Unfortunately, there is theory that some people buying altcoins when the price reached LL/ price floor/ bottom with closed eyes.
Just because the altcoin is currently cheap doesn't mean the price won't fall again. That's how some coin's prices fall down and that's how some small investors lose their bitcoins. an investigation should be done before every small investing.

Now all token price does not move according to BTC price,it will drop 20-30% without any sign of drop, but when you will compare with bitcoin you will find that you are in loss.

If you do just try to compare their value in the first place then its no brainer on which one you would gonna choose.Yes, it might not give you the best multiplier in terms of profit out there but you are at least confident
that you are dealing with something established than risking out on a questionable or non assured shit coins in the market.Of course, alts wont really have that correlation of bitcoins price from time to time and we have seen it over the years that it would either go along side or would be stagnant or would go to the opposite side thats why it would really be just a gamble-like when considering on putting investment on alts,

I have known this thing since I saw the extremely volatile of Altcoins last 2018 and think about not to fully invest in it unless I fully know the coin. When you put your money on altcoins from bitcoin, expect the worst thing to come because the loss rate is higher than 50%. This were a lot of people who failed when they think they will hit the jackpot just like that and the result there are lots of them who lose their money due to their blind investment method on Altcoins.

Altcoins are much cheaper than bitcoin and buying altcoins can increase chances of making bigger profit than investing in bitcoin. You can buy one gold coin or 50kg of copper coins and in the end of the day both will cost you 1000 dollars so copper want't really cheaper. You got more weight but worth the same amount of money! The main difference is that if you keep holding for a year you may not find anyone to buy your copper from you.

For every good altcoin there are approximately 1000 shitcoins. There are some genuinely good alts, and they will see their day in the sun. The potential gains are going to be at least 10 fold of what you'll get with bitcoin. You can get a bigger slice of the pie because of a smaller number of holders.


That being said. It takes a ridiculous amount of resources and good devs to see a coin that can offer something good build on top of what bitcoin already has going on. There's a new coin that is called a TBC which is a scam that is really popular at social media platforms and after months it got busted. Today the numbers of those shitcoins scam is getting bigger, a lot of newcomers are getting victim by it. I think that's one of the reason why many people are losing on altcoins.

This doesn't happen always, mostly the price of the altcoins decrease and also the pumps are the only way for making money in altcoin market like 300% as you said. If you just hold and think of making money then you are completely wrong as the value of altcoins is decreasing, only a few altcoins that are in the top 10 or maybe top 20 are worth investing in and also the ones with a huge market cap along with a high daily trading volume, if the volume is less then there is a great risk of loosing all the money that you invested in that coin.

I think not all the small investors because there are some people who made an investment when the altcoins have a good market price too in the previous years. Sometimes the altcoins are going up the same with the bitcoin-like happens previously to the market price of the bitcoin reaches over 13k dollars and the altcoin for example is the ripple each ripple reaches for over three dollars which is a huge improvement too. But today I think there is a lot of issues on the altcoins because some of the investors already made an investment on bitcoin because they know the halving is coming which is good because there is a chance that the bitcoin now beat the previous resistance of the price.

Stil,l there are a lot of people supporting these altcoins because they see the potential of this coin to make an increase which is a good thing but it takes time before there is a market change but we cannot tell because the market is volatile like what if there is an investment comes upon for example in ripple it is a huge change there is a chance that the ripple may go up for over 1 ripple equals to 2 dollars.

After the halving i expecting some sort of rise for these pump and dump coins, i have seen many pumps in unknown alt coins in the past few weeks and i have no idea who is doing these pumps but there are social media groups including the 4 chan groups promoting alt coins and they are really going up but i was not confident enough to test my luck.

For all the new users, beware of these pump and dump groups, even if you want to try your luck make sure to cash out once you reach the target.

So many investors think that, using Bitcoin to buy any altcoin that's good looking to expect back a huge reward is foolishness on their part because the link between these two projects at entirely different. Some project look promising and later got investors scammed of their hard earned money. Some of these projects stop half way after getting investors funds and disappear to tinair without a trace. Don't use your Bitcoin foolishly because all the market prices solely depends on the existence of Bitcoin. You can only invest when your are sure of the project success or with good prospect.
