Hopefully!! this year altcoins gains potential again, 2017 was a great year for altcoins and the signs are coming back again this year so lets wait and see the outcome

Stop treating all the 10,000 different altcoins as one. Because a huge amount of diversity exists among them. I am not talking about the copycats, as there will be nothing unique as far as they are concerned. There are promising altcoins out there, and we need to differentiate them from the more numerous shitcoins and copycats. And future potential is looking good only for the coins with real life usage.

This is the importance of studying market analysis, understanding the supporting factors for altcoin pick. Every altcoin has its own advantages and potentials. It can't be generalized as you explained.
Well, there are important events and project developments that we should not miss, for example, hard fork, mainnet launch, etc. That can be a strong fundamental factor to get a good chance at choosing alt.

This year seems the same like what happened in 2017 but altcoin gets increase when it was giving a big update. some altcoins were still stuck without any development progress are not getting a big pump like 2017. The situation is a little bit different.

I was hoping for it to happen but looking at the trend now it seems impossible to repeat or even get close to 2017 crazy all-time high, some token made a momentarily pump unsuspecting investors bought it and now they are suffering a great loss we are still in the era of fake volumes and artificial pump so be careful on investing.

Altcoins can only moon when Btc dominance decreases and money pulled from Btc is pumped into Altcoins or when new smart money enters the altcoin market. They cannot moon without balance of new money or high marketcap dominance.

I think you should watch that the current domination of bitcoin has been decreasing a few percents since ethereum has started its really and other altcoins too.
It doesn't always mean if altcoin must go along with the bitcoin. Altcoin can surge when it gets a good update or progress.

not really. some facts we see that falling prices for bitcoin also make the same effect on altcoin. There are even some altcoins that are dumping badly due to falling bitcoin prices.
to be honest, I think otherwise right now. when the price of bitcoin rises, it will affect the price of the altcoin for the pump. we have already seen an example. even that happened since 2017.

I don't think that when happens altcoins go around aloft, because after end year 2017 every altcoins drop and yet they are unable to occupy a good place. However, bitcoin price need exceed $12k minimum then each altcoins will get their highest place back, so you have to be holding and guessing what the next.

I do not really thing Altcoi is mooning when you look at Bitcoin market dominance, it is still around 64% for sometime now, what I see is that money is moving into some Altcoins and out into another ALtcoin. People need to becareful with this, look for a good Altcoin and move out early before dump

You are right it will happen later or sooner, but it seems it will take a really huge time to happen that. That is why altcoins depend on the BTC, more than that BTC doesn't want to increase right now. Maybe when we see the movement of BTC, we can say that altcoins season is near to us. But we must a bit more patient. Mostly it will happen till the end of the year. Maybe at this time, altcoins can show us the right price, it can be worthwhile for us to collect some altcoins that can be profitable.

honestly I do not understand what you mean, is it possible that you mean about a new coin called (ADDON) or what? I think it's still early to say that altcoin is going to go to the moon, you can see for yourself the fact that new altcoins are difficult to develop and that most of them are useless after being listed on the exchange. has no real liquidity or usage.

Because of limited funds, I have been aggressively trading altcoin and it has been a sweat journey. Nevertheless I will never advise anyone to risk their BTC on a new altcoin without clear direction.

Only those quality projects have the chance to increase their price. We all know that most alt projects are crap, so there's no way they will perform good in the market. Only few will survive because most of these projects are designed to grab cash.
