Comon guys! The coin is dead! Either there is something happend to the dev or he made a good deal and is working on a new project.

Lessons learned: Never invest in closed source coins Wink

Who knows... There are still many people buying into cheap altcoins with 1 or 2 satoshi and expect to get rich when these coins pump up

NAS is not one of the worst cheap altcoins out there. At least trades are still active and the blockchain is still alive. I've seen many other altcoins died immediately as soon as their devs were gone

I think the reason is, because the dev has not touched his coins. The coins are still on his account. Therefore, some people think he will come back some time. They buy coins at the minimum price. It's risky but when he really come back, they will have made a good deal. It is pure gambling!

Is the blockchain for this coin still reachable?

I don't know. All my NAS are on dgex and some are on the way. Can somebody do something? Will running winnas help? Maybe dgex owner can help?
It's very strange that the coin died. Somebody could just buy a lot of NAS at 1 satoshi and then revive the coin, lead it and get a huge profit. It is still on some popular exchanges and nobody against any ideas or moves.

And by the way, what does that mean:
http://www.btc38.com/trade_en.html?mk_type=btc&btc38_trade_coin_name=nas
Who's buying?

I don't know the answers to your questions.  I only just remembered that I had ran the NAS client and bought some coins back in April of last year, so I was curious as to the health of the coin.

Do you remember when was the last time you ran the NAS client?  If you run it now, do you connect to any peers?

My copy of the NAS blockchain is nearly a year old, and the two peers I have in my client's list are apparently no longer running the software.

If your blockchain is relatively up to date, could you zip it up and share it on mega (https://mega.co.nz/) or dropbox?  I'd like to take a forensic look at the NAS blockchain.

Thanks.

The last peer i've seen disappeared begin/mid January, no other peer seen/connected to since.

An relatively up to date blockchain could be downloaded from here:

Is NAS still traded on some exchanges?

Thanks man!  Much appreciated.

Is NAS still traded on some exchanges?

Yes, unfortunately.  There are still people with sell orders on Bter and BTC38.  Although it seems the last trade on Bter was a month ago (12-20 22:36:23 Sell 0.00000001 4521570.000 0.04522.)

P.S. You might want to take a look there:
