Also, just found out now that the upcoming Blast Slam changed their playoffs format to bo5s.

I'm looking forward to how it plays out since we barely see other teams have the opportunity to play in a bo5.

Ohhh, you're right. I haven't noticed that and that's going to be a long playoffs then if all of the games there will be best of 5 series. It's interesting and looking new, we'd see how tiring most of the games are for the participating teams. I guess that they have to train now not to get drained too easy with 2-3 games. This is the hard thing about being in the pro scene but that's part of it, good luck to them.

Just to share a fun occurence, I was going to share the new player from when my friend sent me a message that coldzera was going to MongolZ. I see with your post its cobrazera not coldezera so I was pranked very hard

I could not believe coldzera would go to a team like this so it was very exciting news and I was curious to see the results. But cobrazera makes sense. Now many people are sad that Senzu is not going back to the team

I honestly don't mind seeing that crossover happen, and I also saw some comments that assumed he was a Brazilian player because of the name similarity with coldzera.  

Speaking of Senzu, it's impressive how he's ranked as the 13th top player of the year after skipping several tournaments, including the second major tournament in the last two months.

playoffs with bo5 huh...great I guess this means the break between each game would be much shorter otherwise it would take like a full day to conclude, thats like 2 games on each day because playoffs run for 3 days only

They probably dont need to because even if the players are not competing in a tournament, they literally spend atleast 6 hours a day playing pubs for sure. Probably atleast 8-12 hours a day on average though for majority of them

There was a post that pointed out Blast Slam IV's low viewership, so I assume they saw that, and this was their response while retaining the structure of the playoffs.

My initial assumption was that the Blast TOs wanted to improve their ticket sales, but that might've been a bonus after they said they "listened to the community".

Yeah, most of them play a lot every day as part of being a pro.

That's true, with the new patch now and changes. I guess some strong teams will have to adjust and we'd see that they'll flop. One team that's getting into these qualifiers are Parivision in the EU region. I've bet for one game later on their match against Cheeki Breeki to win at least one map against them. LOL.

That's a juicy one for a map handicap, but it's not that far off since Pari usually goes for some of the weirdest drafts. BOL

I'm going blind on the SEA qualifiers with Execration to win over REKONIX. I have no idea how good their opponents are, but I think they're stacked enough to beat them and make it to the finals tomorrow.

When NaVi threw that first game with their Pugna carry draft, I thought 2-0 was already in the bag for Parivision, but giving Ursa was a mistake in the second game.

Maybe losing their coach is starting to get to them because even the bookies thought Navi had no chance until that one big fight happened and Navi's DK went to work with that amplify damage rune.

Astini was a great impact to the team, I don't know who's their coach for this qualifier but they did well for all of their games in the playoffs except the grand finals. I think that they became confident against Navi. Navi plays like that now, they're unpredictable. Moving on to the Dreamleague WEU closed qualifier tomorrow, as much as I want to bet for Navi against Mouz. I think that I'll be choosing Mouz on their match.

The bookies are on point with their upcoming match in the qualifier. I also think Mouz should win, but they can still disappoint due to their recent struggles, and NaVi could be riding a momentum after that win against Parivision.

Luckily, Mouz won this with a 2-1 ending and Navi still did well on this but they'll now have to go through the lower bracket against Lynx. And as of now, Mouz is fighting against Team Falcons it's currently 1-1.

That was unbelievable, they even managed to complete the reverse sweep when it felt illegal for them to win that second map. They're like trailing 30k+ in gold, with both sides only having one set of barracks left, and then it only took one greedy move from VP to punish them.

I agree, and it's why fading Nigma was my other pick over on their series against Liquid, but it wasn't as juicy with the 2-0 only for 1.50 odds.

He can do whatever he wants and I think that everyone accepts that he's so talented and the community kinda like a kid that's just so quiet and stomping the stronger teams. And he's got a different charisma compared to the likes of ammar and malrine. I have my bet later on the games for Nigma and Virtus Pro. I guess that this is kind of a hard bet since both teams are inconsistent lately. But I have seen more victories with the Nigma.Galaxy than of VP.

They probably thought it was worth taking a gamble on a rookie player, similar to how Satanic started on the tier two scene, but it's too much to ask from a rookie when the roster is struggling for quite a long while.

My bet has lost and Virtus.Pro became all of a sudden a good team on this one beeating Nigma 2-0. But their next opponent is going to be hard and that's Team Falcons. One more team to face and they'll be qualified. On the upper bracket, Team Liquid did it and able to beat Zero Tenacity and they're now going to the main event as well. We'll see which of the teams(Z10, NaVi, VP, Falcons) are going to qualify, two will be eliminated and two more slots waiting for the main event.
