you do not want to take a risk, divide your money into many parts, invest half of it in Bitcoin, others for Gold and Altcoins, paper money ,...etc.
