Yea, the superstition thing is quite funny when you visit the brick n mortar casinos, because some people that are playing the Slot machines, have this superstition that they must rub the screen to have good luck. Well, I agree with this. Gambling is gambling and no matter how long you've been playing or how experienced you are in a particular game still it will be your luck that will make you win. Gambling is a matter of win or lose and the important line i do like is that "we shouldnt let ourselves being controlled with our emotions" this thing really works

I agree with your point but its just common sense that you should really know on what you are doing with the game because good cards wont be utilize if you dont know on whats the game is all about.
Even its already a good situation to call but you missed that part because you do lack of that knowledge. Luck cant be called nor being affected by several factors but as said

The problem most of the time is that people play with money that they cannot afford to lose and that makes them play again with emotions in the hope that they will be able to recover the losses and and again these people lose money that they couldn't afford to lose

I am not going to talk about superstition because in Africa it has become something normal since centuries ago and today or at least for some years now people are realizing that certain games are necessary to have a lot of knowledge and develop a good strategy to win

Well, I guess every professional gamblers we do know today have also started from scratch and have learned their strategies or how they will cope up into circumstances throughout the journey from the experiences they have which basically composes of losses and wins but more of losses I think since experiencing loss and mistakes makes us realize or learn something that makes us a better individual which we can do apply on being a professional gambler ourselves. We must not compare ourselves into the latest professional gamblers we do know because we are all unique in our own ways and we can also be a popular and well-known gamblers by just being ourselves because playing gambling and winning it does not make it only a day unless you were really that lucky. The point is that we can all be professional gamblers by doing the thing we know that will be good or helpful to us for being a good and professional gamblers on our own ways.

Although I don't win that much like your example I still do win.

One of my superstition belief is resting.
Thinking that lady luck is not my side when I experience a losing streak.
What I'd do? Rest for a while, 1 hour of break then go back.
If the results are still the same, I would rest the whole day. It is not that bad, preventing to lose more is a strategy too.
