Thinking and calculating how much you have totally lost in gambling might give you a knock in your head if you truly want to recover from your addiction and quit gambling.

There are several methods and you have to choose what's the most comfortable for you.

This is not the best way to quit gambling.
Sometimes, calculating your losses lead you to gamble even more in order to recover them.
And this activity puts you in a vicious cycle that you cannot escape.
Correct, this also possible and it will only brings you to more depressions and it will lead you to play more in order to recover those losses.
Instead of keeping you away it will gives more aggressions to try your luck once you have money to use.
The best way is to have a self will and consider all those mistake and move forward.

seeking professional help in these cases is a must do.

but adding to that some lifestyle changes can also help a lot

going out in the sun
exercising daily
stopping to eat junk food
cultivating good and loving relationships.
talking to friends
finding purpose on life (a business? a personal project?) out of gambling.
swimming on the ocean
doing saunas.

this kind of stuff that makes life much better.
it always help, in all areas.

I prefer to do some lifestyle changes, as you suggest. Maybe going out in the sun, talking to friends will help us to get another experience in life, and by talking to friends, we will also have a chance to meet new friends which can give more opportunities to have a new habit with them. We need to try hard to recover from being addicted to gambling. Otherwise, we will be in gambling without we know if there is still a chance for us to change.

It is about their own choice if they really want to recover. There is no other way or no one can help them but only themselves. Aside from that is their realization to go back into the right path. This is their only way to get out of being addicted to gambling.

2. List all things that were affected by gambling - if you can see all the things that were affected because of gambling then you may realize that it has no goods to give you, then I hope that it makes you think to stop gambling.
3. Read and Search about gambling addiction - if you can see all people that have been affected because of gambling then you may stop from being addicted on it, there are some people's life that already destroyed because of gambling.
4. Meet and visit experts or professionals about mental health - If you really want to limit yourself from gambling, but you can't then you may visit some experts and listen to their advise.

There are definitely many gamblers in the world, it means that gambling addiction is inevitable and spreading. There are many differrent ways to recover from addiction and It doesn't mean that if you recover from gambling addiction is you cannot play anymore. A lot of people saying everybody want to stop doing it but they cant because they are addicted but if you really have your goals and you really want it to be remove, with enough discipline you could easily remove your addiction in gambling for example. Under many circumstances their was just so many things that is attracting us to continue being addicted that is why we don't want to have a decision to stop it.

Keep trying to recover doesn't give you have more chances to get the money because the house will love to get your money's again. You should think about yourself and the rest of the money that you still have it. When you can think wise about what you can do with that money, I guess you will quit gambling for a while, and go out from that place while you can buy something that can reduce your tension after playing gambling.

It is not easy as we say, because I am sure many people already have their difficulty time to stop gambling. Many of them still trying to stop gambling with hard because they don't want to become addicted to gambling.

Well i think everyone can still recover even if they are become very addicted to gamble, the only thing to do is to put oir selves or fucos into our family, hang outs bonding take some times together and make self busy, i believe that it is all up to  us and we really need to control our emotion so that we can do think everything in a right way.

It finds myself very hard when you are in that stage (addiction) to get out from the hell. And the one thing that could help to heal that addiction to work for another stuff in order to have no time to go to the casino but rather to spend on our job. But fo course, it can't be an instant...The healing process may take for a while until we finally control ourselves from being addicted.
You must know there are some drugs that can help you to fight your gambling addiction. I don't remember their exact names but serotonin reuptake inhibitors, opioid antagonists, and mood stabilizers are used for that.
Drugs have side effects on your health right? Tho, it's a great use to avoid compulsive gambling.
Here are the possible outcomes of those drugs:

  • dizziness, loss of coordination, fatigue, tingling, burning, blurred vision, insomnia, and vivid dreams.

The best solution is to ask for help on your family, they're the ones that might help and give you a lot of attention so you can get over on gambling addiction. Sooner or later, you'll realize the main problem and will understand the situation you're facing. Antidepressants are also applicable but should be taken moderately to avoid side effects.
I disagree with that. (real) gambling addiction is like drug or alcohol addiction, you can't just ask your family or your friends to help you. It's naive. You have to see a doctor to cure that.

Without the help of family, it turns out to be a one-way road for reaching the disillusioned life. In drug or alcohol addiction, the dip points are about health issues but in gambling addiction cases, gambler can go to bankruptcy.

Yes you're right there are no health issue in gambling addiction, only mental and financial ones. That's why people underestimate it and think it's not as difficult as drug, alcohol or cigarette addiction to drop it.

Thinking and calculating how much you have totally lost in gambling might give you a knock in your head if you truly want to recover from your addiction and quit gambling.

There are several methods and you have to choose what's the most comfortable for you.

This is not the best way to quit gambling.
Sometimes, calculating your losses lead you to gamble even more in order to recover them.
And this activity puts you in a vicious cycle that you cannot escape.
Correct, this also possible and it will only brings you to more depressions and it will lead you to play more in order to recover those losses.
Instead of keeping you away it will gives more aggressions to try your luck once you have money to use.
The best way is to have a self will and consider all those mistake and move forward.
No one should ever chase your lose as if you will chase your lose you will always remain worried about it you give will only get tension so just relax and try to reduce your timing for gambling. You should spare time for your family and playing other games. If you feel addiction then stop for while and play later with fresh mind but never spend more mondy just to recover your previous lose.
