I was looking at the calendar and it looks like the date is wrong -- your announcement says: March 26, but the calendar has your launch set for March 27. I just wanted to let you know.

Just verified. They use GMT. BonusCoin was announced under EST. So, technically it is 2 AM GMT. But, thanks for mentioning it.

Just wanted to update everyone.
We're still on target to launch with no issues Wednesday 10 PM EST.
We also got a few Pool commitments last night, thanks pool operators!
And we got a commitment for our first Exchange listing. So, BonusCoin will be tradeable right after launch!
Wanted to thank everyone for their support too!

By the way I'm one of the BonusCoin devs, if you have any questions about the wallet feel free to PM me (I'll also be watching our subreddit).

I’m sorry about cross-posting, but I saw the announcement on another forum first and posted there. I just found this forum and it seems more active, so I thought I might get an answer here. I just purchased an ANT miner that should arrive later this week. I'm smart enough to know I need to find SHA256 currencies, but I'm not exactly clear on how to mine a coin. I know I need to wait to download your client, but don't I need a configuration file of some sort? All of the other coins I’ve looked at mentioned a configuration file, but I didn’t see one listed in your announcement.
Thanks!
P.S. Nice looking wallet!
The bonus.conf file info is posted.

I like the idea of this coin, but if you're a dev, why make a newbie account just for it? Wouldn't it give the coin more momentum and credibility to use your regular account?

Kaishi has been doing mining and has done large development projects outside of the crypto currency world. Hes one of the best developers I've met. One of our goals with this coin was to try to attract new and old crypto adopters and knowing his skill sets he was a perfect person to bring on board to give a varied and technical view on the dev team. I asked him to come in and introduce himself because I was getting a couple of detailed technical questions I was translating for him. He's more than capable of handling anything you can throw at him.

Please consider adding this to the bounty list, thank you: http://coin.ww9.meThe site offers: * ( a blockchain explorer ) * a faucet to help redistribute the coins * a gambling page ( visitors can use the free coins from the faucet to play this game ), transactions are transparent to the players All these will be available on launch. Great, thanks for the support. I'll reserve a faucet and games bounty for you!

He's more than capable of handling anything you can throw at him. Im not doubting his abilities, its just that all these new coins come out and everyone always makes a new account for it so for all we know they could all be the same person or group of people. If someone were to use their regular account they would seem more commited, like CaiShen coin is doing. One of their devs is a pool operator, his reputation is on, and the coin is getting a lot of buzz. In the end the choice is up to you guys, I just thought it would be a good idea.

Just wanted to update everyone. There's been some confusion (and http://www.altcoincalendar.info/calendar has it was GMT) So this is a quick update. ** NOTE EST is on Daylight Savings time (GMT-4) - Meaning launch time is: Thursday March 27th at 2 AM GMT. This has been confusing as it was GMT-5 up until a couple weeks ago.
