There were a lot of things. It’s clear that at first he leaked half of the deposit. Then he came to another exchange, with a large number of m coins, and bought the first coin that came across. After 30 minutes, he could have + 33%, did not sell. Then I had to sell at the purchase price.

When I trade I always buy high and sell low. I don't know what is wrong to me but I always got caught by the hype. I always ended up becoming a hodler. Emotion plays a big part in trading, if you have weak emotion you can be easily manipulated by someone who proclaims to be an expert.

Forex trading is fraught with risk if you don't know the mechanism of trading on Forex. Unlike trading in cryptocurrency, when the price of an asset drops, it will remain in our account, but its value decreases.
Many of my experiences in cryprtocurrency trading, profit and loss have become commonplace, have withheld several altcoins and did not provide any benefit. Until now I am still active in the world of trading, and now I am switching to the Future Binance Trading platform which is more efficient but still has a high liquidity risk.

Not all has a good experience in trading though. And it's not an easy way to earn actually it is a complicated field. you have to learn many tools like fundamental and technical analysis buy yhat doesn't guarantee you 100% to make a profits all the time because our enemy is the volatility of the market.

I wanted to turn into another field which is Forex tradingz too. But I know myself that I am not yet ready and still having a hard time into crypto tradings. If by a good chance, I am confident enough to say that I am a good crypto trader then by then, I can try forex trading.

Trading is good, but technical analysis is something I'm finding difficult to do. It's not that I am lazy, I don't think I am, but because I'm always busy and I don't get the time that's needed to learn all that and get perfect in it. I have job I'm doing already and I spend most of my time working and only gets a short time to look into cryptocurrency, read news and do other things I want to do, so doing technical analysis is like a big stress for me so I don't look into it, and that's why trading is not really my thing.

I have tried options trading and forex trading, and I have also tried cryptocurrency trading. Right now I'm just an investor, and I invest and wait for long term before making profit.

Been trading for quite a while now and it took me time to get to where i am today coming from a noob in trading. Trading cryptocurrencies was one hell of an experience for me Grin.

The first cryptocurrency i traded back in late 2018 was bitcoin and i lost a whole lot of money trading it. I guess i didn't learn enough about the crypto market and the volatility involved before delving into it  Undecided.

Ever since then, i picked another instrument of choice. I went into the FOREX trading. I plan on coming back into trading cryptocurencies but for now i'm still learning about the crypto market.  Cheesy

It was a painful experience though  Grin

What was your experience ?
To begin with you should probably move this thread to the trading section of the forum since that section seems to be the right section for this topic.

My experience trading bitcoin has been in fact positive but that is because I have dedicated an enormous amount of time to try to learn how to trade, anyone that dedicated just a few days or weeks is bound to eventually fail, trading is a very deep subject and there is no one that can master it so quickly, not only that even if there are many ways to trade that could be profitable there are only a few that could be right for you, also it takes a lot of time to backtest your strategy so you make sure that it actually works, when you combine all of these factors it is really no wonder why so few people are successful, so my recommendation is that before you pick a new instrument to trade that you try to find the reasons of why failed and then you correct them.

Did that already. Thanks!

You made a whole lot of sense here! Trading is not something you rush into.

It is like a flower which you water in order for it to grow.  The water is your personal effort you put in.

As every trader says, trading isn't for everyone so if you are into looking forward to high profits having a lack of knowledge and experience, trading isn't for you. Good for you that you were able to make in other markets as you say, the forex.

My experience was the same as yours, didn't made that much on my beginning days. Until I've decided to stop it and just focus in holding. I guess you can consider that there's still trading in it but, it only happens when you want to sell at a higher price or buy when the price was a bit low but you have to wait again. So it's a combination of patience and target selling/buying.

Exactly! Trading is not for everyone.

Hodling also has its downsides. I invested heavily in so many projects back in 2017/2018. I was hoping one of them will be the next bitcoin.
Even though i took partial profits, i literally lost most of the money i left on the table. Losing in crypto is outrageous; you get to lose a large % of your investment in just one day.

I believe everyone needs to know what cryptocurrency investment entails and invest what they can lose.
Everyone has the same mindset way back those years because it's the era of ICO. Many thought that there will be something new that can kick bitcoin out of its place but it's proven to be a wrong mindset because bitcoin will remain at the top.

Those lessons and experiences that we've learned during those times are helpful if you apply it in today's time. Investors, trader or holder, there's always an attached risk that we have to remember.

Failure to accept risks turns out to cause pain.
Everything has an attached risk.
Great point!

There were a lot of things. It’s clear that at first he leaked half of the deposit. Then he came to another exchange, with a large number of m coins, and bought the first coin that came across. After 30 minutes, he could have + 33%, did not sell. Then I had to sell at the purchase price.

At least you got your money back  Grin

We were all manipulated at the beginning and some of us are still being manipulated.

Not all has a good experience in trading though. And it's not an easy way to earn actually it is a complicated field. you have to learn many tools like fundamental and technical analysis buy yhat doesn't guarantee you 100% to make a profits all the time because our enemy is the volatility of the market.

I'm happy you know this.

I went a long way since I started trading. I fisrt got into trading altcoins because I thought I should differentiate and hold more than one coin and Bitcoin looked expensive.

Later I grew up gained experience and begun to understand the market better. Got rid of most altcoins that I held and bought Bitcoin. Started trading it and then went through another phase where I stopped trading and turned into a Bitcoin hodler because I was finally able to afford my first bitcoin.

I'm not going back to trading. Sometimes I do it for fun with a small amount of money but holding was what brought me the biggest profit.

-snip-
learning technical analysis is indeed quite difficult if you do not have much time. I, too, but at least understand little by little about the technical basics of analysis. Being an investor must also know when to make a purchase and when to sell to benefit from the investment made. Long-term investment is a profitable investment if you get a good project or coin.
in addition to technical analysis, Fundamental science is also needed to find out the latest news that is happening in the world of cryptocurrency or the world of investors.

What was your experience ?
Use the past mistakes as weapon, and right learning is one of the best strategy before entering and putting your money.
But you can start trading in free cost by using some exchange offerings so you will learn in actual trading without
spending a single penny and after you have learn then start using small money as starting capital and check good
exchange in BestChange platform here https://www.bestchange.com/ maybe you will find the best exchange
that will fits your desire fees and support and also the higher the rates in exchanging is the most important thing.

When I was a newbie in trading cryptocurrency, I always had that courageous feeling about the coin I was about to buy that it is the next bitcoin after a few months. Little I know, you really need to go for quick research about those coins before investing any amount in it. because if you just randomly invest in coins or you just believe the rating made by paid raters, you will end up getting your investment loss. There are lots of them before, thankfully I've learned a lot of things since then. Finally, you will acquire some helpful skills throughout your trading career when you just focus every time you hit some good coins along the way.

When I trade, I use a candle stick chart and news of crypto to deciede buy or sell. I also save more than 30% balance fee to DCA when the crypto dump. And finally, I never use all of balance to buy something. REMEMBER, DO NOT ALL in any case

I usually research the chart of any cryptocurrency before deciding to trade with it. First of all, I will be trending on the market. Next I will follow the trend of the week and if there is still a trend of increase, I will buy 20% of my assets and set the selling price at the upper resistance level. I also combined the graph view and the news about it. If it is in a rising trend and has good news (for example, going to list a big exchange, about a mainet, cooperating with a big partner ...), I will buy in and see the resistance or enough target is to sell. That is my trading experience

Everyone has a unique experience. Especially when I was a newbie. This is an important lesson for everyone. By learning from mistakes and evaluating, we will form a new person.

I was once interested in trading signals. Waiting for instructions to enter the market and often confusing to decide what to do. Often carried fomo, greedy, etc. Until I decided to study this first, even though I didn't fully understand, at least I had a thought to decide whether I should enter the market or not. It's more calming than just drifting.

Yes, this is very good that you have mixed experience in this online earning sector.
But i involved with cryptocurrency when BTC were in full moon that is $18k price. I started with bounty program because i was very new at this platform at that time and thought if i want to join trading i have familiar different sector of crytpo market. And gradually i involved in trading. Yes there is also profit and lose experience also but i think this experience will help me in next days.

thanks.

I have lost about $ 1,000 in bitcoin trading. At first, following the trading signals, but not having the patience, I often closed transactions ahead of time, losing money on commissions, and also doing other nonsense that seemed to me more rational solutions than those proposed. Later, I began to trade myself, and in the beginning I even managed to do something, but in the end I lost the entire deposit and realized that I did not understand anything in trading.

I feel you. There was a time when I was only using Bitcoin, and it's been for about two years. Then 2017 came, and the altcoin market started flourishing. So I've made a couple of mid-term investments: Ethereum and Litecoin. Both were a huge success. Then during the most bullish times I started investing at other altcoins and tried to do a bit of trading. Needless to say, I lost pretty much everything when the prices rapidly went down at the beginning of 2018. I invested a very small amount of money, though, so it wasn't a big loss for me. But trading seems too hard to me. It's way easier to just buy something and hodl. It's also more profitable from my experience, but the times are very different now.

My experience has been one of total and unfailing disaster. I genuinely do not think I've made one right call. Same goes for any buy or sell. I spent 20,000 of some shitcoin to buy a PSVR. Within 2-3 months that became a $40,000 PSVR. I spent $500 on another. By the end of the same week that was $2.

Some people, most people, are not cut out for it. You have to have a very rare type of personality to thrive at it. At least I'm capable of admitting to myself that I'm shit at it. Many are not until all the money is gone.

Well, we all have that unforgettable memories when we were so dumb because we're too naive about of how is our first trading. Back in the day I remember the time when I did receive some airdrop token I automatically dump it right away since most of the people did it already. Not knowing it would pump from hundred to thousand to hundred thousand but it just drop after some days when it reached hundred thousand but I only sold mine for some hundreds only, imagine if I sell it at hundred thousand? I felt bad and regret my quick decision that time.
