this coin cannot be p2pooled! as all the source files are all over the shop. using as many guides as i could i was un able to find info required. mr bonuscoin if you think you can provide the info for me i will host a p2pool. i will pm you
Yeah there may be an issue in the code with P2Pool. We'll update in the next revision, though it may become irrelevent when PoS takes effect. That said, this is what I was told by another guy who is working on a P2Pool setup: "This is what I see for your p2p prefix, FBB0D742. But it looks like in your main.cpp file, you're using x012345678" I've alerted the other devs and when they release the PoS mods, they'll try to correct this as well.

Multipool 5% Bonus Announced! In keeping with our BonusCoin theme, we've had some suggestions from the community to offer a Bonus to our MultiPool miners. So, we contacted the team at ChunkyPools. We've agreed to provide 100,000 BNS to offer out as Bonus Rewards on the MultiPool payouts. Basically, until the bonus 100,000 BNS is paid out, Chunky has agreed too pay a 5% bonus on all BNS payouts. The multipool will mine the best Scrypt coin, trade it into BNS and then add a 5% bonus to your payout! All of our Scrypt miners can join the MultiPool here: https://chunkypools.com/bnsAdditionally, ChunkyPools is working to add X11 mining to the BNS multipool as well. They'll add it instructions at https://chunkypools.com/bns when its ready as well!

That's good news for bonuscoin. Swisscex is a good exchange for it to be on and I will be voting as often as I can.

Ok, so I tested the multipool at Chunkypool for 24 hours, a gpu running scrypt -vs- my usb antminers as a comparison to see which made more bns, results below.
8 x usb antminers @ 16ghz = approximately 8500 bns in 24 hours.
1 Radeon 7850 @ 340khz = approximately 13000 bns in 24 hours.
I did not expect these results, it's a lot better than I expected. Just figured I'd throw that out there for scrypt miners who are not sure if it works, it does.

PoS are very popular these days, just take a look at those successful cryptocurrencies like blackcoin and Cinni. They are not going to die because a lot of investors are interested on PoS coins.

Awesome! Yeah we're really proud of our codebase and the system we use for choosing which alts to mine, and when we buy and sell. Thanks so much for sharing your experience.

Ok, so I am going to start the voting tommorow. Meant to do it today, but was a long week and haven't had the chance.
I'll post up the poll on the contest thread with a link here. And we'll finish voting this weekend.
