[CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity

As promised to my fellow local board member few hours ago, here is the brief overview of local boards for May 2026. All charts and table are made using data
The last but not the least, the list of the most active local board members. Numeral (137) and jokers10 (1310 from Russian local board were the two most active memebrs in local board, while last month's top poster joker_josue has (125) to satisfy with the 3rd spot

I still came in at the top three...

Thanks Rikafip for another very interesting analysis.
It's great to see that our activity, number of posts and active members on local boards is growing, and I hope we will see a larger number of shared merits.
Our local king slackovic has been a little lazy lately and is only fifth in terms of number of posts on our local section. I hope he will soon ''get serious'' and return to the top, and for now I'm happy that I have replaced him at the top. 
Sir John, congratulations to you too for your activity and important contribution.

That's the smallest amount of merits shared in a month in the whole of 2026. Perhaps if I looked throughout 2025, I wouldn't find such a low number there either.
Back in January the monthly merit count was almost 10,000. We are pretty far from that right now.

Despite the drop, I think that merit/post ratio is still good enough. Well, at least on the majority of boards.

Lol! Over 4k posts in a month is actually astonishing  

It is a lot when you compare it to other boards, but 4k is nothing when you compare it to forum's golden days, when Russian board went much higher than that. Below are monthly numbers btw.

Just by looking at the graph, I can imagine what I have done to the local Bangladeshi people. I have exposed an entire alt farm, and now all of them have disappeared. This is why the performance of our local community dropped drastically over the last few months. I know these people have already created new accounts and are probably contributing to other local boards, or have decided not to engage with any local community anymore.

You did what you had to do, and I wish some other locals do the same and clear their mess.

Its time for yet another brief overview of local boards activity, and this time for June 2026. All charts and table are made using data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and Bitlist.

Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Bengali) don't have their own local boards yet, but are part of this overview anyway.


Post activity per local board during June 2026

During June, 13659 posts were written across 18 local boards, which is a small decrease compared to May numbers (13781). No change at the top 3: Nigerian far ahead, followed by Russian and Turkish local boards,  while Pakistani overtook German board at the 4th spot.

I wonder what are Pakistani members missing in order to get the local board, since their numbers are strong month after month, and its going on for years.

Active members per local board during June 2026

1290 members wrote at least one post in one of the local boards, and is a small decrease compared to month before, as during May 1322 members were active. Nigerian board once again had more than 400 active members, while Russian board was far behind with still respectable 282 members. On the other side of the chart, the usual names- Romanian and Greek, and Bengali is slowly joining them.

When it comes to the percentage of members who wrote only 1 post in their board during last month, the leader is Greek board with 62% while at the same time Pakistan had only 13% of such members.

At the 2-9 posts bracket leader is French board with 56%, while Greek had 12% members.

Regarding the 10+ posts bracket, the leader is Croatian with 50%, and French board had no members who wrote 10+ posts. 

Merit shared per local board during June 2026

During June, 6573 merit was sent across local board, making it decrease compared to May, during which 6655 merit was sent. Even though there was a small decrease compared to month before, one big board had a huge increase, and that is German board that went from 489 merit in May to 1267 in June.

Merit/Post ratio per local board during June 2026

In June, an average merit per post across local boards was 0.48, exactly the same as in May. This time Italian board had the highest ratio, followed by German and Romanian locals, while Greek dropped down to a very low 0.03 merit per post.

525 members sent while 601 received merit in one of the local boards, whixch is not a big change compared to May (536 senders, 586 receivers). Needless to say,  Nigerian board is dominating this chart as well, even more than in previous months, while French is joining Greek board at the bottom.

Once again Romanian board is at the top of this chart with 59% of merited posts, while Italian is not that far behind with respectable 52%. And then we have Greek board where only 0.03 posts got merited (translated, 1 post).

The most active members per local board during June 2026

The last but not the least, the list of the most active local board members. After few months, joker_josue from Portuguese board is once again at the top with 153 posts, while jokers10 (138) and Numeral (128) from Russian board are at the 2nd and 3rd spot. Gj guys, keep it up!

I'm happy to see that I am on 4th place by post count on our local Croatian board I though that I'll have much lower post count during vacation but it seems that I still keep up

Activity in the forum seems to be challenged by adverse market condition and summer lulls.
People start for holidays, thinking about other stuff rather than writing on a forum (not me. I think about the forum more during holidays, as I have less stuff to do).

Incidentally, in this analysis, the slight emphasis on the low ratio of merits in the Greek board caught my attention.
Sometimes we look too much at the top and don't notice the opposite side. I had never noticed how low the measurements were in Greece.

There will be few of them here on the forum, or they "don't like" speaking Greek?

A slight drop in activity is probably expected given the summer and holidays.
I also support Pakistani members to get their own local board.
I'm a little surprised that I'm the most active member on the Croatian part of the forum again, but I believe that will change soon as our former champion returns from vacation.

If I am not travelling, I am basically every day on the beach, and while travelling, too many things to see and do.

There will be few of them here on the forum, or they "don't like" speaking Greek?

Maybe those active there can answer that, but their numbers were low ever since I started making these overviews 6 years ago.

I'm a little surprised that I'm the most active member on the Croatian part of the forum again, but I believe that will change soon as our former champion returns from vacation. 

Slackovic tends to slack during summer months, so enjoy while you can.

I am an old bloke. During holidays I have more time, as during regular times I have to ferry my grandsons to sport activities and stuff. During summer, less work: take them to the beach and to judo camp and that’s it!

Considering everything I am satisfied withcurrent state of our local boards, but there is always space for improvements.
Member who came back in forum few months ago is again on top with most activity, and he even defeated old king Slacko.
