All of our presidents, teachers, professors and admin in this forum became a good listener before and even now. A good leader is a good listener, as per beginner out there, do not worry. All of the of those persons that have a high rank here also became like that. We are all came from being so innocent from this forum, experience is the very best thing that we should have for to become a better person, we should read some threads here, which is very helpful for us to gain so much knowledge, and also you should a good listener, all of the leaders in this forum or even in the real world, became a good listener as well, we should be like that if we are still a beginner because if we have that kind of characteristic then for sure we will become successful in the future.

Based on my assumptions about good listeners in the OP above are all users who have positions (Moderator, staff and others) in this forum and the ranking in this forum is that they are good listeners so they are worthy of their current position and ranking. Just because the way the OP says it is incorrect will make other users think it is wrong.

Newbie in my opinion are an important part of the forum and not all newbie are stupid, dont want to know, dont care about the rules and those who have quality posts will be highly valued by forum users. This merit system exists because theymos want forum users to post something of quality and so far I know many newbie will consider this system as a barrier to their ranking so they need the right guidance.
If a newbie is thirsty for merit but he is able to post something of quality then that merit is something that must be sent to him, but if they ask and complain about merit then I think it will only make a lot of people ignore it.

This must be applied in real life. If you are into a situation when a leader becomes bossy and doesn't teach and approach you properly, it's the mentality of being a boss.

It's the reality that being a leader includes the attitude of being a good listener. The application in real life is a must if you have been assigned to become a leader in a small team or department.

Well said mate, we should keep studying in this forum, learning is not obsolete we should adopt for every change in our life, this bitcointalk is excellent forum for gaining knowledge as well as earning money, but if you are still a beginner here don't need to think about the earnings first because if you mind that over knowledge then for sure, it will be so hard for you to become successful in this platform. Always listen to the old member of this platform because they already well experienced. Listening is the best way for you to learn something.

I am not talking about the admin of this forum, those president, teachers or professor are meant to be in the real world, so I am not only talking about this forum but also in the real world, try to analyze first the thread. There are some people here that have a friend with high-level rank, even me I have that kind of friend, so it would be better for us to listen to what they are saying. Well said mate, I don't know why he doesn't understand what I am trying to say on my post, those people around you can be a big help for you, primarily if they are really known for that thing, or if they have more experienced. Experienced is the best teacher as what other says, it is really true because we learn so many things based on what we have the experience, yes there are times that we lose on our experience. Still, for me, it is not a hindrance for you to stay on that part, you should consider it to motivate yourself to achieve what you want to do or to make.

Others take my post literally, so they do not understand what the real point of it, which is really bad for them is, they don't read it carefully, so they ended on commenting arrogantly, sorry for the term but it is somehow that way.

Listening is really important. To gain knowledge and experience, listening is a must, and talking more means just practice and application of the same knowledge and hence, talking more won't gain you much knowledge rather than halting the process of gaining it by listening. Indeed, it's truth.

Well said mate, you should be a good leader not only in this forum but also in real life, actually if you apply it in a real-life it would be really better because if you are listening well to the others, you will gain so much information that you may use to become successful in the future, there are a lot of ways for you to become a good listener, first is listen before you talk, you should wait for the person who talks to you to end his or her statement before you speak, and don't judge immediately to the things that he or she says.

Being a good listener enriches your understanding and your relationship with the community, there are a lot of people that you can see in the community, and some of them are meant to help you. Most of them will try to pool you, so be observant and choose those people that are good for helping you to become a better person.

If you want to be a good leader you have to listen to others people's problems and try to understand their needs.
Only by doing so, you are going to be in a position to solve their problems. Otherwise, leadership is not effective as it doesn't focus on the real problems but on theoretical ones.

Just remember. Good listening is only the first step. The next step is to understand what everything heard really means, and where the people really are. After that comes the part for manipulating the people.
