You are right with you submission but the fact that it reached the price for some hours is what really matters. Either through manipulation or whatever doesn't really matter. Despite the litigation, XRP still managed to rise from $0.18 to currently around $0.6. And when the litigation goes in the XRP's favour, we would see the full strength of the coin in term of price provided that happens in the ongoing alt season.

Whether Ripple wins the case or not isn't even an issue. Ripple has issue with the US SEC and not the world. The US can only stop the use of XRP in the US which they have done but not in the world. XRP is still in use in all part of the world where it was being used before the start of litigation aside the US.

To me, the SEC can do more harm to XRP more than they have even if Ripple loses to them in the case.
