Many investors and bounty hunters makes this mistakes over and over and later they blame the project team. Just imagine the damages these can create.

Social media channels work like news channels for a project. Regular updates about the project are published on these channels. Among these channels, Twitter and Telegram are the most important. Investors and bounty hunters have to visit these channels regularly. If not, many times the payment may be missed. Like I myself once missed a $200 payment for not doing KYC in due time.

Token and smartcontract must have done easily and i think it should always be opened to make sure the whole investors or hunters can get the new tokens. It's a shady thing for the developer to close it when there are some people still not aware about that.

KYC must have been mentioned when the campaign was started and the hunters can understand the risk to participate in the campaign.

The bounty payout is depend on the team and something there will always be a change in this rule.

It's not totally the fault of investors or hunters. Sometimes the developer was changing the rules and introduce KYC at the end of the campaign. That's the fault of the team.

You said KYC must have been mentioned?? Are you new on here? Many bounties end up changing their rules once bounty campaign is over, same thing happened with ARCC bounty this year, I failed to follow their telegram, not knowing they've tell hunters to fill KYC form and which of course has limited time, I missed out big time on this and the token has huge value

This reminds me how i missed on a bounty, the project team did not mention KYC at the beginning of the bounty and later when i went for long vacation, they said due to regulations, all bounty hunters must undergo KYC through a third party, long story short, I didn't participate and miss out on that, It's really important to follow any project on their telegram channels and check your messages once everyday, I know it can be boring because their are too many messages on the group, but it's worth it.

You may have to understand the discussion of the main topic, the update information of each project is in the telegram group but many people miss it so trading the same coin name but different smart contracts, missing KYC information, others, but not only social media but all campaigns of each project will ask KYC if needed, so analyze the potential of the project and don't give ID to scam projects.

Telegram social media channels are priority for team discussion with investors, many big news issues are released on telegram before being published on other social media, so telegram news should be monitored if you are reviewing a particular coin, you can also ask anything about the project if you find something you don't understand and the team will immediately respond to your questions.

And with social media, many are also being victims of fake airdrops, marketing, and projects. There are scammers that do buy pages that have a lot of followers for them to easily make people think that they're a legitimate project because have followed them.
But little did people know, not all of them are for real as many of them have just bought those pages for them to easily gain traction from their potential investors and they can show that they've got already made a brand themselves. And from there, they can also phish those people that have no idea if they are real or not.

We can't remove that fact as it's a reality that happened when a scammer are fully equipt to attract their targets, they can buy a social media account that have good numbers of followers to make it look real, and they can hire other people to boost the page and create attracting post /shares to make sure that people will follow and support them.

Without deeper knowledge, they slowly gain attention and investors will start bringing money, not knowing that it's a scam project that will
run their money away.

That's why those victims are really not aware of these strategies that scammers do. Even if it's looking like the official page but then without further checking, that's where they fall in. They only rely on the number of followers but then that's not enough for them as it's a matter of thorough check and many don't do it. They just check the numbers and that's what they think is a way to verify the authenticity of those pages.
Sad to see that many don't DYOR utterly. And with vast spam comments of saying good reviews, you can see the obvious there.

this is why i also give top priority to telegram channels among others. Even sometimes they publish some news nowhere but on their telegram channel. But telegram also has negative sides. And scammers triggere them and sent dm you to follow some instructions as if they are admin from the channel you are joined with. And thus they scammed. So should avoid such necessary texts

You need to pay attention as it's really possible that someone from telegram will PM you and will introduce themselves as the developer or part of developing team, not realizing that it just a scam attempt that those who failed to investigate will fall to a scam / hack account or worse your hard earned investment.

Be very careful, as all those social media channels are also a good place for hackers and scammers.

added one more really maddening things is that sometime the swap require one to pay taxes in which gonna reduce the rewards significantly sometime the taxes was about 50% which is quite ridiculous enough.

The surprising way for now with the many types of new coins scattered. There are many scams that have sprung up with coins that do not have prices and take data from what you have convinced. You should understand in more detail to do KYC today. All can do anything with you.

I think the phrase "buy and leave" because people don't want to check the price every 5 seconds also affects this. Many times, I found many people who left and just learned the news months or even years later. Probably because for weeks or months there is no significant progress from the project, they get tired, leave it, and then forget that they have the tokens or coins. Even if it's already been announced so many times in the project's channels, when you have selective attention and are kind of lazy to follow that project news, you'll lose it.
Especially for bounty hunters, I think that too many projects that they work on make them not pay attention to projects that they've done. Only work and work without further following up, and it's wrong. Many of them come to the group only to ask about distribution and listing, and when they don't get an answer, they leave. Before they invest or join in campaign I think they read all the rules especially kyc some bounty has kyc and they tell it.

If I take part in a campaign for a 4th point project, I always monitor it on the Telegram channel or Discord. This is important because if it is in accordance with the payment date this can add to my passive income and replace my operational costs in working to complete tasks according to campaign rules. Maybe everyone knows. we charge to work.

I don't think you are clear with your message but from what I can deduce from the replies it is about the team not paying bounty hunters after the campaign, the truth is that some of these developers are crazy, if you go to their Telegram group to complain they will block you, if you tweet about them on the Twitter they don't care and just mute you. The way to protect oneself is to do background checks on the team and also on the bounty manager, some of these bounty managers are lax and won't fight or protect their hunters from being scam
