This new thing will not be enough to end the ongoing halving party of bitcoin markets. Even anything may not be having such power to end this as bitcoin is the pioneer which means people believe into it regardless of whatever technology or revolutions you will be bringing in. I am not saying these just for your new algorithm but there were similar innovations had been introduced here but none of them sustained against bitcoin's evolution.
Probably governments' regulation or big corporate's negative sentiment nor anything will not have long term impact on bitcoin markets for sure.
Bitcoin doors for new miners who cant afford expensive hardware and electricity bills are close for ever. Whats important is that there are other options available where new miners can mine the coin profitably aka MASS. |

So much newbie shilling in this thread  In other words if you put 1000 dollars in MASS in May you''re down 650 USD and if you did it in June you're only down 400. Such a stable investment  thanks to sudo intellectuals like you many of newbie like us missed another golden chance to invest in a coin that gave huge return in very short interval. |

There are many senior accounts who keep on predicting about coins (usually negative unless they invest themselves) and we newbies believe in them without doing any proper research. |

Ten years ago mining was open for everyone but with time it was centralized and now only few can do this. MASS is good in a sense that everyone can at least participate in mining process, primary reason is its not power hungry.

MASS price is going and its a real test case for MASS. It has to remain stable somewhere around 0.75$ to 1$, otherwise people will take it as pumping and dumping coin.

MASS halving party may not be as attractive as bitcoin halving party. MASS has its own advantage like its PoC consensus algorithm which in turn is powerful enough to support many blockchain instances.

recent btc halving has given so much to btc investors that no one imagined that after this halving btc will go so much up.
MASS may be good edition for new people who wanna join the market but it will take time.

See spikes coming in price of MASS, this month it went upto to touch 1.4$ and now its trading around 0.6$. These stable prices are mainly because MASS has developed a strong community which many other coins fail to produce over the years.

The five advantages of MASS like Permission less , Fair , Energy Efficient , Universal and Secure are no doubt making it one of top consensus algorithm in current generation. MASS is also doing good on exchange in terms of both price and market cap. MASS need to prove that it can continue this behavior in future too.

This consensus algorithm is based on providing proof of storage space. Every node has to provide a valid proof of the capacity in order to submit a block to the network and claim reward. The algorithm makes it impossible for any node to generate capacity proof without having the corresponding storage size, and this proof can be verified by every node that participates in the consensus process. Block is accepted by the network only if both the block data and the proof of capacity are valid.

On the other hand we have coins that have good market price and still provide equal opportunity to miners of all categories. |

Right now every crypto coin is enjoying party because of Bitcoin halving. Once this party is over, we will see which coin has the capacity to stand on its own feet. MASS has so far done a great business since its launched on exchanges.

MASS may have its own edge but its comparison with BTC halving is not justified. This coin performance is good on CMC, perhaps the main reason is its PoC consensus algorithm. We have to see can this coin still maintain this value after BTC bull run is over. Only then we can say MASS PoC can takes you some years back. |

OP you mentioned that MASS has shifted the consensus algo from expensive mining devices to storage but you haven't mentioned the distribution of reward based on quantity of storage. Like What reward one will get if he has 1 TB and other has 10 TB.

Its very obvious that more HDD you bring more reward you will get. But how much increase in reward is not listed anywhere. So its better to try and see yourself (if you are interested in seeing the reward). |

Bitcoin halving party in terms of mining may be over but it has brought with it such a huge value. Its interesting how new consensus algorithm are changing the mining sector. With new algorithms like PoC its possible to mine using your HDD. But you need to be careful because the MASSNET reward to HDD ratio may be small since MASSNET is now trading on exchanges.
