Hi guys.
The dilemma that I am going to raise is something that I think has passed everyone's mind.
Would you ever choose a job that pays a good salary or would you choose a job in the sector that you love with lower salary?
Personally, I would go for the first option...

in the past people told you to do what you love, because, that would last longer, but nowadays, its more that love fades away if you get fed up with stuff,

so its better to seek durability outside of love and money

I would go to “career in sector I love” option. Are these “good salary” really needed? Ok, you could but certain thing you wanted, but in few months it will turn to “not knowing where to spend wise what is earned, and hating the job”. Besides, you will have that “good salary” sometime in anyway, but a chance to lose “job you love” is huge.

You didn't make clear explanation of the both job.
What I understand is the first job is literally similar like the second job. The difference is only you didn't love the first job (not hate too) and the second job is you love it.

Since first job is don't have any negative things and more risky, no doubt I will say first job.

If the first job is more risky and can be life threatening, I would choose second option

Hi guys.

Would you ever choose a job that pays a good salary or would you choose a job in the sector that you love with lower salary?
Personally, I would go for the first option...

If money is going to make you happy then why not chose the first one? But is money going actually to make you happy? Most people seemingly do jobs they don't really like or care for, but I doubt they're truly happy with that and would much rather be doing something else. Personally I'd much rather do something I love for less than something I didn't for more, but that's just me. If you can turn your passions or hobbies into a career then that's probably one of the greatest achievements in life, even if you're not making as much as you'd like, but that's the compromise. I never really wanted to to work for anyone else and being self-employed is perfect for me. I don't earn that much in the grand scheme of things and have had offers to do jobs that would tie me down for 9-5 for much more money, but I'd rather not do that. Currently I do what I want and if I don't want to work one day I don't have to. I don't need to ask a boss or get permission, I just do it. If I wake up one day and want to go on holiday I can and still do my work from there and that's one thing you can't if you're stuck in an office all day or have commitments elsewhere. You really can't put a price on freedom.

When you say a job that pays a good salary, for me to decide which of the options will be suitable for me is to rate the difference in the two salaries, only then would I be able to decide that which I'll choose.

For example if I'm offered a job in sector I don't have much interest in and they are to pay me a thousand dollars monthly or in a sector I love, to earn four hundred dollars, it's only sensible for me to go for the former, as the difference in salary is quite so much for me to forfeit my passion for that time. But if the difference in salary between the two jobs isn't too much, maybe about a hundred dollars difference, I'll choose the sector I love.

I know it's better to work or do a job you love, but salary is as important as that, you make a living from what you earn(salary).

Only a person who has no credit obligations and no children can afford to work for pleasure and with less money. Anyone who has children will seek to earn more to support their family and will rather choose a hard and well-paid job than a favorite and low-paid job.

Depends on what your goal is and if you're good at what you love. Listening to movie stars say follow your dreams is like listening to a lottery winner tell you to sell everything you own and buy lottery tickets.

If you want to follow your heart and all that, that's great for you. I love that you have a passion and you think you can make money with it. But remember that you may be bad at it, and it may not provide the standard of living that you're accusomted to. Don't complain if this is the case because you've done this to yourself.

If you go to a career that you don't love as much, but will allow you to retire much earlier and to go on more vacations or provide for a better quality of life for yourself then that's great to.

Honestly whatever your goal is in life is going to determine this. Plus what your're good at. I love playing sports but I'm not good and I know that I wouldn't be able to play professionally.

There is no dilemma, in that matter that you pose, it is an inertial situation in life, which is posed by those who do not have clear objectives, generally in their early working life.

A dilemma usually leads to complex decision-making situations that have moral, religious, and even life or death repercussions.

Starting from that and making clear what Dilemma really means in your approach, I can tell you the following:
It is very difficult for someone to work in what they really like, but in the long run a job only means an income ... and that in itself makes many people happy. Not everyone does things he likes for money.

I tried the first option, it didn't go pretty well for me because the job requires extreme amount of research and time that Job is in the Tech Industry. Everything must be finished before deadline and fully polish and i had to go countless times to work without any proper sleep and i end up quitting that job.
Now im trying to find a job that i really love so i won't complain despite how hard it is.

Hi guys.
The dilemma that I am going to raise is something that I think has passed everyone's mind.
Would you ever choose a job that pays a good salary or would you choose a job in the sector that you love with lower salary?
Personally, I would go for the first option...

If you are not yet stable then go for the first option until you become stable and pick the job or work that you love doing but there are instances or opportunities where you can have both, it depends on the kind of industry that you are in.

One thing I can say about this debate is that the more you age, the more you will be practical and choose a good salary instead of following your passion. If you want to work for the job that you love, you will eventually burn out and you will finally fall out of love of it.

obviously all want to work because they want to get a salary, and if possible the best salary. so I agree with the opinion that with a position in the best job, the salary will automatically automatically follow will get the best. no one wants after getting a salary position it is not good.
but if told to choose as you said clearly all want to choose a job with a good salary even though the job may not be suitable. but not all will do like that, there are those who are actually happy because the work is suitable for what he wants even though the salary may not be too large. but it must be remembered that with an increase in position clearly and appropriately must get the best salary.

In order to create your career you've got to find out well what you would like to try to No work is often done by the force to enhance my life I prefer both an honest salary and a career. First I even have to create my very own career If I build my very own career ready to will be able to get employment with such an honest salary Which is enough to stay my family's people well I would like to earn more and find a better paying job to create my career.

Why settle for one and not both?

Look, the basic thing is, we get only one life. Would you spend it collecting dollar bills and not enjoying each moment of your work life? Would you choose a profession which you don't like or enjoy and in it only for the money? Isn't it like forced prostitution? Where one just sees money and doesn't enjoy!

There are lots of motivational speech that says work towards passion and many try to debunk them. But the reality is what the motivational speeches say.

If you follow your passion and do what you love and is good at, you will excel. You will not make very much amount in the beginning, but as you progress and you will progress at an accelerated rate, you will make money so much and it will not be your primary goal because you would be enjoying the journey of your favorite profession.

What will you do with the money you earnt by working so hard without enjoying at all? You will spend it by doing what you enjoy. So why not make the profession enjoyable?

Life will be full of frustration if you walk on the way only because of money. My opinion...

It is very difficult to find a balance on both.
I don't say that you can never do it, but in most cases you cannot do what you love and get a lot of money - compared to another job that might not be satisfying doing it but pays more.

People say that you should choose a profession of your liking because then you will find enjoyment in your job and it wont be a burden to you.
I would prefer to do a job of my liking no matter what it pays. With my interest and hard work, i would be able to excel in the field i love.
If i choose the other job which is not my interest but pay more, in the long run i may not be able to progress in it.

Hi guys.
The dilemma that I am going to raise is something that I think has passed everyone's mind.
Would you ever choose a job that pays a good salary or would you choose a job in the sector that you love with lower salary?
Personally, I would go for the first option...

On my end, I think I will choose first a job with good salary but only for few years until I save good amount of money, then I will divert to a career which I really like best, where I know that I can practice my passion. Because you are right, if you love what you are doing, you will not feel like you are doing your job instead you will enjoy everyday going to work and will look forward about it. So less stress in life.

I can tell you from experience to do the thing that you love. Of course if the difference in money is huge, you'll be better off with that first option but when we're talking something like a decent salary and a job you love vs a 50% premium doing some boring repetitive shit, always choose the first option!
I used to do work a very hard and demanding job that was stressful and I never knew if I wouldn't get fired the next day. At that time I was earning in one year what my friends needed 5 years for, but I'm glad it's over and I don't have to do it again. Getting burned out is the worst thing. I needed about 6 months to recover from that and start living again.
