50 Merit for Authentication Post

I am newbie still learning and reading all post by higher rank here and find good post earned a lot of merits, I am good and no problem about that.

But today accidentally find Authentication Post got 50 merits?, I am confusing what the point the user gets that much merit?

Probably trading merits or giving them to his alt.

The same user (receiver) also sent 25 merits back to him (sender)[1].

Certainly, this is the clearest example to see that there is exchange and abuse of merit here  neither of these guys has sent or received any merit in the last 120 days, except for what they did for each other 


Abuse of merit is nothing new in this forum, it always happens somewhere out there that we don't see it  This case shows abuse, it also shows that they are connected accounts. Store a bit on this topic and check if they are cheating in the same bonus campaign

Looks like merit trading, as that account immediately sent 25 merits to the account that merited him, for this post.

Did a bit of research and it appears they both belong to the same person. One account he uses for Croatian translations, the other for Serbian translations. They frequently enroll in the same bounties.

Yep, sure enough, 18,441 SGC tokens moved from sunce33 to jovan85 on Nov 18, 2017. I would say there's a 95% chance these accounts belong to the same person.

I vaguely recall one of the merit fonts getting busted for doing pretty much the same thing not that long ago and the response was they are a merit source and can divvy up the merits as they wish.  I doubt blue Snow is such the newbie they are making themselves out to be - there's plenty of self scratching and back scratching between the DT1's of this forum.

If there was a seven day cooling off period between when merits were received and when they can be sent out, then that might just slow down this kind of exchange.

Hello everyone first, I just saw you give me negative trust. And I want to give you an explanation.
Under one jovan85 is not my alt account. We met in Dragon's tale game from 2014 he was my student if anybody if anyone was playing that game know relationship studen-mentor his name on game also jovan85 and every body there know him and know me, and We are neighbors, actually in our Countries, he is from Serbia and I am from Croatia. If you people know history in 1991 we were one Country (Yugoslavia - Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina And we speak a similar language. When the game stopped being active for me I come here and try earn some money on bounty. And I call jovan85 ,too.. We worked together, He tells me about a good bounty, I tell him.
If you look back my account sunce33 was hacked and I lost all token what I earned.
If I send tokens to jovan85, that's my personal relationship with him, or I maybe want protect my self.
I also want to say that I never traded here, never cheated on anyone, I've been fooled here many times from some members and from bounty campaign.
If the problem is merit, than admin take away merit from my account. I worked hard here to make this account and this status from February 08, 2014.
I not register yesterday. I don't understand why anyone has a problem with my account I never fooled someone or cheated any members. I never had a problem in any bounty campaign and I was never disqualified.
This is not fair i would ask the admin to delete my negative trust because I'm not a fraud, if you people need any proof, I'm ready to prove it.
And I want to say again, if any evidence is merit, please have the administrator delete merit from my account.

We don't have personal problems with you. Users made DT members by voting system to prevent abuse & scams. Merit trading itself is enough to tag you as I said my previous post. But on the other hand you had broke campaign rules. Your explanation isn't valid, because everyone excuse almost same after exposed. I have friends on this forum but it doesn't mean we have to use same social media accounts or btc address. I won't argue about your transaction, perhaps one could send it to others. But where you trade merit, do you really think that post deserve 50/25 merits? What is the quality had you found there? Do you know what is the uses of merits?

Your explanation isn't enough to convince me, so I am not gonna change my feedback. Continue your earning with red tag....

There's a lot of instances where you both work in the same bounty, and then one address sends their tokens to the other, and then the tokens get deposited into Etherdelta. I am hesitant to unfairly red tag people, but this is a practice commonly used by alt accounts cheating bounties. Unfortunately the excuses you've provided are pretty common among those used by an account after it gets caught having alt accounts.

Even if I were to change the contents of my tag on your account, it would still be red for merit swapping. I tend to go by the guidelines established in this post when leaving negative trusts, as they are a collection of things discussed and agreed upon by much of the DT community:

Unacceptable behavior that will result in a red tag:

Attempted or successful fraud or theft.
Business activity that resulted in the loss of funds by others.
Account sales
Merit sales / swapping
Harassing a DT
Offering escrow without a track record
Asking for a no collateral loan
Shilling / advertising MLM or ponzi
Escrowing for themselves
Late loan repayments / loan defaults.

You were clearly engaged in merit swapping as the posts receiving merit are simply bounty authentication posts and not informative or useful whatsoever.

You're talking about TMAN and he wasnt "busted" for anything. He sent 50 merits to a post he thought was useful, to a member he thought (at the time) was deserving of them -- NOT to a proof of authentication post. He certainly didn't get 25 merits in return for it (he got 3 from The-Devil, I just looked it up), and it wasn't from a suspected alt account. YOU are the one trying to rewrite history.

1. I still don't get why it is a problem because users changed merit between themselves? If the merit is open to everyone's will? Why it is a problem? At a moment their merit will dissapear and won't be a problem. As everyone has the power and the willing to send btc to anyone, to any address, why merit should be so centralised in such low ammounts.
As example the OP made a topic where he raised a question, why he got so much merit on it? I also have dumb posts where I got merit and I still don't know why. When I am trying to do a high quality post it never gets merited, I start to believe that you need to hunt those topics where old users are reacting. That's the only way of actually getting a status in the forum.

2. Besides the fact that he sent merit to someone and there is a sad story about him playing whatever game, and being banned and so on, why it was obviously just ignored by everyone and just stayed with their first feedback?

Basically jovan85 is being accused of plagiarizing the work of sunce33 by posting the same translation from the Croatian board... That's probably why he deleted the post which is a word-for-word copy/paste of the Croatian translation. He registered in that bounty with both accounts.

And the fact that jovan85 accidentally used the sunce33 twitter handle makes it a sealed deal. They are definitely the same person. jovan85 should have been banned for plagiarism but he deleted the post before it was reported, thus there is no longer anything to ban (though he may have done this in past bounties).

I get where you're coming from though, but I don't understand why you only exclude mobile alts from your mobile, and not from your main account.
Now, if you'd include your own mobile account, that would make sense again as putting your alt on Depth 0 would exclude your alt's exclusions on your Depth 1. It's ironic, isn't it

Probably admin told it on my thread and I have remembered it which purpose he said. But you know eventually he had removed that merit source we talked about. I believe they abuse merit system and its equal to cheat forum system. So who want to cheat forum system trading with them is extremely high risk.

I always try to avoid tag merit abuser, this user is accused for multiple reason. So no more second chance for him and I believe I wrote correct thing on feedback;

Okay, well this is a good discussion to have. Does trading merit constitute selling merit? Technically they are buying merit with merit, so I would say yes. In this case, its not at a 1:1 exchange rate, and the two parties are most likely one in the same, but I think sending heaps of merit to oneself does constitute untrustworthy behavior as they are artificially building an inflated reputation for themselves. Should users be able to send merits to their alt accounts?

I don't think its a good idea to tag people specifically for meriting low quality posts, but in this case, two instances of accounts meriting each other's proof of authentication posts does lend credibility to the idea that merit is being exchanged/traded, regardless of whether or not they are owned by the same person.

I agree with this, the system was purely created to indicate newbies about a users trading history on the forum and using it to indicate merit trading doesn't seem to be an intended use of the system, by the creator.

And collect my many bounty. How you didn't find that post.  How long did it take me to prove it was my account..And in the end, that same Jovan85 helped me , because we was connected, and people who stole my account were from Pakistan. Basically jovan85 is being accused of plagiarizing the work of sunce33 by posting the same translation from the Croatian board... That's probably why he deleted the post which is a word-for-word copy/paste of the Croatian translation. He registered in that bounty with both accounts.

And the fact that jovan85 accidentally used the sunce33 twitter handle makes it a sealed deal. They are definitely the same person. jovan85 should have been banned for plagiarism but he deleted the post before it was reported, thus there is no longer anything to ban (though he may have done this in past bounties).

I do not know from what device you are reading this forum, but to understand that the account is blocked, you should read just one post above. Just open your eyes wider and look at the answer that someone is talking to a blocked account.
But instead, you've created two posts that will help you in your company. But what is especially annoying is your eternal mention of God, I do not think that such sermons are interesting to many here.
