Since the market is getting wider and more opportunities are coming for affiliates and marketers, I would like to collect some important notes for starting point, in case you like to take part in this market. Becoming an affiliate or market any casino operators is beneficial, but risky.

I would place one note, hope the audience will continue ( with explanations )

Never market any operator before you are aware of its internal marketing capabilities.


The reason is very simple, when you send the traffic you like players to be accommodated, entertained, to get promotions, offers and to keep on playing. If they are not getting emails, special offers, have support and get VIP style communication - its a mutual lost of your traffic.

Mutual loss of my traffic as well as they will never listen to me again as our relationship will never be the same after that incident 'in terms of asking about where to gamble'. One other thing I would like to add to your notes is that I would definitely look for the casinos that are provably fair and have great backend and frontend teams that will deal with any issues to give us the best experience online. I will also DMOR before sending my traffic to any casino just in case that casino has complains against it and it is not resolving them quickly, I would prefer not to play there and also not to send my referrals there as I do not want them to get scammed.

That's already a common and basic approach.

Being affiliated in a good and reputable company should always be prioritized on the table. We need to build trust in all people that's why lots of factors should be considered before grabbing the opportunity to market a certain project, sites, operators, products, etc.

Remember that we aren't just marketing them but also for ourselves as well.

Agree on reputation, but remember that high values operators can disappear one day and it happened more than once in the past.
Affiliates do not know much about internal marketing and meaning of community, for them is sending the player and get CPA or refresh the NGR, this is why I believe its the top important point.

Reputation of the brand in general - yes, of course

True. The users who find themselves visiting the website has to find something worthwhile at least that will make them register.  Its important that they aren't just prompt with a CPA form and sign all the information they have. Users today aren't even lured to signup for free spin.

risky on the side of the owner  ? but why ? when the purpose on why they do it is to have more costumers  . having alot of customers is not risky but its the best part for a gambling business because owners are still sure that they can win most of the time  . its also hard to gather people using referal   . i know someone before that create his own account and refer himself , just to increase his earning but those earning are still useless because he is a degen anyway  . those earnings will still comeback on the gambling site  that his playing with

If we see the company is briefly telling its marketers everything about the information of what's the product or service, providing a good and reasonable salary, all terms are explained to them especially the legal terms, etc. , we can fairly assume that they have quite good internal marketing capabilities. Not sure about crypto-gambling sites but that's a common basis I know for a product or services outside crypto in general.

Another one, if we see a company itself directly buying a piece of space in most reputable and famous sites, crypto-related or not, on which their hired marketers are having difficulty making a deal or it requires a decent cost. We can conclude that they are serious about this marketing stuffs.

Why would proceed if you do look that they arent capable enough on giving out those common user needs?

Of course you should really at least be concern on the site that you are marketing into rather than wasting up your time and effort into things
which most likely to be failed because of those lacking factors.

Affiliating isnt easy but there are still people who are really into this.

Answering the main question here - how you know the company have internal marketing capabilities?

That's not too hard, we use the following methods

1. Chatting with online support to learn if they are passive or active on offers and promotions
2. Engaging on 2-3 social media channels and see the tone of voice

Opening a player account, repeating 1+2 with account user name +
3. Collecting emails for 30 days, to learn the offers for non depositors and free promotions
4. Collecting SMS / WhatsApp / Viber notification

( Using new email account, also to see if there is cross selling of the players data )

Opening new player account making a deposit and wager some, repeating 1+2+3+4

Maybe a bit long, but if you wont make sure the traffic you sent is highly appreciated, you will lose

Since the market is getting wider and more opportunities are coming for affiliates and marketers, I would like to collect some important notes for starting point, in case you like to take part in this market. Becoming an affiliate or market any casino operators is beneficial, but risky.

Never market any operator before you are aware of its internal marketing capabilities.


The reason is very simple, when you send the traffic you like players to be accommodated, entertained, to get promotions, offers and to keep on playing. If they are not getting emails, special offers, have support and get VIP style communication - its a mutual lost of your traffic.



You could lose your reputation if you are going to market a gambling casinos that you have not done a research if they are capable to sustain their project features, but it's different when you are going on a signature campaign, but as an affiliate you need to protect your recruits because this recruits are also your recruit for the next project that you are going to promote.

Being affiliated in a good and reputable company should always be prioritized on the table. We need to build trust in all people that's why lots of factors should be considered before grabbing the opportunity to market a certain project, sites, operators, products, etc.

Remember that we aren't just marketing them but also for ourselves as well.
Yes, only up to the point we may work hard to bring people to a casino whereas keeping them as a repeated gambler purely belongs to the casino's policy and level of care about developing their business. But, I guess we can easily choose such good casinos for our affiliate things. I work hard for getting more referrals for freebitco.in and they do have lots of promotions regularly which makes myself and my referrals happy to stay with them.

A starting point for affiliate programs must require same level of due diligence what requires for investing big money to a new business.

That's why we should try their services before promote, it will more objective to giving reason why people should join or not?. Most of us just promote without know what the product and who the real audiences we should take, money always become the main reason. We have responsibility about information we share, give the truth and never hide something from audiences, let them decide don't push them to join.

True, this is why i published the steps we are using, do you think it can give overall idea of the operator ?

. Chatting with online support to learn if they are passive or active on offers and promotions
2. Engaging on 2-3 social media channels and see the tone of voice

Opening a player account, repeating 1+2 with account user name +
3. Collecting emails for 30 days, to learn the offers for non depositors and free promotions
4. Collecting SMS / WhatsApp / Viber notification

( Using new email account, also to see if there is cross selling of the players data )

Opening new player account making a deposit and wager some, repeating 1+2+3+4

Interesting. So you basically want the customers you bring to casinos to continue to earn you some income with well designed affiliate system and good game. Well, I hope this is for good skill-based gambling your affiliates are good at, so they don't get stuck in loses while you are earning from the loses... unless you are only hoping to earn one time from each affiliate, which is safer in my opinion.

The iGaming market is different these days with a lot of security and high level of responsibility from the operators side.
Emergency button, stop game popups and limitations.
Affiliates wants their players to have the entertainment they paid for and want to make sure they are accommodated, is this happened - thats already win win
