I doubt that TryNinja might not add it or not as TryNinja doesn't have much time available as stated in post above so adding the link of your translation of the original thread will/won't be added. Also, there if some prefer English then I have created a thread for it already except the famous hairy hand part.

Ah. Finally, he got time for it and he updated the OP. To be honest, I didn't notice his recent post. I Understand that he is too busy but, Finally he added it.

Unfortunately I didn't really like using Telegram before but it seems like it's become a necessity for me now so I can give this notification bot a try. I just activated the telegram bot where there are two feature available to me at the moment, mentions and new merit. Kinda curious if it works now for me or not but it would be great to give it a try if someone is willing to mention or send me a merit just to clear up these doubts.

By the way, I hope this telegram notification bot can make me more active in the forum just to answer anyone who mention me in a post. Thank you Tryninja for providing this facility.

Yeah, It's worth giving it a try. It really makes your Bitcointalk life easier. Without this bot, You can check your merit from your Bitcointalk profile. But, It's almost impossible to know who mentioned you and where if you are not engaged with that thread. For example, I never Posted on One of DdmrDdmr's Thread, So if they write there about me, I will never know. I am using that Bot right now and I just find out DdmrDdmr Mentioned my name in one of his threads.

We are the same I encountered this kind of issues way back December 7 2021, I have  166 merits in total then I (Merits:170) you received 5 merits from royse777. The. Another (Merits: 172) you received 2 merits from ThePharmacist
But the bot notify me like this.
Instead of 171 but the bot says 172 but it is okay the problem their is the total of the amount of my merits but the person who gave you and how many merits you've recently received it is okay and accurate.

Yeah, but the solution is up there so you can set your current number of merits on the bot with appropriate command, my bad I wasn't scrolling this thread but I was keep checking the bot page on my telegram for a while to find where the actual count was missed and I just unlucky there.

We are aware of that issue; it does happen occasionally. Just set your merit counter manually as explained by TryNinja earlier.

I've jsut discovered that the bot missed reporting a few received merits on one of Ddmr^2's sprees (december 5th). It was 2 receive transactions on the same topic, but it did correctly notify the previous and next ones... Any particular reason; or just technology being technology doing strange stuff from time to time?

PS: already reset the counter, it's more about reporting the issue than anything else

I’m not sure. I do see some downtime from time to time (most from the forum’s part). I believe the bot checks for the last XX merits on the history page, so maybe Ddmr^2 burst was faster then the bot itself. But I can’t check that as I’m traveling and didn’t buy a laptop yet (don’t have one and it’s expensive on the country I am )

looks easy, but this is important for a work tool.
it will be very troublesome if you see 1 by one message. time and boards that have been visited.
In some research bots of this kind, I spent a few weeks learning what I deserved and needed.
armed with positive notifications and some constructive posts about this bot. I decided to take a look and use it (yours) I'm pretty sure and I'll prove it myself. thank you

I see other people complaining about that so, let me be the next one.
The bot in my case is off with 3 merit.
Notifications are working fine only the merit history is wrong. If TryNinja wants I'll track exactly which merit are missing, just let me know if you need that.

I've had the same problem with the merit count before but there is an easy fix regarding that. You'll just need to command the bot using:

Yes I have tracked the error.

I also had some glitches in the merit count.
I am sure that Tryninja is able to solve every problem, so I only resorted to the

You mean you had to correct your count (with /setmerit X) multiple times the past week? Because, once wrong, you have to correct it yourself so it's back on the right track. It won't fix it by itself.

Did you copy the correct UID of your profile? If you get the correct set up you should receive notifications and mentions because the bot is still working perfectly. It has nothing to do with Rank, the bot is for everyone.

You are not on the database by uuid or username. Also, last user was registered on 5th of February. What exactly have you done?

I don't know what happened, I put correct usernam n uid. But still didn't received notification until now.
Now, Restarted again n hope Will work
