What I noticed in many threada that telling newbies what to do or where to start is that the information or tips are related to earning merits like posting good quality posts and create more quality posts instead of learning about cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, eth and other cryptocurrencies that a person is interested.

Do not be shameful to ask for help or question about the forum
This forum can be very difficult to be understood by new members, if you have tried and know some part of it, you can ask anything you do not know and want answers for, our ranked members are happy to answer such questions. This happened to me when I was new here on the forum, I ask questions and I was well answered by ranked members. You can make use of beginners and help for that, or bitcoin technical support for anything related bitcoin wallet and transaction.

It's quite interesting to see how far you have come, I remember seeing this topic when it was posted and the observation from @OgNasty of you not mentioning bitcoin in your entire post. Having that in mind I was curious on reading your just posted reply (more like a bump to this topic) and observing if similar observation like that of @OgNasty will still be seen but I was disappointed which is a good sign of you taking corrections and improving on yourself.

My advice won't be any different from yours but some addition of always been enthusiastic on learning about bitcoin as that's the main purpose of joining the forum. You would had gain nothing if your knowledge of bitcoin before and after you joined the forum are still the same unless you must be some expert already before joining the forum (which I doubt many of us are).

The opportunity the forum offers that you can gain are countless so don't rush the process, allow the forum pass through you while you stay in the forum. Always strive to improve as that's the only way you can see yourself progressing both on and off the forum.

3. Do not beg for merit
I have noticed some newbies that have no more than 2 posts and zero merit begging for merit. This signifies unseriously and a perfect no-fit to be among the forum members. Let your topics and posts do the work.
Exactly, it is not called merit for nothing. It is the result of your outstanding effort to contribute and help your fellow members. There's no need to beg when you can just use your knowledge to educate others and share your experiences to make good advice. It is not something to beg for, if you badly want it, then make an action. Don't depend on other people, that way you will be able to prove you deserve it.
