I think people not affected are taking the Coronavirus matter lightly by creating a joke around it. It is no laughing matter and people should be serious around it. The virus is crashing the strongest economy and killing people in thousands. So it is not a thing to play around with.

+1 This is literally what people do with every single popular thing. People literally make coins for random shit and then make up some bullshit about what the coin is used for, in reality, this coin is a pump and dump scheme with maybe an ICO or mining to be able to take your funds. These coins are mostly going to be on shitcoin exchanges (YoBit, and others)

Obviously, this is nonsense. This coin is not in the lists at the CMC, which means that it is either a fake or a joke. Also, what's the point of a coin with a similar idea?
However, the coin was found on coingeko, it even trades with volumes of $ 400. I don’t see the point in such an undertaking.

From the look of things nobody seem to be joking with the deadly virus called coronavirus which has been pronounced by WHO to be pandemic. Having a token or creating a token with such name should not be seen as joke but a resemblance of the said virus. This  will also be a long historic name that will be seen as record for the children unborn. Nothing bad in seeing them create the said token, who knows, the token might even be one of the best in time to come for traders. I can't wait to trade with coronavirus token for the very best.

Just seems like a terrible scam coin that's taking advantage of a serious situation that's currently impacting the world. Doesn't seem like it's going to have much longevity past when the virus is still actively spreading based on just its name alone, and I'd agree with the quotes in the article in the OP that this is extremely immoral. Just another example of people trying to profit no matter what the circumstances are.

Creating that particular coin is another way to scam people or purely just a joke.
People shouldn't take this as a funny thing to do. And then, we think that a person who created this NCOV coin has a reason to give tribute to the people who died because of coronavirus...it feels that was a ridiculous thing to do.

For sure, they are just going to make a hype about it, maybe tell people to buy this and that to gain or raise funds to support the prevention of virus but I am quite sure that they are just going to scam people and will just create hype to gain money, that's all!

This is a pure joke and I will suggest anyone to stay out of this token. The dev has an intention of stealing your btc behind the scene with the corona trend. He has doje nothing in the background. Creating a token is very easy and he has done that only. It's another kind of scam method.

It's a joke coin, It's even a garbage coin and the true story about that if that was a scam coin. A bunch of corona virus appeared in this forum and all of corona coins are scam coin. i think that we should not even argue more about that as we have already known of corona coins are scam
