There are thousands or even millions of people around the world have been in engaged with cryptocurrency and it is continueing to grow as we go forward to for better technology evolution. Even bigger personalities, experts, and investors are now into crypto and see it as a big investments. You're right indeed. On top of that we should consider fact that fiat money are probably more involved in criminal and scamming activities than cryptocurrencies.
However since it is a relatively fresh field of knowledge people sleep on securing their funds and trying to take as much profit as possible.

It's our choice if we didn't check before investing/joining campaigns. On the other side of Crypto, its still the best time we got today. Market is still down, its best time to invest while its still low. Find projects that worth your time and don't be lazy on reading projects before joining. Scammers made this entire forum a real shit, unless they are alive we can't blame any projects this is my personal thought. They are the one who announce fake ICOs or initial coin offering as a way to steal our funds or our hardwork, especially exchanges play a key role to make it a real disaster. However let's hope scam issues will get resolved in near future.

The scamming will continue for as long as there will be naive newbies who believe that they can invest in "good project", and it seems there's still plenty of such people. Nowadays most people know about the dangers of shitcoins, ICO scams, pump and dump and so on, but somehow they believe that they posses the skills to avoid it. and this is where they are wrong. Ever heard of Decentralized Exchanges man? DEX's for short. There's a TON of FAKE volume on the bigger exchanges, bots wash trading like crazy.

It really showed you have been hurt although I might wrong as this write-up might be from our own views. First I would say, the entire market isn't fraudulent but the number of fraudulent coins, activities, unfriendly practices and activities from exchanges is nothing to write home about as it is really much. Most exchanges are now know for pump and dump, some now scam, most new projects offers nothing but only after money and the list goes on. In my own opinion, it is better to stick with Bitcoin and may be one or two altcoins starting with ETH, with these at least one can have peace of mind.

Well typically people who hate crypto is a loser, they cannot accept the fact that crypto is getting bigger than the conventional currency that we are using and always think that it is a kind of scam and unreal. People be scared yet starving to profit a gain lol. One of the reason why the market is down today because of this, from panicking and pulling out after the expectation of them to the price didn't go right. But we cannot blame the ignorance, we just need to educate them.
