Had a quick conversation with Pilipinas moderator Mr. Big and we discussed(and agreed upon) about having a Coronavirus(COVID-19) megathread sa section natin para mabawas bawasan ang Coronavirus-related topics sa section natin; dahil masyado ng nagiging redundant ang topics natin.

Anyway, here it is. Hopefully to clean up our section a bit.

I'm not against with this thread pero gusto ko lang malaman na hindi pa ba ito yung Mega thread regarding COVID-19 dito sa Pilipinas?

• Corona Virus in the Philippines.

The thread is informal but as we can see, the replies there are updates and information regarding sa COVID-19 which is ako din minsan ay naguupdate din doon. The thread of a user @XenoFever lasted for almost 16 days at sobrang dami ng replies and discussion regarding COVID-19.

Kasi kung sobrang daming related threads regarding COVID-19, report to be locked/deleted nalang sana yung iba and stay to the existing ones. Anyways, kung ito na talaga yung official megathread regarding COVID-19 mas okay kasi maiiwasan na yung spam threads, I hope na ma-locked nalang yung isa, kaysa ma-delete kasi sayang yung updates ng ibang members doon at matatanggal lang dahil may bagong official mega thread.

Good question.

We can be free to use other existing threads naman(including the thread of XenoFever of course), the goal of this sort of "megathread" is to prevent(or lessen, not necessarily na magiging bawal) the creation of newer ones, and to have a megathread that's hopefully more strict in terms of ung information na prinoprovide ng ating mga kabayan(see suggested rules of Mr. Big).

Anyway, if this thread doesn't get enough traction in a few days/weeks, hayaan nalang nating mamatay tong thread. No biggie.

XenoFever's topic is already locked and I'm guessing our local mod did that to give way for this topic. The problem with that topic eh hindi nag-edit yung OP at nag-dagdag ng mga updated information. Kung isa ito sa aim ng bagong thread, I have no issue. So bale ililipat na lang mga ibang information dun at ilagay dito kagaya ng mga contact numbers.

Di ko na mabilang kung ilang beses may thread na na merge ko dun sa existing discussion ng corona, but I think kailangan nating ng isang thread lang, yung seryoso, I'll be watching this, hanggang sa matapos ang home quarantine sa Pilipinas...

Naiimagine ko yung dami ng topics ng nalilipat ni Mr. Big just about COVID pero maganda na din naman na meron kasi isa ito sa pinagdadaanan ng lahat eh, ma share lahat ng dinadamdam. Wag lang sana paulit ulit 

Magandang ideya yung pag bigay ng tubig para sa mga nasa checkpoint. Nung isang labas ko kasi nung nakaraan linggo, nandun lang sila sa may puno kasi mainit talaga at hindi na masyado nakapag trabaho, lalo na yung mga suot nila.

Nothing to add more aggression sakanya dahil even mga tv casters frustrated sa ginawa niya. Nakakalungkot lang na hindi mo masabi kung gaano kagulo yung nangyayari. Hanggat maari tulungan na lang, yung wala ng sasabihin sa mali ng isa. Parusahan na lang ang lumabag, para wala ng magtatangka na susunod pa.

I just wish na hindi mangyari sa kanyang magiging anak ang kagaya nito[1] na pinaka batang na infect ng covid-19 dahil yung mother niya ay suspected na positive sa virus. May nabasa lang ako na rumors na suspected positive din ang asawa niya.

I'm glad we now have a place to properly discuss this.
Nakakabahala iyong increasing number of confirmed cases dito satin sa Pinas. On March 23rd, 86 naidagdag, kahapon, [03/25] 84 naman.
Consider this, even if just each one of those new 80+ cases infected two persons, then that's another 160+! Tingin ko dadami pa confirmed cases dito sa atin since the Covid-19 testing kits isn't widely available lalong-lalo na sa mga nasa lower class.

Ang mas nakaka-irita pa is 'yong mga kababayan natin na matitigas ang ulo at ayaw mag-home quarantine (cough* coco).  
I wouldn't mind if the Goverment would implement a total lockdown sa buong Pilipinas para maagapan na itong krisis na ito 'cause the sooner this goes on, mas lalala pa yung problema, not only with the virus but with our economy as well.

- This does not apply to nationals of the Philippines.

- This does not apply to spouses or children of nationals of the Philippines.

Passengers who have transited through or have been in Iran or Italy in the past 14 days, are required to undergo a 14-day quarantine.

4. Passengers under the following visa categories are not allowed to enter the Philippines:

- Passengers under Visa Waiver Agreements.

- Passengers with Special Visas

- Passengers who fall under Executive Order No.408, s1960 (EO408);

- Passengers with a Hong Kong (SAR China) passport, Macao (SAR China) passport, Macao-Portuguese, and British National Overseas passports.

- Immigrant and non-Immigrant visa holders (i.e. 13, 9D, 9F, 9G, 47a(2), etc.)

This does not apply to:

- spouses and children of Filipino nationals (if they are not traveling together, they should show proof of marriage or filiation).

- government and International Organization officials whose visas were issued by the Philippines government.

Actually, PNP formed a Task Force  against proliferation of false information. Against kasi yan sa RA10175 which is the Anti-Cybercrime Law.

While browsing kanina, nakita ko naman to - PNP filed charges against Noveleta, Cavite Mayor Dino Chua for spreading fake news about COVID-19
