For now, there are few universities who taught these courses and most of them are in capital city of each country. If a person is interested to learn this stuff for free, He/She can always read and watch some countless articles and tutorials about it. after he reads most of it, he can start to lool for the universities that have this kind of course. there are some alternatives too that he can always enroll an online class with this kind of lesson that are related to blockchain.

I think educating people about Bitcoin need no requirements in universities instead this can be done by Forum members that is educated about crypto and how Bitcoin works.

there was this account here in forum in the name of Cris or Chris something that helping His People learn about Bitcoin for even free because he Believes in crypto and supports this market continuously things that i think will be very helpful because not all people can afford university courses or even wanted to go in schools just to learn this.
so if we will extend our hands and try to educate our own people in neighborhood ?for sure the crypto will grow even faster .

Blockchain got its own learning progress. Some of the users here learn the basics and fundamentals of blockchain and how it works not in a academy but most of them just taught themselves using the internet.

Why does it need to require such dimploma or anything that proves of your capability on blockchain studies? I think the fair question is does these universities guarantees that if newbies learn they could use it on work or even create something that has an added value on cryptocurrency field?

I have this thought after watching The Imitation Game.
It is more about cryptography and I guess the blockchain is related with that.

Hell, I don't even understand those codes. But some just do. We call them the genius.
I think there is a chance to insert it in students studies but never as directly consuming time.
Maybe used as an example and it will depend on the students if they will open their eyes into broadening their knowledge about bitcoin.

Maybe cryptocurrency can be taught at the high-school or university when someone can think about cryptography because that will need a basic of programming to learn cryptography. And not all people can understand the language because I guess that will be more complicated than the other programming language. The learners should know about computation, but I don't know because I don't understand about programming at all like other people.

It shouldn't be a course in it's own, it should be a subject. And moreover there are already lots of online courses where you can learn everything you need to know to be a Blockchain engineer/developer, whatever they are being called. I do go through EdX, Udemy and Coursera and I have seen Blockchain courses there. So anyone that's interested in it can still apply and study and get the certificate.

I can remember that one of my friends studied Economics in school, but after he graduated, he studied Programming online and for the certificate, and now he's working as a programmer. So these online courses are good and you get a job with the certs.

As far as I know, there's a specific topic in our economic subject that discussed basic information regarding with bitcoin. It brings awareness to my fellow students that there's a digital form of cash, which makes them ask different question as if it's possible to use as a payment method for products/services and if it's legal to use. It was discussed to see how different forms of currency can affect the economy of a country and foreign exchange market.

I've read about many schools that have courses related to blockchain and the concept of cryptocurrency across many country. Virtually everyone who have access to internet knows about cryptocurrency and i must say it's a good thing, the only problem is that they see it as an investment option for making profits rather than a decentralized financial institution and this is where teaching of Blockchain and the concept of cryptocurrency in school have a lot to do in order for the outside world to see the true purpose of this sector. As far as bitcoin concurs the world, it will be better if individuals know the basics of how this kind of currency run, also, the lack of knowledge about bitcoin leads people to doubt about its persistency and capacity to produce and gain money.

I agree with this and my opinion is that the current system of education is bad because it forces people to stay at school up to a certain age.

 People should have the freedom to learn what they want and what they think will be profitable for them.

Yes- we need cryrocurency education but it should not only be on a mathematical aspect.

It should included in economics modules and entrepreneurial modules.

maybe you missed a little information about cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, if you take a little time to search about Bitcoin, I think the question has been answered and done a long time ago by many educational universities in the world, for example, Britain, Russia etc.

Well, I'm not saying to be some schools, I'm emphasizing to be taught in schools. Since you were saying that it's been almost many years passed teaching this bitcoin, but why not all schools are involved to this teachings? If we are making bitcoin to go on progress, then we should let most of new students understand the flow of this from basic upto the level they wanted to. This is investment and we need to outgrow our investment to these young investor.

I think the most important is learning blockchain technology, not cryptocurrencies. They are not backed, they have no as great future as blockchain has. Actually, some prominent universities have blockchain programms so that point is covered.

That is the most important thing about cryptocurrency, the system behind the decentralized network is what makes the cryptocurrency famous for transferred data unalterable making tons of ideas to be applied in the real world, best fit in financial terms. There are colleges that are already teaching about cryptocurrency. With bitcoin, someone can gain and earn so much money. If cryptocurrency is taught at schools, many job opportunities would be available to many graduates. There is a high possibility that students will be encouraged and persevered to study hard because they want what they are doing.
