Hey fillippone, welcome to this topic As a fine connaiseur of Italian dishes, I know how pizza is made in Italy and how it is made in the rest of the world... Indeed, their recipes are different. Also indeed, the Italian pizza is great! With no offense to Italian cuisine, which I love a lot, I'd like to mention though that in other places original recipes were altered in time and people got accustomed with the altered ones...

I understand Pizza day needs to be properly celebrated, and I endorse GazetaBitcoin's effort in calling each topping for a reason....but too much is too much!

Regarding the current situation, last time I checked I was only 1 vote ahead of Nionio, and one other member (can't remember his name as I don't think I saw him on bitcointalk before) that is few votes behind, so by tomorrow midnight anything can happen, nothing decided yet.

Like the last year, Nionio ( I don't know his bitcointalk username) and I shared the first prize of 0.01 BTC. A a reminder, here are the winning pizzas; on the top you can see his pizza shaped as a BTC sign, and on the right side is mine.

Congrats to both of you! I honestly drooled at Rikafip's pizza and also at his pizza from 2020. Rikafip, you are a master of your domain! Nevertheless, congrats to NioNio too, especially considering that he was also a winner last year. Actually both of you won in 2 consecutive years!

I will do my best next year, as this year was my first attempt I finished 3rd this year (this is considering you two finished first both, with an equal number of 11 votes, then there was a user gesangmoe with 7 votes and then me with 6).

I also like BayAreaCoins' idea, which was a... sushi Bitcoin? I did not know other dishes are allowed... but her sushi looked nice

All in all, congrats to both winners and also congrats for winning in 2 consecutive years! Next year I promise I'll do better!

Wanted to let you know I made a Discord bot that sends a message in a certain channel when a new topic is created in the Collectibles board. So who is interested in collecting will not miss new auctions, raffles, etc

It uses TryNinja's API who generously left it available for the public. Thanks again for that !

Currently it's running on my test server...

Wanted to know if you guys consider it a useful tool so I can talk to Cyrus to add the bot to this server as well (full disclosure: it was his idea to begin with)

The time flies fast as laszlo must have ordered so many pizzas afterwards also but that inconic moment will never be forgotten that made this day celebration possible.

Yeah definitely. I think the main reason @Cyrus kept it on Discord was that he wanted to sort animate the server, and while number of participants was decent first two years, I think that this year's would be much lower. Hopefully members of Italian board (*looking at fillippone*) would join if contest was hosted here, to show us how the real pizza is made.

I just hope I have enough time to make bitcoin themed pizza this year, as its been my tradition for 4-5 years now and I kinda have a lot of work lately and I have a crazy idea that would take me a lot of time.

As only 4 days are left pre-heating our ovens/microwave and having some pizza designing is on the go for many  .

Is it true that microwaves are officially banned in Italy for making pizzas or you need to have special license to be microwave pizza seller?
