Where I'd recommend you start...

1. Download Electrum: https://electrum.org/#home

2. Go to https://www.nicehash.com/ and download the software you need to start mining altcoins with your GPU and receive payouts in BTC to your electrum wallet.

3. Use BTC anywhere it's accepted. (https://nastyfans.org/mint isn't a bad place to start Wink)

Once you start earning it and using it, the rest will begin to fall into place for you as you start asking yourself questions how things work.

If you want to get into mining you need to study first, what coin to mine , you can go to the mining section where there are lots of post regarding it,
also make sure your funds are all ready because it will get costly at first , but make sure if you want it you have to be ready, spend more time googling
about it, study bitcoin and its behavior because if you have crypto in your hands you will need also to study trading, you see if you want to go to crypto
its not one area , it will bring you everywhere from selling trading, mining , and more so you have to be ready.

I can usually learn new things with relative ease if someone can talk to me and explain things. Thanks in advance.

If you are new to this world, my advice is for you to study and learn about bitcoin first. History, how it works, what is mining, what is trading, halving, volatility etc. Watch documentaries, youtube videos about bitcoin for newbies. I recommend 99 bitcoin in youtube, their contents are easy to understand. In simple words, understand Bitcoin first before jumping into anything. At the same time you will understand the risk of what you are going into. After knowing bitcoin, decide if you are still interested in mining.

Here's thread I made for Newbies: Start Learning about Bitcoin while Stuck in Quarantine!

Well, do you have knowledge about mining already?. You can also visit the mining board then you'll be discussing abouy mining. Beginners and help is for understanding how mining works like the threads that these people provided. You should also know that you need to learn how to setup mining rigs if you want to mine bitcoin.

Based on my own experience, I had trouble understanding mining the time I start with cryptocurrency because all I want to know is how to earn it. But then the technology behind it is what matters the most. I suggest you better research, comprehend, and understand the Blockchain technology first as it is the fundamental backbone of the cryptocurency. There are also groups in a lot of social networking sites such as Facebook where you can find groups of people near you whom are onto mining if you would really prefer to get in touch and learn how it really works.

Once you start earning it and using it, the rest will begin to fall into place for you as you start asking yourself questions how things work.

sir i m so interested in this mining and i want to ask if it can work with any device. possibly is there a specific system or IPhone and Android to use and mine?? since i m also a new user on this platform your responses will be greatly valued.

If you are new in this industry I won't advise engaging already in mining. I think it is a more complicated aspect in cryptoincdustry. This is the main idea in mining:
"Each time a cryptocurrency transaction is made, a cryptocurrency miner is responsible for ensuring the authenticity of information and updating the blockchain with the transaction. The mining process itself involves competing with other cryptominers to solve complicated mathematical problems with cryptographic hash functions that are associated with a block containing the transaction data."
Source: Webopedia

To be honest, I did not engage into it in the first place because i find it hard in many aspects such as materials in order to be able to 'mine' and such. I engaged on cryptoinvestments and bounty projects in order to acquire cryptos. The cryptos I have acquired from campaigns are cryptos I put into trading in order to get my desired cryptos to hold which are also aligned with my invested coins. Another reason is that, I think the competition in mining is already that big. But if you are really that interested, feel free to check these sites.

You need to understand something about mining, is sounds great to have those little machines mining coins, but isn't a good business at all, because the hardware for the task isn't cheap at all and the operation cost can be high in some places where the energy bill is high.

You can search for other ways to generate new coins like staking Wink

in my opinion, mining is profitable in the early era of btc but since it gradually getting halve value it important for us to calculate the benefit, i mean is that worth to invest lot of money for monthly cost to get some profit through mining coin. i guess maybe mining is suitable for those who extremely busy in and have a lot of money to invest for mining kit and have a dream to get passive income from it

I'm not new to crypto but I'm new to mining instead.

Although I've read a few articles about mining too, but never had the time or interest to actually mine since the general feedback I'm hearing is that it costs too much to mine and it ain't worth it nowadays unlike before.

On that note, I'll try to take advantage of the quarantine we're required to do lately so I'll give myself some time to read and digest all the suggestions provided above. But for the meantime, is there a quick answer or feedback from those experienced with mining already, is it still worth getting into or not anymore?

Have all the comments written in here (in your thread) answered your question? I saw many different solution answers and i'm sure those answer will help you before you start mining.

Mining has a wide scope. Some of them are Proof of Work and Proof of Stake. Some of the following articles might help you to increase your knowledge in addition to some article recommendations that have been mentioned by others members above.

Good luck with your mining journey.

I dont think the OP really wants to know more about that question. After getting many answers from users, he hasnt even responded and the OP has been inactive for the past 2 days.

I really think this is not very good for him and I think very many newbie now make threads in their first posts in the forum and then disappear and leave their threads. Behavior like this is completely useless in my opinion, will only add to the list of newbie who are not cooperative.

I noticed this and was about to say it.
Very said he's just making people do research and crack brain for him. He never replied any of the comments and he disappeared a day after. Reason some members doesn't help sometimes.
I think we should make list of users that always disappears after creating threads like this so as not to waste time on them in future.
