The basic solution in times as this for traders is to Hold their/your capital in fiat or stable coin then wait patiently, then you get into the trade after there has been few more rekts or tokens has reached the bottom.

What do you think? Is it a smart move at this time?
Yes i think this is the best way to do this time of bear market to convert your crypto into fiat or stable coin but also  make sure you have a plan on when to buyback your crypto again, as we all know the decline of price is possible also of whale market manipulation and if it is true there is a chance of sudden pump of price any time soon (hopefully) hope you will not be left out.

If you have more money then keep buying good coins, if you don't just hold your coins, only the weak hands will sell off their coins right now due to panic, fear of crypto will never recover again, some are even saying it's time that crypto will die

I usually make my investments long-term. And so i continue to keep my coins when the prices in the market dump, and i am also trying to expand my portfolio by purchasing high potential coins in the low market.

What tobdo when price is dump?Well depends on the situations,if you are holding a coin and price is dump, then there is nothing to do but to wait for the pruce to pump.On the other hand,if peice is dump its also a great opportunity to bag some coins and wait it to pump to gain a profit.

But when you keep holding your coin expecting a bounce in the price and the price goes on decreasing furthermore, you would have no options left.
I bought bitcoins at 8.5K, didn't sold them when they reached over 10K and now they are down to 6K. What use would be to sell them for stable now.
I'd rather love to see them get a value of zero than selling them for a loss.
Definitely, you have nothing to do but wait. It is really disappointing to see but the market always meant to be like this. We don't know exactly what will happen next and we feel that we are not lucky this time but hopefully in the next days.

Last day, we've been turning back to $5.6k but it drops again today $4.6k. This dropping scheme that we have experience seems to stay for a while and holding could be the answer unless we are really in need, then we have no option but to sell( sacrifice).

I think many are waiting to buy at prices that according to their analysis are worth buying, on the other hand there are many investors who still hold their assets, without any sense of panic. on the other hand there are also many investors who sell because of panic. I think for those who will buy and still hold their assets, they will certainly benefit later

If you did not have time to predict a price drop and did not react in time, then the best thing you can do is nothing.
After the fall, there is growth, perhaps not immediately, but you are very much at risk if you try to jump into the train that left. Have patience, everything is cyclical. Try not to miss the next wave.
indeed patience can provide a lot of advantages but you should know that conditions like this are difficult to do that because the price of cryptocurrency collapsed is very much in making many people who have assets in cryptocurrency panic, whereas for those who usually take advantage of the collapse of cryptocurrency prices also think because of this corona outbreak so terrible that they did not dare enter the place of exchange.

Holding at the moment is the safest way not to lose your capital but it would be more beneficial and profitable in the future if you will start buying now while the price is in dump. We can see good fortune for just a couple of months if we become more patient at this moment while waiting for the crypto market price to skyrocket again.

to buy, I think right now is a good price. but we must be prepared to hold the assets we buy for the long term. because we don't know when the pump will run. and updates from halving bitcoin also we will not know whether it will be successful.

I hold my assets and I will continue to do it even if Bitcoin drops to $ 1,000. Of course, I can’t say that I am very calm and not worried about what is happening, but I believe that all these times will pass.

What do you think? Is it a smart move at this time?
if you've already bought one of the crypto assets moving crypto assets to a stable coin, for now, is not a wise choice, because you are losing too. IMO the wisest step you should take in a "red" market like now is HODL.  Sell or HODL, all choices go back to you.

That is a wise decision if you have been bought at the high price you can divert your crypto asset into a stable coin so that you will immediately cut your losses. That is a good strategy if you are at the right timing and if you want to gain profit. But, much better to HODL for a long term purpose is a safe action. In this dip situation of the market price, accumulating is the best thing to do. While Bitcoin price is very cheap in the market may be in the future you will gain profit on it when there is a resistance to the Bitcoin price.

The best thing is to remain in a stable coin. Or rather if you are caught in the dip, its either you cut your losses or you leave it and be patient. The issue is that people don't usually have the patience to hold at loss as it usually takes time to. recover very it back except for daily trading during stable market

Hold! Hold!! Hold!!! Is the answer I normally give to friends and families whenever there's a price dump from the market. This has been my slogan almost all the times, this happened to me during the 2018 season and I hold till when the market regained it average position before I sold off. Those who panic sell are those who contributed to the downfall of the recent happening in the world of cryptocurrency and not majorly the pandemic ravaging the global world. Not saying that, they haven't contributed to the downfall but panic sale created more deep than the pandemic.

At times like this I think it's better to secure your assets or convert to a more stable USDT compared to holding it in crypto form because it's still hard to guess, just look at the market decline so badly that even to buy we have to do more research for fear of decline deeper

With the recent drastic downturn from the market, one would never thought of seeing what had happened to the cryptocurrency market as that which will stay long as we have seen. Conversion from Bitcoin to USDT to me is worthless when situations like this happened to the general market, remember that, your conversion will like some sort of fees to convert and when coming back to Bitcoin, you're still expected to be charge some fees again. This fees is what scared me out for been involve in coins conversions. For me, I prefer keeping the stash as long as its a Bitcoin or good and prospective coin.

Hold your capital in cash [fiat] when market crash is the most logical choice but I will not hold it in stable coin.
And I take a break from trading, I will use the available time to refresh myself and review my trading performance for the past year.
To look for things that I can improve in the future

But of course  Smiley everyone has their own strategy, the choice is yours...

It depends on which angle you are coming from,if it dumps and you are not able to convert to stable coin in time,I think the best you can do is to hold till the market recovers,if you are a trader,it is always good to put stop loss, atleast that will help you cut some of the losses that would have been retained.

You have a good suggestion, however, the best, most especially since the market is swinging, is to trade. Bitcoin particularly is not stable. Although, holding might keep those who cannot trade or are afraid to trade on a safer side, how long do we want to continue to do that?
If you can trade very well, you will keep adding more profits, even if the market keeps dumping. So, traders are making their money at this time. They make it more when the market is in panic.
