There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

I have never tried any other wallet for ethereum except myetherwallet even I am not preferring to make use of online wallets. I once heard about the too technical nature of ethereum's native wallet and then started using only myetherwallet for year. Just from the OP's post I came to know about all other options for ethereum but I am seeing only very few are known names there hence I may not switch from myetherwallet in near future.

Moreover, I have plan to make use of myetherwallet's android version; as per what I read, I guess we can interlink web version with mobile version to safely transact but not yet tried. If I am asked to pick anything other than that then I will go for Trust wallet as per this community's opinion (there were at least two topics on trust wallet here on its features and credibility). So, making use of a new wallet after this community's opinion will not be a problem for me.

I always preferred using IMTOKEN, Trust wallet, Atomic wallet and also Coinomi. That 4 wallets are always been my trusted and i don't actually use desktop wallets coz there are some people who have access on my computer.
But thank you for sharing this!

Ethereum is the biggest platform based token available. So there is a lots of wallet support for it. But most of the people who knows about ethereum are known of myetherwallet. I think everyone should try it. It's a web based wallet support all standard and all types of ethereum based token. And it's also my favourite. Other than that for mobile use I use a wallet called mathwallet. It's support others chain too. But it's easy to use. You can pick any of the wallet just check that it's support all the ethereum standards.

MEW is still the best personal wallet in my opinion, all of my ERC-20 and ETH tokens have been safe there for a long time, but people's opinions are different, certainly security is the most important.

Yes. I think Ethereum will be survive and will achieve a great goal. Till now as i seen Ethereum alt coin been survived very good way besides Bitcoin. It's mostly best alt coin as i seen so far. I can say that would be most profitable coin in future when the btc as well be bumped.

I have been using MEW since joining this market and this is definitely the safest option in the crypto market. In addition, you can use Trust Wallet because this is considered a very popular wallet for phone users. If you want to be more secure then you can use a cold wallet like Ledger Nano S and I am also using it to keep a large amount of money.

I would go for Trust wallet. So easy to use. There are no negative feedbacks so I'm sure it is sage to use and even newbies can use it. If you already have MEW, then all you have to do is just import private key and recover wallet.

MyEtherwallet is really a cool wallet. The truth is that, when you join crypto through airdrops and bounty, you are likely to use the wallet as it's highly recommended by most people. I have used it in the past and I must say it's great. The reason I had to switch is that, I graduated from being a hunter to more of an investor lol. So I needed a place I could store coins on different blockchain, XRP to be specific. So I researched and found out about Atomic Wallet which supported ERC20 tokens and other top coins I found interesting. It also had a swap service where you could easily convert one crypto to another. The experience is amazing to be frank.

I'm mobile user but i use trust wallet and MyEtherWallet.
I use Trust Wallet for join airdrop or trade in OpenSea.io.
And MyEtherWallet for send to exchange or other users. Because I can setting transaction speed in MyEtherWallet to reduce transaction cost.

It was always interesting to me and looked strange, why there are so many ethereum wallets (they are more than mentioned here) when they offer same, and what differs are only interface. Also when each mobile has access to the internet and to myetherwallet, there are mobile wallet apps?

thank you for the information.
at least it gives users a choice, which wallet is the best and convenient for the user.
I was a trustwallet user from the beginning plunging in the crypto world and feel comfortable until now. besides simple I also think it supports a lot of tokens.

yes, speaking of ethereum wallet I think the best is the MEW online wallet, in my opinion it is very safe and easy to use too. on the other hand about cellphone wallets like Trust wallet & coinomi. Both of these cellphone wallets have many features and can hold several tokens generated from the Ethereum platform.

So far I am only using 3 wallets for Ethereum first is the Nano Ledger for my long term hold and investment,
Second is MEW for all my erc20 tokens I have been using MEW for so long now ever since I found it I never had any problem with it.
And my last wallet is a mobile app which I use to easily convert my ETH into BTC or other crypto and into Fiat.
But if I would recommend a wallet for newbie's it would be a hardware wallet to make sure that all of their crypto investment are safe.

.BIG WINNER!.

There are many good and safe wallets for storing ethereum and ERC20 coins, I use MEW wallet which for me is one of the best wallets that are popular, easy, and have great security. On the phone, I use two wallets applications and so far I have not had any problems with them, they are Trust Wallet and imToken. My advice to those who use these wallets for the first time is to keep the private key and the recovery words on an external hard drive away from the device.

This is nice, at least those just joining up in the crypto space can have a good start and choice of wallets to choose from thus running away from free wallets and their likes. Among all the categories of wallets, I prefer mobile wallets because of their convinence and easy accessibility features. I have used all the mobile wallets listed and found Trust wallet to be more friendly, good interface and advanced as well. Just to add as well, Trust wallet support variety of other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Tron, and so on.

I have been using myetherwallet and so far it is good. I have done transfer some coins and trade it to exchanges. But to others wallets being mention, I have no experience in using them probably I am satisfied with Myetherwallet. It has been a lonh time since I am having this online wallet.

It may good to have other options other than the wallet we used to store our crypto. But never should be exchanges wallet to be use as permanent wallet. This because exchanges are prone to hacking activities and crypto funds will be at risk.
