Millennials Trust Bitcoin Over Banks☝️ Over the past three years young adults have grown to trust Bitcoin more than the leading international banks. As evidenced by a research done on 4852 participants within an age range of 18 to 65 years. ✔️ The study showed the following: 🔸 51% of Millennials trust Bitcoin. Older generations are much less convinced by the technology, driving down the overall figure to 47%; 🔸 Over 45% of those surveyed prefer Bitcoin over traditional assets; 🔸 60% of survey participants believe Bitcoin to be a positive technological innovation. This figure has grown 27% over three years; 🔸 59% of Millennials believe that within the next decade most people will be using Bitcoin; The role of Millennials in the future of the cryptocurrency industry has been pointed out by numerous experts. Late 2019, an American brokerage company Charles Schwab said that this demographic invests in Bitcoin more often than Netflix and Microsoft.

China Gets Its First Blockchain-Based Public Resource Bidding PlatformChina’s Yunnan province city of Kunming has completed the development and internal testing of the country’s first completely blockchain-based public resource bidding platform. Dubbed “Kunyilian,” the bidding platform utilizes Tencent’s blockchain-as-a-service system and intends to solve the challenges faced by the current public resource bidding process. It is expected to help authenticate the credibility of central entities involved in the bidding process and expedite data sharing and security. The development of the platform is part of China’s initiative to further its technological innovation through investments into new and emerging technologies. Chinese technology companies as well as the state and national governments are increasingly investing in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. Recently China had completed the backend development of its central bank digital currency and was currently testing it for business use cases.

New Bitcoin Price Model Suggests ‘Exponential’ Bull Run in One MonthOn-chain analyst Willy Woo published a new Bitcoin price model showing a new BTC bull run could begin in 30 days. Woo said: “This is a new model I'm working on, it picks the start of exponential bull runs. Bitcoin was setting up for a bullish run until the COVID white swan killed the party. This model suggests we are close to another bullish run. Maybe another month to go.” Bitcoin has shown a relatively low level of volatility for well over a month, defending the $9,000 support level. And If the price of Bitcoin remains stable for longer, Woo said that it could strengthen the next breakout.

He said DeFi “has a huge opportunity to grow”. “I believe DeFi space has a huge opportunity to grow and one of the leaders in DeFi space, Kyber Network, just crossed $1 billion dollars in trading volume and project market cap is worth more than $300 million dollars, which I think is way undervalued. Indian Farmers Will Use Blockchain for Supply ChainsOne of India’s largest farm producer organizations (FPO), Sahyadri Farmers Producer Co, is integrating blockchain into its business process for its supply chains to increase efficiency and transparency in the traceability of food products. The founder of Sahyadri, Vivek Shinde, said that in the present scenario, farmers get only 25% of the final price of sold goods. However, with increased efficiency through blockchain implementation, they can share as much as 50% of their revenue with farmers. The organization expects to use blockchain-based data sharing to improve trust in its pricing and sales information that it shares with farmers and buyers. Blockchain integration will further allow customers to trace products back to the individual farmer who produced it. Customers will be able to do so using QR codes or digital maps attached to the products. It is a worldwide tendence - an increasing number of blockchain companies are now working in the agriculture industry to increase efficiency and help farmers earn better revenue.

Is it possible to hack Bitcoin?🔸 Cryptocurrency critic Peter Schiff wonders whether the recent hack of verified profiles on Twitter is “a harbinger of Bitcoin itself being hacked.” 🔸 In a July 16 tweet, Schiff mentioned yesterday’s mass hack of verified Twitter profiles which were used to promote a Bitcoin scam, further suggesting that it could be a prelude to a hack of the cryptocurrency itself. 🔸 Analysts and crypto experts did not agree with Peter Schiff's suggestion, noting that the scammer’s decision to use Bitcoin was probably motivated by authorities inability to censor and reverse Bitcoin transactions. Also, many experts recalled that it is almost impossible to crack Bitcoin - this cryptocurrency has a decentralized protocol, thousands of nodes, everything is transparent and auditable. All of those features make the network much harder to hack than Twitter.
