Not really think that ethereum is set to boom recently with all that is happening around the world recently.The prices of ethereum recently went down again so I definitely not see any booming of any altcoins due to this crisis.The prices can go up anytime but this is definitely not the right time.

We do based on opinion on the current situation, OP created the thread when the market is good, actually the start of the year is really good but this pandemic cause a lot of panic to the people, and in fact ETH dropped at $80+ and it just recovered.

Don't expect ETH to go to the moon for the time being, it's likely to drop below $ 100 and this situation will last this year. The market situation is at an alarming rate and if it continues to collapse like early March, I believe we need to wait the next 2-3 years for it to recover.

it's just all because of the pandemic considering that it affect a lot of markets and cryptocurrency is not exempted. 2-3 years is very long LOL, just give it a month after the virus has been eradicated then I can assure you the pump of crypto. The price today is a good entry point, so if you have extra money then invest into ETH or BTC, that would be a good call.

Individually speaking there's a tough road for ETH to move ahead and rise to the moon since bitcoin still having the hard time and most of the

Guys, I am telling this to you after going through some hard day's ETH sees massive upswing now. It broke the key hurdle of $130 level and gave a solid start and the bulls have gained some momentum in the market because ETH is closely tracking Bitcoins price action at the moment. I guess it depends upon the pump of BTC if it pumps I am sure alts will follow the same.

I thik ETH pump after halving event, and yes it’s depend on btc pump if BTC not pump then altcoin how pump, anyway  i am waiting for halving       

it is wrong to say that when BTC is going up then ETH and alts will go up too. i think the right idea is when the total market cap of cryptocurrencies is up then there is a certain coin to go up. there is a time when btc is sideaways but ETH and alts are up.

when bitcoin is healthy, altcoin will follow, that is what i have seen the last time , bitcoin sky rocket price, i know some will agree, but for me if bitcoin price is low it will drag altcoin price, since the main coin is bitcoin, and altcoins will adjust with the price, so when bitcoin is healthy so is altcoins, but sometimes if eth has good new or there is an update it will also drag the price up.

Agree. It's all about bitcoin that's why some altcoins are continuing to pump. We should consider the halving event that is schedule this month. I think whales and other holders of bitcoin will no longer sell their btc. It will be massive increase if this will continue. ETH is still the best altcoin we have today, ETH 2.0 ? Yeah. This will set a massive adoption for ETH and I'm sure investors are happy. I'm happy as well. Big fan of ETH here and been holding ETH for a long time. I'm no longer back or sell any of my ETH.
