You sound like you are completely wrong with your speculation. Crypto markets just had some extra fluctuations due to corona virus but it seems it had recovered from that panic right now. Bitcoin must be the central point of entire crypto space which means we can really analyse where that the total crypto space is heading just by simply analyzing bitcoin markets.

If you consider the recent market movements happened in bitcoin market, then you can be confident about strong bullish market in coming days. One supporting reason for bitcoin to remain bullish must be its upcoming halving. It seems all the panic and the chaos due to corona outbreak have been settled down slowly so markets may start getting back to its tracks at any time.

I think the next movement in the market will be the uptrend if there is no bad news out there. But if there is bad news, then we might see another downtrend of the market which can make people panic for temporary. I've checked the market after reading your thread and market is better now than last month when the Pandemic started, it's getting stable right now, maybe because a lot of countries and companies are pushing for the vaccine that will fight this virus at least 20 companies are doing this right now, so the market is slowly moving up and steadily.

It is already affecting cryptocurrency but the comforting thing is, unlike other markets like stock, cryptocurrency market is still standing  and proving better. Like you said, it is true that people will sell or already selling to fiat to meet up with their personal needs at the same time, it is also true that since this pandemic people are still finding reasons to hold on to crypto. I think the same. Four months passed but we don't have any vaccine for coronavirus yet, every country in locked down! So, people are not earning, so, this pressure will fall in every financial sector, crypto too! Fall? the opposite is happening. I think we have already the fall when bitcoin fell to $4900 and was likely to continue but the reversal was quick and we are now on $7000. I'm not expecting further falling although there will be some minor ups and downs because that's the usual behavior of the crypto market. Others have no choice but to sell their holdings for the provisions but they can get back on it again at any price so if the price that they are about to buy is lower, they are lucky.

Since before and until today we aren't sure what will happen next. Many were expecting the dumps because of the virus but we couldn't also ignore what halving can do. It gonna be a big question but only answerable by up and down, it all goes that way for sure.
But one thing that seems to be impossible to happen is being in the bullish. It is really far from happening.

For sure it will affect any industry. See how the US economy collapsing? That damn trump doesnt care with his people as long as the work and businesses continue. Crypto is not excluded in the downfall. The only good thing that happens is the fall is not compared to stock market which really depleted because of the corona virus. Many people are strike in hunger on those 3rd world countries and the biggest one such as europe, italy and spain are in bad standing. Maybe we cant expect a good pump for this year.

I Wish I can give the perfect answer to your question but where we are currently heading now is unknown, coronavirus is still doing it's damages and no good news about cure or vaccine yet, Bitcoin halving is days away now which I think won't bring any new changes to crypto space

Think about it, right now everyone is at home and there are millions of people who are either fired or on unpaid leave, which means there is no economy at all, we are talking about over hundreds of millions of people who are not making any money right now, considering this went to big population countries as well I think this could be a over a billion people thing. That means eventually people will run out of money, and when they run out of money where do you think they will go to? Of course, their investments and those investments includes bitcoin as well.

I do not see the world economy going any better any time soon which means eventually stocks will crash again, gold and oil will crash again, and of course bitcoin will crash again. Not that it won't recover eventually, it definitely will recover, but will have another crash if you ask me in the middle.
