Exchange has a NDA(Non Disclosure Agreement) terms on all the project before listing. It's there protocol to avoid price manipulation of the coin. So obviously those team who are blatantly announcing to the member that they will list soon on exchange is hoax. Unless they do IEO on that particular exchange then they will have sure listing.

90 percent of current project in altcoin section here are scam or just garbage project by incompetent team that don't have any budget for initial expenses for the development of the project. Sad but it's the reality.

I've seen a project that claimed they are going binance in 2019, I can't recollect the name again, one of the project team member works for binance and that makes people believe the token is going binance but later on its all fake, binance never said anything about the project on their Twitter

You can never say that. Project may promise to list on Binance after ICO, that does not mean that they had an agreement with Binance. However, a lot of projects promise in their roadmap that they will be listed in top tier exchange but fail to do so.

Yes, and people who already have a lot of experience will certainly not immediately believe the claims of the project, because the exchange always provides information when new tokens enter their list, so don't be fooled because of this.

of course those crap projects were lying to get the hype but the majority of investors are smart enough consider about invetors will always ask the official announcement about that. Before any biggest exchange sites will try listing a coin and there will always be an official announcement from the exchange site itself through use social media account or its own blog.

Lying about getting listed on a top exchange is bad and shows that the team are not competent enough to run that project hence should be ignored and avoided. Announcing IEO listing on a top exchange is a normal thing as the project needs investors. But however, being an already listed project and spreading false information about secure listing on a top exchange when the exchange is yet to say so, is wrong; If such a thing should happen it could mean that the team have something bad up their sleeves, that is, with such news the price of the token on the first listed exchange could increase and might be a good time for the team to exit scam.

So many projects are doing that they even list exchanges that they are going to be listed, these are small projects who just want to attract investors, they connect their project to exchange, people should be educated that this kind of projects are a hoax, or better if they insist ask the exchange about it, so you can verify.

If it's possible to deal with  that then make an effort to communicate in order to be enlighten if the team is really working with the exchange. It's always better to do your research it will save time and your effort and in case you are also planning to invest it will lessen the chance of getting scam if the team is really doing the thing with their project in terms of adding or listing the project to a reputable exchange.

I completely get you, sometimes some project mostly make reference to this big name exchange to lure investors into thinking they have the intention of listing their someday, but in reality that's not the case,
Since the hype of ico have died long ago, ieo is the only way of generating funds, project team are desperately looking for ways to make people invest in their empty project by making false claims, so yeah, very important for everyone to really watch out for such project and avoid them if necessary.

Deception still accompanies some new projects in the cryptocurrency market.  but I think that every investor should be a little smarter and if there is any statement from the team about listing on a specific exchange, then this information should always be checked.  The fact is that the administration of any rating exchange always makes an announcement about the listing of certain coins.

The information listed on the exchange needs to be kept confidential until the end. If they claim to be listed on large exchanges without confirmation from the exchanges, they are definitely fake news, and you need to stay away from the same project. They have absolutely no future and are not worthy of investment

That can be a market strategy to bring patronage to the project. Investors like to put money in top exchanges , also the project team would look for how to beat investors and hunters but this is bad. At the end, the project might not even list at all, becoming scam.

Yes mate your observation is correct, back then many ICO's are using those lines "Soon to be listed ****" that was misleading. Because most of the popular cryptocurrency exchange has required the *NDA protocol or (Non-disclosure Agreement) meaning if that project is not yet confirmed to list on that exchange. Then they are not authorized to share any of such information. Because they are prohibited to disclose any information without any finality of everything.

No exchange will very the future listing of a certain coin/token unless they announce it in advance themselves. There are tons of new shit exchange like coinsbit and p2pb2b which is look like really a legit exchange but in reality. They are scamming small project thru listing fee on their IEO. There exchange have a 90 percent fake volume.

I wonder when will regulation start to sue these unregulated exchange that scam people thru fake volume and wash trading.

You can't blame those projects who wants to list on top exchanges, they dreamt about it until they find out that the listing fee ain't something they are ready for or will be ready for, small projects will always have problem listing on top exchanges
