If this is how they are gonna play in TI then they probably wont make it out alive from the group stage. I'd say they are still better then the previous roster but they played far too safe on the 3rd game to the point where it could gets ugly for them

That's also my expectation for them going into the tournament. They'll need some insane luck to survive the Swiss stage and avoid most of the tier one teams.

Blast Dota announced that they're going to change their format for the Blast Slam VIII in Malta. There will be no more best of 1s, so expect longer games and more teams to participate. I think this is a very welcoming development and more teams are also going to qualify for this tournament in October.

That sucks, I really enjoyed the bo1 group stage format because the odds were always bettable even when there was a disparity in the matchup and i'd sometimes parlay them to stack the odds. Their new format looks like the traditional group stage, but with extra steps since the top team of each group will still have to play an extra set of matches to determine who gets the better seeding.

Maj3r is leaving Aurora. He announced that he is leaving the active roster and taking a break from his professional career to spend more time with his family. Besides Maj3r, Soulfly is also on the bench. This seems like the next step in a significant rebuilding process for Aurora. An international roster was being discussed, and after these departures, an international roster is almost certain. Aleksib was being discussed as the IGL. Who the new IGL will be will be announced soon.

Jimpphat is expected to replace soulfly and the new IGL is likely to be Kyxsan. Another rumour is molodoy to replace woxic but it says it isn't expected until 2027.

In short they are going international... I think the only way to win a Major was to take this brave step. But I wish MAJ3R stayed. He was one of the best IGLs in professional CS.

Continuing with the MSI action since we got a banger between T1 and BLG later today. The over maps would be the safer play given the close matchup, but i'm backing T1 because these guys can always turn up and beat any team on a good day.

I agree, they have to somehow optimize and maximize the production so that they'll get better return. It's understandable and it's also a good one for bettors like us I guess.

Yeah, I picked the same as you to bet today since both teams are strong so I'm expecting a draw too. Although BetBoom had a better performance in the last tournament, Team Falcons is not a team to underestimate especially when competing in big tournament like EWC.

I agree, this is the best time for most tier one teams to make mistakes and OG already met Yandex multiple times before, so it comes down to which side is willing to take the risk this early in the tournament.

For me, I got Yandex to win this series, but the odds aren't as enticing(1.60) as the OG handicap, so to make up for it, I combined it with the MSI matches for tomorrow.

FUT has announced the transfer of Xfloud. The announcement came immediately after LauNX's departure. The FUT team has made a really good signing. Xfloud is an extremely talented and hardworking player. After Heroic, he will continue his career in FUT. He's been on a great upward trajectory in a short time. Some don't think he'll be better than LauNX, but I think otherwise he'll be better in the long run. He's also a more aggressive player, so he'll contribute more to the team.

After watching most of the games in the 1st day of Dota 2 EWC , I think Yandex showed a lot of sandbagging and yet won with a crazy networth lead in both games , followed by both SA teams of LGD and PTime playing a superb style that could lead either of them in the finals and in the end , I saw Liquid , XG , OG and even Falcons having issues and neither of them showed any big improvements since DreamLeague or Blast.

Grats OG made it 1–1 against Team Yandex. I honestly thought it was already over for OG when Team Yandex had a 20k gold lead but OG made a comeback and turned the game around. They look really solid with Raven, just like they did with Nikko, I hope OG can win their next series against LGD or at least make it another 1–1 draw.

Yeah, especially with Team Liquid and XG in my opinion. I hope that if they advance to the next stage they'll surprise us with a strong performance especially when TI start next month. That game two was as close as it gets. The networth lead continued to snowball for Yandex then it came down to that one decisive fight and OG just ran away with it.



My next pick is on PlayTime to win 2-0 against L1ga team. This is one of the teams they need to 2-0 if they want to secure top 4 and with L1ga missing one of their players, I think this is worth grabbing at this price.

There's a lot of criticism; I've seen more people saying there was no point in sending Maj3r away if Aleksib wasn't coming. As IGL, a change was necessary, and it would have been better if Aleksib had joined. Kyxsan isn't bad either; we need to give him some time to see what he can do with the new international roster.

I had a good time watching them. Lorenof played really well on Map 2 and with that performance Nigma was able to secure a win against Aurora. Many series ended with a clean 2-0 yesterday and I lost my bet, I thought GL would be able to take at least one map against XG. However, XG managed to drag the game into the late game and took advantage with their draft. Next, I'm going to try a parlay on Playtime and Aurora to win their series 2-0. Good luck guys
