I agree OKEX caters more towards Chinese residents.  They do seem to have good volume on CMC, but I have never used them.

CZ didn't. As far as i know, if binance exist before okex has already launched. CZ was also building binance from done binance ico in the past.

Okex is having a very good reputation too. Both are the major exchange sites that lead the market right now.

okex is one of the best exchanges too, and many people still use okex exchanges, I often use okex but now have started switching to binance, okex is only used when there are coins that are only listed there

I know that a few years back Chinese exchanges were doing most of the worlds volume but after the crackdown its died down alot.

BUt exchanges like OKEX, huobi are still seeming to do a large amount of volume.

Do you think they are good exchanges?

For example recently a coin that I have been following (Creditcoin) recently listed on OKEX and the volume has increased to almost 10m a day daily

but still many users are wary about trading on a Chinese exchange, and i do not think it has as much power as a global exchange like binance.

Anyways I am curious what everyones opinion is

I tried using okex and i don't have any issue with it.I tried trading some of my coins there. However there are some news or report that OKEX is a scam, but still i trust this exchange and it works perfectly for me.

Okex is one of the great exchanger.
Youre lucky if the bounty coin are registered on okex it has possibilities that will have a continuous circulation.
But all exchangers are prone in hacking thats why you cant all trust them. But for now okex doesnt have a huge issue so you can stick with it

I have been using the Okex exchange since 2018 and till now I am still happy with it. This is one of the leading exchanges in this market and it is competing with Binance and Huobi.

No doubt that binance is far superior than OKEX as there are many traders who are using this exchange compared to
OKEX, People who are dealing with short term trading mostly use binance.
Though there are also nice Feedback in terms of users who are enjoying using this exchange those who manage to
secure funds without any issue dealing around the exchange.
It's always a good to take things slowly, if you plan to use the service better to use small fund and try if you'll fit
yourself to manage working around.
Own experienced makes you well to decide if the exchange is working according to your needs.

They can also list scam coins in that exchange. I remember one of scam coins i have listed only in okex ,but they are also one of the trusted exchange  i use .
Open a scam accusation in different exchange is normal here. The review will only depend on you as user's and on your own experience using it.

As for my review i never experience any problem using that exchange even delay in transaction is not problem. you will also recieve a notification on your email every time you widraw or deposit any currency that exchange.

yes that's all depends on the user of this exchange itself, although from some people rate Okex is not good but there are also many who say OKEX is very guaranteed and also reliable, now on that depends on yourself whether you want to find valid information or just trust other people's talk that is not necessarily clear, when there is enough evidence to make sure you only need to include a link for that evidence so you can trust

OKEX is one of the most reputable exchange currently out there right now, the issue that I'm having with them is the low trading volume of most of coins being traded there and bot manipulation in which almost all exchanges are doing, apart from that they are good exchange to me, and to those comparing binance and OKEX, there is a huge difference in both exchanges, binance is miles ahead of okex

The ROI that has already made by jump start even is not so good as binance. Some old jump start projects have already traded below the initial price too.
