I've change my mind here, Team Spirit managed to beat GL with that OD pick so if they play with proper draft (hopefully no OD pick for Yatoro against Team Yandex), beating Team Yandex shouldn't be impossible. So I will try bet on Team Spirit with smaller amount.

Best of luck, as i'll be on the Yandex side. I was thinking of taking their -1.5 map handicap, but saw this interesting market and might as well take a stab at it.

It's like a less sweaty option if Yandex can lock in the first map, or it can be a dud if they overcook their drafts right from the start.

We've lost, and I've seen that OD carry once again with Team Spirit against GL in the lower bracket but I didn't bet for that game.

That was such a brutal loss, it's like both Spirit and Yandex showed there are levels to being a top tier team. The second map in the Yandex series, it could've been doable if they cooked up a scaling comp rather than an early-mid game because they quickly fell off once Yandex stalled long enough.

The same thing also happened in one of their games against Spirit. They had some tempo going with the Viper draft, but Spirit knew they just had to stall long enough with their AM carry that only gets scary in the mid-late game.

After watching both series, I still think Yandex is a step ahead but this could turn into an interesting final if Spirit can rely on Batyuk to pop off just like in the series against GamerLegion.

Team Spirit have no mercy, they've ended the grand finals with a 3-0 against Team Yandex. This will make them a rival I guess for this season and it's just both of them that will see each other on the playoffs and up to the grand finals. Yatoro is also determine to keep on using this OD carry. I think that's a scary of him and these teams should start respecting it and ban the hero, oh well we'd see OD in the pubs again. That was a solid improvement from Spirit and they deserved it with that kind of performance. I thought their drafts were always questionable whenever they bust out the OD carry, but man, they made it work against anyone.

At the same time, Batyuk, it's great how he's already adapted to Spirit's playstyle and can clutch it up in high pressure situations.

Yandex also leaned too heavily on their comfort heroes lacking synergy, while Spirit had a better game plan by drafting one or two core heroes with good CCs like the Earthshaker, Enigma, and the OD.

I was already pessimistic when they draft OD as their carry in game two but Slark on Team Yandex didn't bring good contribution in the late game imo. Honestly I couldn't believe Team Spirit managed to clean sweep Team Yandex when no collapse around, Batyuk really improved a lot.

I am impressed with batyuk, I know that collapse is better but there's a new guy helping the team. He's doing a lot for every team play that they're fighting for.

Yandex also leaned too heavily on their comfort heroes lacking synergy, while Spirit had a better game plan by drafting one or two core heroes with good CCs like the Earthshaker, Enigma, and the OD.

Yandex was so close on that game with OD, that 70+ minutes of game and was about to win it but I just feel that chira_junior didn't do much on all of those games to be honest.

Just when I start getting my hopes up for this team, they always end up losing really badly. They lost 2-0 to Team Liquid in their opening match at IEM Beijing. The matches start so early that I couldn't watch it live, and I'm glad I didn't because apparently it wasn't even worth watching. Team Liquid completely dominated them and wrapped things up quickly. Hopefully, Aurora won't get eliminated from the tournament too early after dropping to the lower bracket.

I'm also surprised by how Spirit flipped the script, and they proved us why they're the recent TI winners. It's almost like a straight up draft battle because they've been playing each other so frequently.

They will continue as a team although with a different team name, Do Konca. I think that Save mid really didn't worked and torontotokyo as a coach. GPK is needed by this team but with the new team name, it's going to be kiyotaka that will be their mid laner while save going back as pos 4. I thought that they're going to be one of the best teams out there, they're only having a hard time with Team Spirit, Yandex, Parivision and Liquid. But good luck to their journey and let's see if they'll be back in their old form just as before how they can fight toe to toe with the other tier 1.

I agree, kiyotaka is also a good mid laner although he's not as good as gpk but that's a better guy than save's transition from pos 4 to pos 1. It was a complete surprise although he can play mid but not with how team play goes with gpk as a good midlaner.

Trying out some League action today since this is their biggest tournament of the season and there's only 3-4 matches before they wrap up the event. I want to see if T1 still has it in them to keep the three-peat alive or if they're just lucky with the matchups they've been getting.

They need to do it earlier because they're missing out on several tournaments scheduled in the first six months of the year and it's not worth it when they have the budget for a good roster.

That's true, I guess that for every invites that they get they accept all of it and just keep on trying. And speaking of going back, Gaimin Gladiators has posted on their page that they're about to get back. I'm not sure if they have settled the issue and payments on their former roster. But this is going to be interesting that they'll be back and who is going to be part of their roster. I hope that there won't be too much issues anymore on this team as they come back.
