Same, i'm not trusting their 4-1 record just yet because they also did this in the EWC group stage only to lose 0-2 to BB. Team Liquid bailed me out from going 0-2 with another reverse sweep win, and I wasn't expecting them to be the other team to finish 4-1.

I'll be on the flipside of that EEU derby between BB and Aurora. I've lost my confidence in BB after they burned one of my live tickets yesterday, and I think Aurora will put away BB again unless they can fix their weak link in the offlane.

I should've just bet over 2.5 maps on them tho, what a regret.

My only regret from yesterday was that over on the Spirit series. I was hoping they'd at least force a game three before dropping the series.

Aurora managed to secure a victory against JiJieHao. I don’t understand how Spirit lost to them—either our guys played really well, or Spirit actually wanted to lose that match. It’s worth noting that Jimpphat had a great game. Woxic and Kyxsan also made good contributions in terms of frags. We didn’t even need XANTARES and Wicadia to step up to win the match. JiJieHao really played poorly, and it seemed like our guys had prepared well.

FURIA managed to win the decider map against 9z. After winning the maps 13-6, FURIA lost in overtime on Mirage, the map they had picked themselves. Perhaps the match would have ended 2-0. We must note that KSCERATO, who racked up 65 kills in the match, played a major role in the team’s victory.

XG got out too early together with OG and huligani. My prediction and fantasy was totally out of order already haha. Team Vision got in to the playoffs with Nigma and Team Liquid. My bet has lost today with Team Spirit. But moving to the elimination round, I'll be picking BoomBoys against Aurora.

I thought they will beat LGD on yesterday match since they already have game 1 while game 2 seems they have complete advantage since they have the best combo, high ground defense and quick power scaling with Drow Ranger of Ame yet they didn’t have a chance to pull off a good clash since their Magnus was beaten badly by Topson on mid.

I have no complete overview about new team these days but still I want to ride on Liquid this TI.

Paravision seems unstoppable but we all know everything change on main event.

Vitality made no mistakes in their Lower Bracket semifinal match and secured a solid victory against their weaker opponent. Lynn Vision couldn’t even win a single round on the T-side of their chosen map, Dust2. That must have demoralized them, as they were unable to make an impact on the Inferno map either. ZywOo was the undisputed star of the match.

In another Lower Bracket semifinal match, MongolZ defeated PaiN 2-0 to advance to the next round. It’s worth noting that MongolZ’s standout IGL, BlitZ, made the victory easier with his strong performance.

It was extremely clear that Jimpphath would prove himself in close matches, and he did. I wasn't expecting such a performance from Kyxsan; he contributed quite well to the frags in the Jijiehao match, it seems he's adapted to the team. Neither Fly nor Jotta could have done what Jimpphath did; they brought in the best player they could for his position. I hope Kyxsan continues like this. Come on Jimmy, keep it up like that.

The last matches of the EWC CS2 group stage are being played right now. Soon the round of 16 draw will be decided...

As you can see there will still be 16 teams in the playoffs! This is quite unusual compared to the most CS2 competitions. More matches = more fun to me of course. 

Some favourite teams have looked really shaky so far. Vitality and Spirit got some unexpected results but they did good in the lower stage though. Let's see if we have a surprise winner this time like MOUZ in the last BLAST competition.

Im going to bet on Falcons to beat them just in case they screw up on this game but it would be nice if they actually win although we could all agree that Parivision ( Vision ) gonna win the whole thing most likely

It's so weird to see them only lose once, but they got lucky facing the weakest opponents after the first round and were tested again in the fifth round.

I'd also take Falcons over Nigma in that series, as I can see them becoming the other finalist. For the final boss of this tournament, there's no doubt it'll be Vision unless they fuck it up.

MOUZ managed to close out the series against Parivision on two maps. With this victory, MOUZ secured a spot in the playoffs. I think the fact that Parivision played even worse on their own pick, Dust2, is what prevented them from taking the match to the decider map. Even if they had won their pick, they would have had a chance on the decider map, but if you can’t win the map you picked, your chances diminish significantly. Thanks to strong performances from Spinx and xertioN, the win came more easily for MOUZ. Jame’s contribution wasn’t enough. The IGLs’ frag contributions stood out on both sides in this match.

You know that I always complain about how bookies are giving that bad odds on most dota2 games recently right. Now tell me what should I bet on this



Bookies are literally not giving any attention to Nigma at all eventhough they sweep 4 games in a row. Falcons should stand on around 1.75x, this is just terrible and Nigma +1.5 sits on 1.5x.

I rarely bet on Odds below 2x so I think this is the best I can afford from this game

Mann I lost all my bets yesterday and now I'm on a losing streak. Elimination Round is next and I'm taking another chance with over 2.5 maps on the Aurora vs BetBoom match today, in the Group Stage Aurora managed to clean sweep BetBoom so I hope BetBoom will be able to secure one map and Aurora will get one too.

No one expected Nigma will advance to the playoff and able to defeat Team Spirit to get that ticket to the playoff, let's see if another favorite team will get eliminated in the Elimination Round.

Well BB, took Aurora 2-0 so it's just 2 maps there. I've won this bet. I guess that many are now expecting that Nigma will have a good finish for this TI. After having a lose streak in all, bets, predictions and fantasy. I've got the BB win some money.

I think that Pvision is serious this TI and they've been consistent all along, what I think can beat them should have a surprising hero pick. As for XG, there seems to be an internal problem when a leak came out through reddit about the management and players status.
I haven't pick a bet yet, 3 day break for the main event and live stage and playoffs to come.

If I want to sprinkle on a pre-live line with odds of 2.00 or better, it'd be that over 2.5 maps or Falcons -1.5 map handicap. It always comes down to who can whip up a solid draft, but this reminds me of the MENA qualifier days with Falcons always stomping Nigma.

It will be different this time on the playoffs with my impression on BB. I guess that many have lost their bets on the elimination round and this format is different from the past TIs.

I would've grabbed that on Falcons, but it's understandable when those odds on Nigma are too juicy.

I'll share another one tomorrow, but for now the focus is on CS2 as we have the EWC playoffs. From the four matches, i've gone with the FURIA series since they're the closest and I trust their current form to edge out Aurora. This could still be a close series if Aurora gambles on a different map pick, but from my perspective, this is FURIA's series to lose.

I want to place some bets on today’s matches. For example, the G2 vs. Astralis match looks like a toss-up—who would you pick?
I’m going with FUT and Aurora right off the bat. I expect them to win—or at least that’s what I’m hoping for. In the Gamerlegion vs. MOUZ match, barring a major upset, I think MOUZ will beat their opponent.
I’m just undecided about the G2 vs. Astralis match.

Yes, I was attracted to the odds but that's an amount that I can gamble with and it's okay whatever the result is.

OG was the hope but didn't make it, I'm expecting them to disband or maybe change in roster after this TI.

We'll see later how it looks like and if chinese dota 2 fans can prove what Valve believes to be them as the largest market they have.

Aurora just can't seem to beat Furia, they were actually close today. The new players messed things up this time. Xantares, Wicadia, and Woxic played well, the maps were close. We said Jimpphat was good, a great player, but we jinxed him by saying it so much; he had his worst match. If he had contributed even a little, Aurora could have won Ancient and beaten Furia 2-0. Molodoy showed his class on Mirage, the last map.

Team Yandex really struggled in their last match against LGD looks like they're still adapting to the new patch, This playoff matches really making hard for me to choose which team to bet and since we're entering the playoff I hope that Team Yandex will regain their momentum that's why I will bet on them this time.

I really wanted to bet on BB because of the odds and also it's playoff but once again their opponent is PARI, last time in the group stage Aurora beat BB 2-0 and in the Elimination group reverse clean sweep was incoming, made my bet lose again. So I'm thinking the same thing will happen in this playoff which I'm gonna bet for over 2.5 maps on the match PARI vs BB.

Team Yandex really struggled in their last match against LGD looks like they're still adapting to the new patch, This playoff matches really making hard for me to choose which team to bet and since we're entering the playoff I hope that Team Yandex will regain their momentum that's why I will bet on them this time.

We've seen teams bounce back in these important matches, so I get why you prefer to back Yandex. Best of luck with those bets, at least one of us will be cashing on the Liquid series. 

My other bet that i've mentioned before the playoffs start would be 1win over Team Spirit. It's a very even series, but I prefer 1win's current form because when I watched their previous series of these two, it was always Larl or Collapse looking like the weak link for Spirit. While on 1win, it's more of a draft problem that's been cooking them.
