The price of a coin depends on its demand in the market. The higher the demand for it, the higher the price rises.
Demand is formed in people's heads depending on potential profit expectations.

From my own perspective it all comes down with a "trust" if one altcoin has already built a community trust, new altcoin with the same feature cannot beat it no matter how good it is in terms of technology. Just like bitcoin for sure there are many altcoins out there that are better and faster, lesser fees, etc. But why they cannot beat bitcoin in terms of marketcap? Because bitcoin has already gain "trust".

To increase the price of the most important altcoins already listed in several markets because investors believe that the altcoins have a big potential if there are many fans then the price will rise, for the team that manages an altcoin should also be active in promoting the coin so that the boost will be greater.

Smart promotion is one of the big keys to the success of the project, but now there is very less project who knows how to do good marketing. maybe new projects just do not have enough money for promoting

What matters is if they pump BTC and all others will pump. Just today the price of ETH breaks the 175USD resistance and so the rest of the altcoins are also green. Every altcoin has their ecosystem so when an altcoin jumps to a milestone they may earn some trust from individuals who sees the altcoin's property and features and if he sees its worth he will bid in that coin turning its price green as well.

listing on many different exchanges or the team working behind altcoin is a very important thing in my opinion, but still choose an exchange that already has big name. if all is only a small exchange then it will be useless

We all know cryptocurrency. We Buying and selling different types of altcoins in different exchanges. Many of altcoins have the same features, total supply, blockchain, even number of decimals, But in their prices, there is a huge difference. So, there is one question that appears at this point that "What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin ?". Is it makes a high price by listing on many different exchanges or the team works behind that altcoin/project? Or something else. This is a big question which all of us want to know.

First of all, it takes a genuine hardworking team to keep fostering the price of their coin long term and also to build a decent project which will attract crypto enthusiasts. Listing on good exchanges plays a vital role in price action, you can't expect a coin listed on Binance, OKEX and HUOBI to perform better if listed on smaller exchanges with low reputation and trading volume. Also, marketing is another aspect, how well do they give relevant updates, publish articles to target investors or showcase their product to draw interest. Many altcoin projects fail in this regard, and some fail due to team greed. Most importantly, product development is vital for price action, nowadays investors do not necessarily listen to influencers, they want to see working products. Building a strong community too will help reduce people dumping massively when there is little FUD.
