As far as i can tell the nas network/chain is still working fine.
What's still needed are more nodes to secure the network and stabilize it.

In order to connect there are, unfortunately, some things to check:
- If you can't find any node you need to add some peers to the wellKnownPeers in the nas config (using tikers public node or the informations provides in this thread)
- Using the nas Version 1.1.3N2 may help, i think the known peers are added there
- depending of your nas database you may need to rollback to a previous state or start from scratch. The nodes/wallets and database from the exchanges (Poloniex and BTC38 as mentioned)  might have a state where connection to the existing network doesn't work anymore. (forks, broken DB, …)
Last time I checked, 1-1,5 month ago, starting from scratch worked perfectly when connected to at least one of the well known peers.

I'm not sure if poloniex even tried to connect/sync there node. I still have some nas there and till today they tell me that they send/transfered successfully the nas coins. But unfortunately I can't find  the mentioned Transaction on the network, nor did I ever receive the coins. On the withdraw page the transaction is still mentioned as successful and there are no nas left in my account.

@CryptoJohn:
What's your nas account? I could try to send you some nas.
Did your account worked before?
Is it a new account?

I have the same issue with Poloniex.

I also doubt whether they did ever try to resync with the current nodes. First time they sent to my NAS account that previously got payments from Poloniex prior to the fork, but failed. Second time I created a new NAS account that never used before, but also failed.

This leads me to presume that they are still on an old fork. Sad

I am still a big NAS stakeholder but I lost the trust into a positive development of NAS in the future. Why don't you think about of merging NAS with another NXT-based coin like HORIZON? It could be a good step to bring NAS ahead and the network will get stablizied too.

need some help friends getting my NAS off poloniex.

I emailed them the other day and requested they re-sync and re-enable withdraws which they did but my withdraws yielded errors.

Polo support has been very responsive, here is their latest:
Quote from: Poloniex Support
The error it's giving is "Unknown account." Do you have any addresses you have used before, or do you have the public keys for any of these?"

I have had the 0.2.2 wallet on my machine for ~6 months but never used it because polo said the chain was stuck.

could use some help :-)

thanks,
john

poloniex ? my nas disappear from poloniex for so long time ,i think when they take the nas from exchange ,then they delete all nas .

That's why they always announce it in advance so you can withdraw your coins immediately before they delist any coins in their exchange.

24 hours is not "in advance".  It's more like "ninja delisting immediately without any warning."  And even then, they don't email you or let you know except with a tiny notice on the sidebar that you can't even see without scrolling down the page.

Nope. What you said is common for many exchanges but not for Poloniex.

After coins get delisted on Poloniex, you should still be able to withdraw any time you want (as long as the blockchain is still alive).

I did successfully withdraw some other coins which were delisted there for around 1 year. All withdrawals went very smoothly and quickly. It seemed they don't stop the daemon after delisting.

That is why I feel a bit strange I cannot withdraw my NAS this time. Sad

NAS was a scam from the start, then big bag holders pumped it with shameful forum give-aways before dumping into the toilet. NAS initial distribution was one of the worst in crypto history, and that history can only hurt HORIZON, which probably has one of the best distributions in crypto.

Why should HORIZON flirt with NAS at this late stage? Stay away from NAS!!!

It was long ago, now NAS is abandoned coin waiting for anybody to lead it and I think we have no idea about the distribution now. But it is NXT clone, there's not much of them.

Hello,

Has anybody an idea, where my pending NAS could be?

I want to know and ask You once more about my Pending Deposits from NAS !!! Please find a solution to book back my NAS to my Poloniex-Wallet.

Ago in January 2015, I have send 40.219.400 NAS Coins from Poloniex to my Bter.com Wallet-Adress 14428818721433318587

NAS     40219400.00000000     14428818721433318587     2014-12-30 22:19:52     COMPLETE: 16157803257724534684

Since today there where no NAS Coins listet on my Bter-Wallet for NAS. The Process is already in Pending. Because WHY ?! And where are my Coins now?

Since today on BTER an BTC38 the NAS-Coins already be trade daily, with a Volume about 1000 Dollar or more a day. So I think, my NAS-Coins could not be in nirvana now ?! Someone must be support the NAS-Blockchain at this time, but where is it ?! How can I get my NAS-Coin back to my Poloniex-Wallet ?!

Here is the Answer from Poloniex:
Hi Frank, as soon as there is a block explorer up to date with the new chain we can attempt to update and sync the wallet, until then it is not possible to be sure we are on the right chain.

Thank you for your help ;-)

Best Regards from

Frank
