Bot attack bounty thread

If a bounty manager is really good I think they can detect bots that are spamming their bounty. That's why I participate mostly on bounties that are handled by Veteran Bounty Managers

and the old bounty managers also do not filter everything, many are just too lazy to do it

Unfortunately, many bounty managers don't take full advantage of some of the google form features to avoid bots, such as:
- enable "Limit to 1 response"
- disable "Show link to submit another response"
- enable "Shuffle order question"
- provide at least 1 validation question with multiple answers and shuffle them.
- make the form into several pages.

such a system I met rarely, I only remember the rabbit inserted in the Google form checking for the bot and all, and the tips are really important for BM!

I do not know if there is such a thing, but it would be good if you fill out google form in the case of incorrect, or duplicate links to the post of authentication, immediately delete these accounts in spreadsheets, because 2500 entries are also difficult to check whether they correspond to reality or not

Anyone encounter were you can see duplicate names on spreadsheet but with different ethereum address? Cause it happenned to me many times, everytime i check the the spreadsheet i have 2 to 3 entries but diffrrent eth address, how to prevent those copy ninjas.

I never encounter that on the bounty campaigns ive joined in. But i do see some who who copy the details of other hunyers and register it on tje sane campaign but different ethereum address, so i reported it the bounty manager.

Yes of course met, this is one of the most common schemes, there is still an option when your proof of authenticity is used

bots ? how can bots enter here , i thought the site already have anti bots such as captchas  or maybe that wasnt enough yet ? the job of the bounty managers is to check the spread sheet . there is no job that are easy   .  it only becomes hard if the bounty hire hundreds of participants but this tax alot of effort for the manager which the pay for it is also bigger than usual . we can also help them if we are really concerned and its for for the own good of our forum too .

I think that you should calm about this as the managers were also actively removing the bot. I have seen some managers have been eliminating more than one thousand bot account int he social media campaign. That will need the time to process the bot account and remove it from the campaign.

I really don't know where this user really came from or his goal i think he is just trolling campaigns by enrolling a lot of entries and give the project or the bounty manager a headache I also see some campaigns I think it's from yahoo one of his campaign also was trolled by these bots.

It's simple.
Enroll 1000 fake accounts, get 1000 rewards.
But most of the time bots are easily recognizable as they have a pattern. So figure out the pattern, you figured out which are the bots

That is why signature bounty is still one of the most organic ways of marketing and fewer bots could reach it out, with the merit system you need to be good to rank up, and if t=you post repeatedly same things they would tag you, And also that is why telegram airdrop is doomed because these bots could do it easy and fast .

I cant disagree on this one but to know that they would really need to go to other mediums to give out more exposure specially to those platforms which do have lots of traffic
which is mostly on social media platforms thats why Twitter and Facebook and other messaging platform is included due for this reason.When we do talk about signature
then we know that these bot abuses can really be lessen out .

Its not something new yet this had been known in the past.You can actually spot them out when you do look the spreadsheet.It might not be noticeable for most people but
for some eyes you can able to tell specially if a bounty had been flocked out by hundreds of entries.Getting rid of this one would really be a challenge and as a bounty
manager then this would really be pain in the ass when you do tend to clean it.

In its spreadsheet has 5887 entries. So there are 5887 - 719 = 5168 fake/scam/bot entries.


I want to see what thread poster will do with this problem and where this thread will go. Let's watch it with me  .

Good thing you noticed it. There are lots of projects that are scammed that ruined cryptoworld we might not see it but having lot of scams project reduces reputations of cryptocurrencies.
Its obviously fake entries, but still they are really persistent to scam.

You are mistaken, it is possible to create dynamic answers to questions and therefore the fraudster will not be comfortable and he will abandon his idea. Scammers are looking for inexperienced managers and make an attack

Many of these trolls are really making the Bounty managers work with those spreadsheets. Too many scammers are trying to find ways to recieve chunk of the bounty reward. Mostly spammers are trying to join Telegram campaign as sometimes it just requires registration.

Those people who try to make some such duplicate in spreadsheet for bounties are cheating it is the main reason also why bounty hunters have a problem if they not pass for accepting for any campaigns they participate.

the numbers of scammers, are increasing nowadays and bounty managers are in Troubles owing to them.managers should have to manage theirs work more wisely than they used to do in past.it might be possible, managers face this kind of problems less if they ask "proof of authentication & set security question or capcha on google from" to prevent this kind of bot attrack.
