if you are a full time worker in the crypto industry, I think airdrops is a side job that you can do besides participating in signatures and social media campaigns. it's not bad it's just that the prize from Airdrops isn't high. but for me personally Airdrop is just a waste of time and does not produce a commensurate profit.

yes in my opinion airdrop hunting is rally valeless now.you can see only dead project give airdrop with  no potentiality of growing the price.so i think airdrop is waste of time.

this week i join alot of airdrops . they were all telegram bots . and most(like 99% of them) of them ask for transaction fee as eth at the end of airdrop.
let me tell you what i think and who is going to win this game!!!!
those amount of eth is no money for anyone . but if i send that eth to that address thats 1 person.and now IF the airdrop wasnt scam i will get my tokens.and can i sell those tokens for good money???!?! no one knows !!!they will add token in exchanges and make a BIG GOOD NEWS about it in telegram channel!
now there is 2 possibilitys .1)u can sell them with moving them to exchange (also pay fee). 2)u must wait until the right time
about part 2.you just spend eth to get that air drop token witch means u lost small of your asset(eth).now think that it is not just you, there are more than 1000 people spending eth .WHATS HAPPEND?alot of people lost eth to 1 person(company).low amount+low amount+...=ALL FOR COMPANY!!!!

Projects which ask transaction fee to distribute airdrops are not legit. Airdrops are to attract new investors and thus investment. If they need transaction fees just to distribute rewards, it means their strategy is not good towards token metrics and fundraising. Such projects can fail in a short duration.

If you don't have any strong clue after all members suggested good advice than do whatever you like after all airdrop is wasting time. Some people don't like KYC for airdrop, probably you will miss several KYC if you do only airdrop. You can do as part time work, whenever you free do it when others work has accurate submit time.

you mean sending your eth to claim tokens ? they do it because maybe the offer is huge but any huge offer can be something that is shady . if they also ask for some good amounts of eth then that is a no no thing to do  . eth is still valueable compare to a token that has not been listed yet or even on a token that is already listed because thier value can easily fade away   . airdrops can be a time waster or not depending on your choices . if you like to join randomly , chances are high that you can pick the scam ones

I don't think it wastes time, for participating to any airdrops you just have to choose a legit platform, do not have to jump everywhere to see more profit just find out legit airdrop campaign. Airdrop campaign might not be of any importance to you & me but it is very important for beginners and newbies.

for me airdrop is important because sometimes there are airdrops that can make money for example like OGN, every month there is an airdrop that they provide and the price is also quite good in the market, not to mention their market is binance

Why do you think airdrops are a waste of time? How much time do you spend on an airdrop? To me, each airdrop only takes a few minutes so it will not take too much of your time. I see the airdrop right now is almost 70% is a fraud and another 30% might still be able to make money but even then in a very small amount, maybe in this case, I personally disagree with you Because, in my opinion, following an airdrop is futile vain and just spend time for us to follow all the existing tasks including having to refer a referral, but after all the tasks are finished  and the results we get are not in line with expectations at all.

Few years back there was very good time for this all air drops and bounties was on peak but few cheaters done serious damage to this all and start scams so now its completely waste of time and energy if someone feel its going to give some good profit then surely its really foolish because right now we have more then 85% projects are scams so better avoid this all and serve your time in some better way for better earning.

It is true. Even today there are certain tasks that are quite complicated and require us to follow all of their social accounts. Some even require KYC for rewards that are still not necessarily valuable. Don't risk your identity.
It's not that I don't like airdrops, but I'm more selective and only choose airdrops held by exchange tops such as Binance and Upbit. There are other alternatives besides airdrop, for example, follow the game competence https://creepts.cartesi.io/contest/binance/

I don't think wasting time because airdrop is the easiest thing you can do, just join their telegram usually.
But there are too many bots joining the airdrop nowadays, and this is not fair because the bots will receive the most reward.
participating in bounty campaigns i think is better than participating in airdrop campaigns
