What To Do? (For People Who Mostly Gamble on NBA Games)

So what do you do nex?,  now that NBA has canceled some of the games this season? Will you just also  get a hold of being a gambler for the meantime? Or try another sports?

Try out other sports would be my choice since i've been betting on different sports for the most part depending on the schedules and if the NBA season just finished I usually look at other sports to bet on like rugby, cricket, snooker, darts,etc. Whenever I make bets on those sports I sometimes lower my bet size since there's limited information to rely on or wait for live if the odds are bad.

For us who aren't comfortable betting on other sports we don't know or familiar with, it's recommended to take a break.

But for a die-hard sports bettor, that can't even live without placing a bet on a single day, they will still bet on those games even they don't have an idea or knowledge about it.

But it's not a suicidal move as before betting, they will do some deep research first. Almost all sports today do have bet analyzers. That's where they will base their future bets.

you said only some games are cancelled ? so that means there are still some games that can be played and available  , so why despair too much  ? besides there are still other games out there that arent affected by the pandemic/quarantine   .

 sometimes its also better trying other types of gambling just to be new and to also maximize our learnings on other games   . many sports bettors are transferring and they claim that they are now enjoying other games too  even for temporary purposes only  .

Time to rewatch old seasons I guess. I really have nothing to do atm, and I can't even leave with the quarantine in the area I am at right now. Plus, even the Esports league has moved their events at a later date, which realllyy kinda sucks imo. Time to play some rounds in casinos then play/find some random stuff to do. Can't even try to meetup and play with a few friends cause of the curfew. That, or I'd just take up cooking since I've been curious about it for a very long time, just that I really have no idea how to start it off plus, I don't have much money I can spend on ingredients and the like.

But, you cannot bet on past seasons right  so while you can have fun watching those old seasons and maybe best moments type of videos you cannot gamble on anything right now since NBA has been stopped for corona.

I am myself a big fan of NBA but I am not only restricted to NBA as I also love betting on other sports like tennis (although a lot of tennis matches have been abandoned as well) and I am also a big fan of esports betting so I find some matches there and have fun with them. Look at the end of the day you must have fun with gambling and like you suggested if watching old seasons of NBA can give you entertainment and thrill then you should maybe not look for other sports or betting options but if you feel like you don't have any fun then go for esports I promise you will have fun once you get the knack of it.

I hope we can shift with other sports, but I think almost all major sports are affected by the COVID-19 panic.
People can't risk their lives going into the arena watching games, and players as well who are not much vulnerable compared to the fans are getting infected, so anyone with sound mind could analyze that going outside is like going into suicide, for now, no sports betting but we can play dice.

Maybe I will try another sports maybe Esports in which there some teams and leagues that are still playing and I can bet or gamble then, not just because the NBA was cancelled this doesn't mean that the gamblers who are based on the sports will stop for the meantime in betting and gambling, obviously they will find way on how they will be able to gamble again especially for those person who are really intent to gamble anytime.

I suggest either gambling or something else if the gambling part of the deal that you love so much, or if NBA was the one you love so much just continue to watch old games and highlights whenever you feel like you want to watch some basketball.

Believe me there is nothing entertaining about watching 82 games of a team, or trying to watch 1230 highlights of ALL games in a season plus the playoffs, it will become boring, so watching just the highlights of this season would be even time consuming and if you want you can go back to old games as well which would in the end would finish about next season as well.

Basically, it all depends on what you want, NBA or gambling? I would say gambling could be done on Esports these days, no idea if 2kleague is still going on but you can wager on those?

Why not make this time to improve your analysis on the NBA betting? I guess it will make more sense until the game commences maybe by two months as what the speculation is. There's a lot of events that have been canceled due to this pandemic happen not only NBA games. Ain't so much worried about sports events has been canceled because there are a lot of gamblings that we can switch of. For now, the best thing to do if you are regular gamblers is to gamble online for safety-first purposes.

Stay at home while the researcher finds a ways to get rid of this virus that keeps spreading. We should understand this current situation and let's do hope it will back to normal and all sports gambling will resume again.

Some people find passion on gamble with NBA games, of course they will wait but for people who addicted with gambling they will try another sport to keep play. It doesn't matter we stay or not, gambling is game but when use loan money and have addicted that's become problem. I choose to get another platform ( not sport ) and cards is good option.

I agree that cards is a good option and something new and for such people who are addicted with NBA and bet only on basketball maybe they should try other sports like cricket, tennis and soccer because NBA does not happen all year there is also time when the off season is going on and there are no games so I believe this will be a good time for such gamblers to try new games.

By the way I heard the games are only re-scheduled so there is nothing to worry about, they are not cancelled but only postponed until they find the situation under control and safe enough environment for these games to be conducted.

Taking a rest or engaging to another gambking game, would be the only choices a gambler could make, in my opinion.  The playoffs are now postponed and is believed to be back 18th of april, this year. A gambler could just wait for the start of the playoffs, and he could play other gambling games such as card games, dice, lotteries and the likes but if you won't be interested to such games and you are purely into sportsbetting, stopping for now would be a better idea than to try other gambling games and end up losing due to unfamiliarity and lack of enjoyment. You may also consider investing at this moment because this would be a good time, since the market prices are low as of the moment.

Honestly, we are in a situation where it is so severe that, I am just glad I do not have corona right now, that is in itself is a bigger relief than being able to watch NBA games. I rather let them not play and not spread the virus too much then being able to watch them.

I can survive by not watching NBA again until next season if it comes to that, which it looks like could come to that actually, then watch the virus go around in circles getting more and more people. Today there was a news about a 20 year old football player dying from corona because of late diagnosis, so that means not everyone safe, being young doesn't 100% guarantee safety. We should allow them some space and also keep our space as well and find other stuff to keep us occupied meanwhile.

 Depends on what you are looking for really. If you want to gamble the dice games are right there, its plenty of available in all of crypto casinos, there are tons of other games as well. If another thing is what you are looking for it all depends what you like, reading a book is always a great thing and highly suggested to widen your horizons, playing computer games is not really suggested but it feels awesome.

If you ask about what I do next? Hm, I will stay at home, and I will playing online gambling if I want, but of course, I will make sure I have some daily needs for myself and my family. Many sports have canceled the tournament and not just NBA, and that is because they want to make sure that the player is not infected by the virus, although we heard that some players from many sports get affected too. But one thing that we should do in these situations, we need to stay in our homes and make sure we can protect ourselves.

actually there is no option for me,because even basketball court in my place has been locked down by the government.
so basketball is not a thing for me now ,though i love betting in NBA or even PBA .
maybe i will just Play NBA in Playstation lol.

Totally depends on what gambling is to the individuals been affected by the decision of the NBA governing body. Assuming you're just a fan who gamble for fun then obviously this decision will have less impact on you which means you can easily stop gambling and it won't be considered a loss.

But for the professional gamblers, those who gamble just because of the profit associated with the act and it serves as their means of survival. This set if individuals have no choice but to switch immediately to other sporting activity that they can bet on to earn extra cash.

A major disadvantage will be to those who are only equipped with just the necessary skills to succeed as a NBA gambler but aren't informed via the only sports that's why we're advice to widen our knowledge in regards to any area of interest we're engaged with.

I know the nba has been paused for a while and I even heard in some article that there will be lot of damage to the league's economic structure but on a positive side a lot of players are paying from their salaries to the hourly workers and this really pleased me because nba is not just a game it now feels like a family where one member support others.
