As only five days left from now will there be a major change in price?? Speculation across this forum are very positive and now we can see the price change every day as well.

Comparing to previous month we have seen a massive change of 20% in price, will this story continue? With Halving just around the corner hopefully we will see the same increase like previous Halvings. Guys share your opinions..

We could see a speculative price pump to potentially over $10,000 before the halving. In 2016 we saw a pump pew & then a dump post halving. There will definitely be some fairly significant moves in the short term future. I certainly wouldn’t try short term trading atm.

Regarding the price, nothing can be said with surety but i like bitcoin gradually clearing the resistance and moving up.

I've never seen some positive movement from my Altcoin just like I saw today cause some of them to gain 200% of their prices. this is the effect of Bitcoin halving that will happen in a few days. I wonder if the price of Bitcoin will continue to grow with the schedule is now so close. I mean there would be a bull-run right? because the other Altcoins are increasing their price as well. this has not happened before for 2 years.

     A major price change will not occur immediately, but it is normal for the price to rise after halving. The miners will produce only half of the BTC they have produced so far. They will not stop their activity after halving, but will cover the costs of halving. But I do not expect significant growth, because COVID-19 has seriously affected the economy.

So far it's positive and it's kindly not expected because the other halving didn't go like that. As halving approach, most likely the price went a little off and it just recovered after several months. On the other hand, we're happy to see that it goes like this.

We don't know if it will continue but as long as you remain bullish and goes on long term, you won't look to the short effect of it.

Well, it looks like there's quite a lot of positivity out there. As soon as this positivity isn't going to turn into silence in a matter of weeks, it could turn BTC into a monster. If everyone goes silent soon after the halving, get ready for nothing.

Just stay still and hope a 2015 crypto-doomsday like scenario isn't getting ready for us and everything will be fine. Price will move according to what we do with BTC and if the FOMO continues, it's going to be a positive movement.

If data of previous halvings was the basis I think it will be a long term since we see a price increase and better if we take a look as well on the hash rate of the network if it will tend to increase or not. Well, just my wild guess is we could see an increase the fact that pandemic might be in longer term as well, it will even drive out more the value of BTC. It's all speculation, let's see what's he (market) got.

The core of bitcoin is the pure speculation from the people, as I see the positive remarks of some famous people out there, they helped bitcoin a lot especially that we are having this even called  halving that will cut the supply into half, and guess what we are all anticipating the good from it since we already had 2 great halving results in the past 8 years. We already hit the $20K ATH, I guess it is time for us to go after that price range.

There will be an increase before halving occurs. Prices are increasingly showing a significant increase.

As I have said, everyone is very positive pre halving, we might hit 5 digit soon at the price is having a good rally in the last 24 hours. The big mental barrier is about to be breach, so stay tune. The concern is what is going to happen after the halving. Either it's a dump or the price continue to go and peak at $12k-$15k.

I got to tap on the rear view mirror here, do you not see the 3k to 10k move and thats a considerable move.    We'll likely digest that change in price before moving so considerably again in such a short period of time of just 8 weeks.
   People demand a little too much, got to let the cart horse rest if you want progress.   There is no set course but thats what I expect and how I remember 2016 roughly.

Nice list you have here, I know that you spent some time searching for similar topics and making this post! Sadly it will not change anything, people will continue with the same behavior!
Halving is closer every hour, and believe me we will see more similar topics, not just here in economics, in all other sections of the forum. I spend some time reading them, usually it makes me smile while I read all kind of predictions, from pessimistic to highly optimistic ones. There are good comments too, and some people hit the nail in the head with some comments, like you know, or with their reviews of current events, and possible outcomes.
Anyway this is my second halving and I feel like it's a new year, you can feel excitement everywhere, from this forum to twitter and telegram, other crypto places. Casinos are offering special promotions, exchanges are trying to attract fresh blood, looks like every service trying to keep up with halving event!
